Chapter 9: Resting.

(Celia’s POV)

Waking up, I realized that I was in bed, with Nia and Lia holding me dearly. It goes without saying, but this bed had been replaced after, uh… Midas’s medical intervention.

Their warmth was nice, just as it always ends up being. Though I passed out when it was just the morning, and I had slept for many hours, I was still beyond exhausted. Outside the window, I could see that it was pretty dark out…

Faith: “By the way, I made a backdoor deal with Midas.” She informed.

Celia: “…”

Faith: “If you’re curious, then I will tell you what it was about. Basically, as you know, Maralia and Midas have the privilege of getting their souls cleaned without needing to die, or lose their memories.” She replied, explaining it even though I didn’t ask.

Celia: “I know that, yes.” I reply with an encouraging tone. I wanted to hear this deal, after all…

Faith: “Very few get this privilege, as you know. One of those people is me, btw. Technically, I did die, I just kept all of my memories. Anyway, long story short, I included Maralia into the deal as well.” She replied.

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

Celia: “Did you take her habit of running people in circles as part of the deal?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Faith: “No. I noticed that you got peeved by how Midas did that, so I am doing it as well, just to be cheeky.” She answered with a smug tone.

Celia: “…”

Faith: “Basically, after you die for real, as in, your soul becomes unstable after millions of years, we agreed on how to approach you in your next life.” She explained, acting like she didn’t just admit to doing something silly.

Celia: “Oh? And what exactly would that entail?” I reply with a curious tone.

Faith mentioned this a few times before, and I never once doubted that she was serious about it. Even without knowing it, I am destined to be captured by her in my next life… Wow… I feel bad that I find that hot…

Faith: “I won’t lock you up, as they gave me first dibs on you. I am sorry to say, but your wives, even Ria, will not reincarnate with their memories. You won’t, either. But I will, that is, if I ever die again. Us three will be your wives in the next life.” She explained with a happy tone.

Celia: “Oh…” I reply with a not really surprised tone.

Maralia and Faith I get, as one is my wife, and the other constantly flirts with me. As for Midas… I didn’t expect for her to actually have feelings for me.

Faith: “Ah, don’t misunderstand Midas. She will be your wife only as recompense for what she did. She swore to protect you from us being crazy yanderes.” She added with a laugh.

Celia: “Tell me… apparently, all of my wives are yanderes. Why the hell is that the case? It can’t be due to our close divinity, as I am not a yandere.” I ask with a sigh.

Faith: “Yanderes are just the type of women that you attract, Celia. There isn’t anything more to it than that.” She answered with a giggle.

But why, though? Ah, this is a question that will pain me for millions of years, I am sure. I had some more talks with Faith, which eventually evolved into her flirting with me again. Then I fell asleep once more. At least, in my dreams, I am free from yandere wives…
