Chapter 66: Should I Kidnap her?
(*Yona’s POV*)
Once outside, I made sure that Celia wasn’t watching me. Then I summoned my spirit horse, Gale. Since I just summoned her again, she was wearing her armor. Gale really looked like a Demon Lordesses warhorse.
Snapping my finger, her armor vanished. Now she just looked like a normal horse. Tying her reins to a post outside the building, I began to think about my current situation…
Celia guessed that Asmerelda wasn’t actually dead. But she didn’t notice that the horse that we rode here on was a spirit horse. Specifically, a Demon Lordesses spirit warhorse. The dark mist that she showed up from was more than enough to tell that Gale wasn’t a normal horse, after all.
In that sense, Celia must just have good battle instincts. Otherwise, how else would she have figured out that Asmerelda was using a fake substitute body in that fight? Most people would have just assumed that Asmerelda was a crazy necromancer with a death wish. Instead, Celia accurately guessed our plan to fool her. Thankfully, she didn’t suspect me of colluding with Asmerelda.
Yona: “Should I kidnap her now?” I say to no one at all.
Would that even be a good idea? Celia doesn’t seem like someone who would sit around doing nothing all day. Despite telling me as such, I am sure that Celia will work hard to get stronger and stronger. If she does, kidnapping her would just be a pipe dream…
With a sigh, I put on my ring of invisibility and went back into the house. It was quiet. Despite this town being destroyed, the lights in this house are still working. There aren’t any candles, so it seems that the mayor of this town was very wealthy.
Similar to both Celia and my estates, the lights were powered by Mana Crystals. Specifically lightning Mana Crystals. With such luxury, all you had to do was flip a switch and any room would light up. Even with no one besides us in this town, an odd warmth came from this place.
Now then, where did my wife go? Wife, huh?… Am I really such a cruel person? Celia hasn’t really made it clear that she doesn’t want to be in a relationship with me or not. Even then, I already see her as my wife…
*Some Time Later.*
Is Celia really not Victoria’s daughter? After searching every room of this house, I found Celia’s peacefully sleeping in the master bedroom. A fearless girl, I see… Very similar to Victoria in that regard.
Even if I wanted to, people like Asmerelda, Selen, Victoria, Clarisa, and finally Celia, I cannot mind control. Their wills are just too strong. Celia is sleeping like a baby. This place was once overrun with a skeleton army, but it seems that Celia doesn’t mind at all.
Instead of being worried or scared in this environment, she just went straight to sleep. As she is a human, this is something odd to me. Necromancers don’t just summon things, they have other methods of attack, such as magic.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Most people, even some demons, would greatly hesitate to go against a necromancer. There are many falsehoods about their magic, such as if you get hit with it, you will turn into a skeleton. Or some other monster that they control.
But Celia just fought Asmerelda head on, even blocking an attack with her small dagger. Asmerelda was very strong, so it was surprising that Celia was able to fight against her with ease. The original plan was to just pretend to be overwhelmed, and with Celia’s help, kill Asmerelda.
Much to my chagrin, I ended up looking like the weaker of the group. I couldn’t reveal my true power, after all. That oddly didn’t matter to me, though.
Having Celia care and protect me was so special. It is very hard to explain… Celia accepted my healing potions without a second thought. Seeing as she was in a deep sleep, Celia must have not realized that I spiked the potion she drank with a sleeping potion…
Creator: “You should kidnap her now.” She advised.
Yona: “Who the hell are you?” I yell, drawing my sword at the woman.
I didn’t care about being loud, as Celia won’t be waking up at least until the morning. This woman was odd… Her face was completely blurry. Like I was somehow drunk. The wine I drank shouldn’t have had this effect on me. Yeah, Celia’s face is clear as day…
Yona: “Answer me!” I yell once more.
Creator: “Tell me, child, do you know what a Creator is? Oh? You do. How wonderful!” She said with an excited tone.
Yona: “…”
Creator: “You see, this girl has been my only source of entertainment for a long time. Well, the best source, I should say. Come here, I will show you something.” She said, grabbing my hand.
The woman led me over to Celia. Never in my life have I ever be overwhelmed like this… This woman was so strong, I couldn’t beat her even at my best. This is what a higher being is? How vexing…
Oddly, the woman put my hand on Celia’s chest. I thought that she was a pervert, but she placed my hand in between Celia’s breasts. Seconds later, I realized something horrible about Celia…
Creator: “Oh? So you already figured it out? Yes, Celia’s soul is damaged. Which was why she ended up in a coma for so long.” She explained.
Yona: “…”
Her soul is damaged? Celia is this strong and skilled, even with her soul being so broken? I could barely feel it… It was like Celia was an old person on their deathbed. She was that weakened. This is horrible… She must be in so much pain, but I got her to follow me to this dangerous place, and let her fight an entire army alone…
Creator: “That’s right, Celia is in pain. But don’t worry, the pain is to a point where Celia doesn’t even notice it at all. Most people would still be howling in pain whenever they tried to walk, but not her. Celia is too strong.” She said with a bright tone.
Yona: “…What do I have to do save her?” I ask with a serious tone.
Creator: “Save her? You don’t have to do anything. I don’t know why, but Celia being around you is healing her soul. Instead, what you should do is think about kidnapping and locking her away.” She replied.
Yona: “I…” Her next words cut off mine.
Creator: “It is funny, right? The more you stay next to her, the stronger that she will get. Eventually, once her soul is repaired, it will take your entire army to subdue her. At that point, you won’t be able to hold on to her as easily as you could right now.” She explained.
The woman whispered more evil ideas into my head, and then she quickly vanished. Like she was never even there… Celia has a higher being watching her? No wonder I fell in love with her so fast…
Switching into my nightgown, I got into bed with Celia. Since I gave her a sleeping potion, I was confident that I could touch her without her waking up. So I touched her face carefully. So soft… Her soft and slow breathing falling onto my face, it was just too intoxicating to bear… Being a Demon Lordess, I didn’t need to sleep. For the entire night, I laid next to Celia, thinking if I should kidnap her or not…
