Chapter 36: Party!

(*Celia’s POV*)

Unlike most mornings, Garentia convinced me to take an actual bath. That is, rather than just using cleaning magic. She also gave me a very nice dress to wear. I have my own, but she asked me to wear the one that she bought for me.

Garentia: “Are you nervous?” She asked.

Currently, we were in her car, driving to the place for the party. It was at a very expensive looking hotel. Well, at least from what I saw on my phone about it, it was pretty expensive. And something that Garentia didn’t mention until just a few minutes ago, is that she rented the place out and the party was thrown by her.

Celia: “Not really, no. Although my dimension is a medieval one, my previous life was a modern dimension.” I reply.

Garentia: “…The more I ask questions of you, the more interested that I get.” She said with a happy sigh.

She wasn’t driving, instead, a maid drove us to the venue. It was kinda nice being able to hold full conversations with Garentia. While she drove, I didn’t want to distract her. We might be immortal, and no one in Heaven can really die, but that doesn’t mean that you should drive recklessly.

Garentia: “Your wives… what are they like?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “Let’s see… One of my wives is a normal human, who I used something to make her immortal. Her name is Lia. Nia is a Death Goddess. And my third wife is Ria. From what I know, she should be in the process of evolving into a Supreme Goddess. Ah, and make no mistake, Ria is miles more powerful than me.” I explain with a thinking pose.

Garentia: “Is she more powerful than I am?” She asked with a pride expression.

Looking at Garentia, I had been rewarded with the amazing task of telling her the bad news… I can’t peek at her Status, but I could tell that even though she is a Creator, Ria is still more powerful than her. Which, if anything, just makes me more surprised at Ria’s strength…

Celia: “Actually, she is more powerful than you. She only remained as a Goddess because she didn’t care about evolving before meeting me. Even you yourself, a Creator, aren‘t as strong as she is.” I honestly reply.

Garentia: “…”

Shit! I know that look… Her eyes darkened, and it looks like I’ve set up Ria for a confrontation by Garentia… Ah, why must my cute wives fight over me? Damn… when did I become a narcissist?…

Garentia: “Celia, we’re here.” She informed.

She helped me out of the car, and I was welcomed by a hoard of people taking pictures of us. Oddly, we walked along a red carpet. Luckily, the media were blocked by guards and those rope barricade things.

Once inside, I was blown away. Regardless of how long ago Garentia changed her mind, this is kinda crazy… Fucking hell… This might be even more extravagant than Yona’s castle…

As this was a city for women and women alone, there weren’t any men in sight. Instead, the place was filled with various beauties. All of them seemed to stare at Garentia. Their gazes were ones of longing, while when they looked at me, they looked as if they wanted my head on a pike…

Garentia: “Don’t be scared by anyone, I will protect you.” She said before grabbing and holding my hand, taking me further into the venue.

Celia: “I am not scared, don’t worry. In this place, I am pretty sure that you and me are the strongest around.” I reply with a laugh.

Garentia: “Hm… I guess so. Though, I don’t know if you can fight.” She replied.

Celia: “I can! Seriously… the amount of things that I’ve killed…” I reply.

Garentia: “Celia, what is your domain?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “I am a Supreme Goddess of Lesbian Love, why do you ask?” I reply with a head tilt.

Garentia: “…”

Celia: “?”

Garentia: “Don’t mention that around Angels, they will go somewhat crazy.” She advised.

Celia: “Oh, I am well aware of that, don’t worry.” I reply with a giggle.

Garentia took me around the venue, introducing me to various people. Some seemed to be happy for me, while others clearly hated my guts. Prior to Garentia taking over Heaven, it was a very peaceful place. But, now it seems to have become more like a modern society.

And with all of the annoyances such a society comes with. Like, what the heck? I guess that it is what happens when you try to remake a modern society. Garentia probably didn’t experience much of Heaven’s original society, so she couldn’t recreate it.

Garentia: “Having fun?” She asked with a smile.

Both Garentia and I took to a quiet corner to relax in. Everyone around us took the hint, so it was just us, and no one came to strike up a conversation. Well, this was an event made by Garentia, so it would be a bad idea to piss her off.

Celia: “Hm… Not really? A decent portion of the people here want to kill me, while the other half are plastic people who wished us happiness, but were clearly faking it. There is only a small portion of people who were sincere.” I reply with a thinking pose.

Garentia: “Right. They aren’t aware that you’re a Supreme Goddess, so you can easily tell when someone is lying or not.” She replied with a chuckle.

Celia: “And what of you? Are you having fun?” I ask with a curious tone.

Garentia: “Truly? Anywhere I am with you is fun to me. My domain is slaves, so you wouldn’t think that I’d ever want to marry someone, rather than keep them as my pets. But the thing about domains is that they sometimes change.” She answered.

Celia: “Your domain changed?” I reply with a shocked tone.

Garentia: “Yes. Or rather, it is gone. After… I don’t really remember how long, I got bored of having slaves. So far, I haven’t gotten a new domain. But that is fine, as I have all the time in the world to find it.” She said with a wistful tone.

Celia: “And this weird society is what you made after you lost your domain? If so, what reason exactly why do you stay here in Heaven? You’re living, so you can leave if you want to.” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Garentia: “I…Well, there is a very good reason, but I can’t tell you it.” She replied, while not looking me in the eye.

Celia: “Can’t even tell your wife?” I reply with a pout.

Garentia: “Don’t you have to ask your other wives if you can marry me?” She replied to my question with another question.

Celia: “I never thought that I would have another wife… No. I don’t. I am sure that they will respect my decision. For one time in my life, I will be truly selfish, but I won’t regret it.” I answer with a smile.

Garentia: “…”

She was quiet for the rest of the event, and we soon left it behind and went back home. Oddly, Garentia said that she was going to go back to her office, but I couldn’t follow her. I agreed with a pout, and then went to bed after she left. Now then, God? Let us talk for a bit, shall we?…
