Chapter 8: After That.
(Celia’s POV)
Midas: “Maralia’s position and job is far higher than me, but I oversee most of the game on a level slightly lower than hers. Regardless of what crazy thing that you do, I will prevent anyone from seeking justice.” She swore with a bow.
Celia: “I see.” I reply with a nod.
Midas: “I understand that you might not wish to look at me right now, so I will leave. Oh, my apologies, but your other wives must go back to their dimensions.” She said with a remorseful tone.
Ria: “It’s fine. We expected this. Celia, don’t get into any trouble that Midas and Maralia cannot get you out of.” She said with a smile, giving me a small kiss, and a tight hug.
The rest of my wives all said their goodbyes, while Nia and Lia were secretly smug. They get to keep their memories of this, and they can stay with me from as well. Why wouldn’t they be smug?
I didn’t care much for helping Midas, it was just a small thing to me. Something that she just abruptly asked of me, which, after much convincing, I agreed to. In truth, I am mostly happy that all of my wives are actually alive and well. I just hope that the same goes for the rest of my family…
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
Celia: “Wow…” I say, almost stumbling to the ground.
Nia: “Though far less destructive than using part of your soul, that method still taxes your body and soul a lot. For at least a week, you should just rest, Celia.” She said with a caring tone after catching me.
Helping me back inside of the estate, the two briefed me on what has happened lately. Which, wasn’t that much at all. The last one to wake up was Lia, but that was only just a week ago. June was the first one to wake up, and she did only two weeks ago…
These estates were very luxurious, and, if you wanted to buy one, it would cost you 585,000 SIPs. But why would you waste so many SIPs, especially when it is just for housing in a temp dimension?
Due to how they messed with us, we got these estates for free. Each of them got their own estates to relax in, which includes June. She isn’t living here, as June does have her wife with her.
Celia: “You know, despite my grandstanding, I do still feel bad about this…” I say with a remorseful tone.
Nia had helped me onto the couch, and I only talked after I sat down. That method really did take a lot out of me, and I was honestly very tired right now.
Lia: “There is nothing to be remorseful for, Celia. Helping that woman out is very good for us, and you lost nothing to do so.” She replied with a coaxing.
Celia: “I promised myself that, the last woman that I would ever sleep with, who wasn’t my wife, would be Tina. So, in that sense, I had broken a promise.” I reply.
Faith: “Stop being a baby! That was nothing at all, you know. She basically just rubbed her body on you, and rather than your bodies having sex, you were just bumping souls.” She said with a lecturing tone.
Ah, the lewd fairy in my head still exists, huh? I find it kinda weird how no one has noticed her yet. I did mention her to June, but Faith was able to muddle those memories of hers, so I am still safe from Sava. Oh, I am falling asleep…
