Volume 4. Chapter 94: Guinevere’s Efforts. (Chapter 395)

Chapter 94: Guinevere’s Efforts.

(Guinevere’s POV)

Ruina was now safe, and all that was left… was saving Celia. The problem was that, no one knew how to find Sava. Ruina gave us more information, as well. Saying that, among other things that she, for some reason, cannot recall, Sava made the System.

Not even God can make something like it. So, as to how Sava achieved this, we have no idea really. But such information didn’t change much, as we still only wanted to find Sava.

Her being some advanced and powerful being that could alter the universe… wasn’t something that we really cared about right now. Regardless, we were still stuck on just finding her…

God: “Okay, Gui. Are you ready for today’s shift?” She asked with a smile.

Guinevere: “Gui?” I say with a head tilt.

God: “That’s your new name, silly. You can’t deny it, either. Your family and I have already decided upon it.” She answered.

Gui: “…”

God: “Don’t give me that look… Celia’s wives’ names have all been shortened to three letters. It’s about time that you get that treatment as well.” She explained.

Gui, huh? Not that bad, I guess… Though I do feel bad about breaking the “ai” chain.

Gui: “Won’t everyone be upset that you are reviving people, and not trying to find Sava?” I ask.

God: “I cannot leave my duties undone, Gui. Even if Celia is a good friend to me.” She answered.

Gui: “If you don’t do them, the Devil will get angry, won’t she?” I reply with a confident tone.

God: “She will be angry.” She replied with a deadpan tone and expression.

The Devil takes the phrase “Ball and chain.”, to a whole new level… I wouldn’t want to be in God’s shoes, that’s for sure. That woman is crazy, I just don’t understand why God doesn’t notice…

God: “I am not reading your mind, but I get what you’re thinking. I understand that she is crazy, but I find that aspect of her to be extremely arousing.” She explained.

Gui: “…”

God: “I mean, having a woman love me so much that she would probably destroy the entire universe if I ever left her? That is arousing beyond belief.” She added.

I didn’t need you to add anymore to it, God… Whatever. I should just focus on my job.

A Year Later.

God: “Well, it took a long while, but we’re finally done, Gui.” She said with a happy tone.

Gui: “Yes, it has. It is weird to have a living body once again.” I reply.

My body was just like it was from before… Unlike being dead, my urge for blood was now strong. Specifically, I yearned for Celia’s blood. Now that I am alive, I can marry Celia. And since I look the same, I doubt that I will have any trouble with doing so.

Ria: “I wonder if there are other duties that you’ve ignored for a long time, God?” She asked.

God: “Oh, there are plenty of those. There just aren’t any that are as urgent as what Gui and I just finished doing.” She replied with a shrug.

Yona: “The secrecy behind that task is annoying, but we’re happy that Gui is now living once more.” She said with a warm tone.

Mena: “Yeah! Now, that is, once Celia is saved, you can all get married! Celia won’t be getting any more wives, after all.” She said with a wistful tone.

That’s right… We would be getting married to her all at the same time. That… oddly, I find the idea to be a very happy and exciting one. I thought that I would be upset, as it wouldn’t be a happy time for just Celia and me.

Instead, it will be even better, as all of us will wed Celia at the same time. On top of that, I never thought that I would be okay with being in a harem… It’s just good enough that Celia has such a big heart.

God: “Don’t bring up Celia… I am still no closer to finding her, even after an entire year…” She said with a sigh.

Amelie: “Luckily, all of us won’t ever be aging or dying. So we can wait until you do find her location.” She said with a smile.

Nina: “Don’t act all happy… You just want to hog Ria and Zia to yourself, Amelie.” She said with a scoff.

Amelie: “Can you really blame me? Those two know how to pleasure a woman…” She said with an embarrassed tone and expression.

Alisa: “Ew… I don’t want to hear about my mother’s sex life.” She said with a disgusted tone.

Kami: “Oh? Then I guess that you won’t be happy if I talk about our sex life, huh?” She said with a cheeky tone.

Alisa: “…”

What an odd bunch of people… How did Celia even attract all of these people into her life? It goes without saying, but most of our family, are very powerful. Ria is a Highest Goddess, after all.

I also don’t know how many of that race even exists, but it is at least less than a few hundred. They all talk about how Celia has oddly immense karmic destiny, and such a claim is hard to deny…

God: “Since none of those duties are ones that my wife will yell at me for ignoring, I can now focus solely on finding our kidnapped girl.” She informed.

Ria: “Will I be helpful in that endeavor? I don’t have anything else to do, and I have rested long enough.” She asked.

God: “I understand that you want to find Celia, but you should still relax for now. You don’t have to…” Her words were cut off.

Devil: “Dear, you need to rip the bandage off.” She advised.

God: “…”

Gui: “What do you mean?” I ask.

God: “…”

Before her arrival, the atmosphere was decently joyful. But now, it was like someone had just died. The Devil clearly wasn’t making a joke, and we all were extremely nervous to hear what she wanted to express to us…

Devil: “Fine, I will be the one to be hated… She might not show it, but God does find you all to be good friends.” She said with a sigh.

Solia: “What is it that God has been hiding from us?” She asked with a serious tone.

God: “…”

Devil: “She hasn’t been hiding anything. We just found out about it today.” She replied.

Nia: “Find out what?” She asked.

Devil: “At the latest, it will take a few hundred years to find Sava.” She admitted.

Everyone: “…”

A… a few hundred years?… What… why? How come our happiness must be stifled? Does Sava want us to suffer? The room was now silent. No one spoke, as we were all affected in the same way. Each and every one of us just wanted to see Celia again. And after so long, we must wait even longer? What bullshit…
