Chapter 56: Being a Passive Observer is Kinda Boring…
(Celia’s POV)
With the gangs destroyed, no one would dare go against Kami. In just less than a day, the entirety of the slums was under her control. The guards were all killed, and none dared to venture back into the slums.
Instead, they decided to barricade the slum dwellers within the slums, using hastily put together blockades made out of wood. It was a sorry sight to see, indeed…
Kami: “Everyone. For too long have the nobles and the royal family of Beastria undermined and mistreated us. How much longer shall we be forced to sleep in filth?” She asked to the large crowd of slum livers.
Silence.
Kami: “Your silence speaks volumes… You want out, but you are afraid of fighting? Well, too bad! We must fight so that we can live better lives!” She exclaimed.
Cheers!
Kami: “Everyone, take a weapon, and we shall march on to the royal castle, and behead the useless king and queen!” She ordered with a loud tone.
Everyone then picked up armor, swords, and shields, and got into a large line with Kami leading in the front. It was kinda odd how no one questioned her age, or where she got all of this equipment from…
The people easily tore down the barricades as if they were made out of paper. The guards were killed, and some on our side died as well. But no one even seemed to care.
Ria: “The sword I gave Kami is actually banned in almost every dimension.” She said with a laugh.
Celia: “Why do you have it!?” I exclaim in shock.
Currently, Ria was carrying me like a princess, while she followed just above Kami. Kami could hear us, but she was focusing on the rebellion right now, so she didn’t bother to chime in on our conversation.
Ria: “That’s one side of me that you aren’t aware of, Celia. I am a collector. That sword is just one of the items in my collection.” She explained.
Celia: “…”
I can easily understand why it was a banned weapon… According to Ria and Kami, mind control is a rare ability, even among higher beings. The sword that Ria gave Kami had that effect on people.

All she needed to do was speak some words, and the people fell under her spell. While controlled by the sword, their wills were practically nonexistent. They felt no pain, no fear, no thirst or hunger.
In all ways except them being dead, they were zombies. Zombies that followed Kami to their deaths. And die they did indeed. Shortly after leaving the slums, the knights were called out to stop us.
Kami: “The king and the foolish nobles think that their bootlicking knights can stop us? Everyone, show how wrong that they are to think like this!” She exclaimed with a loud tone.
The knights didn’t deter anyone, and even the middle-class citizens joined in on the fight. As such, by the time that we had made it halfway through the middle-class area, even though we had lost more than 40% of the slum members, our numbers were even higher than before. And they marched onto to the nobles district…
The Bloody March Continued.
Yawn
Celia: “…”
When was the last time that I let out a yawn that big? Good Goddess… I was like a big cat, or something…
Ria: “I seem to have failed you, Celia.” She said with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “Huh? What are you talking about?” I reply with a confused head tilt.
Ria: “I promised an entertaining downfall for this kingdom, but now you’re so bored that you are falling asleep in my arms.” She explained.
Celia: “It is entertaining to a degree, Ria. It’s just that I feel so safe and calm in your arms, which is lulling me into dreamland. Not to mention, this rebellion doesn’t really need any of my input at all.” I reply with a warm tone.
Ria: “I see… Then, for the last two kingdoms, I will make sure that you’ll have a key role to play. For now, please watch as your daughter’s wife continues to slaughter an entire kingdom.” She said with a smile.
The sounds of bones breaking, the screaming, the capital city of this kingdom was being drenched in blood. It was basically a nightmare world, like the populace was all on extreme aggression drugs.
I could hear the cries of those that didn’t get controlled by Kami’s sword. And I could see the bodies of our side, the rest of the kingdom being left to rot together. It was honestly a truly hellish sight to behold.
And yet, I couldn’t bring myself to feel any sadness or remorseful for their deaths. The people here were all horrible, and they had absolutely no place in my daughter’s envisioned new world. Of course, we could have just cut them off from Vesta and Alburn.
Which would lead them to only eventually die out slowly. In a sense, what we’re doing now is a mercy, as cruel as it sounds. If it was my dimension, I wouldn’t do something like this. I would try to find a better solution.
As wrong as it sounds, this cruelty before me isn’t a priority to me at all, or something I even care about right now. Still, my main thoughts are on finding my family members.
Kami reveled in the carnage and murder, true to her domain. Fighting alongside her mindless army, Kami was unscathed, yet still covered in blood. Kami didn’t need to fight with them, though she decided to do so regardless. With her smiling all the way, I oddly still find her to be very beautiful.
Ria: “A being that caused death and chaos wherever she went, even if she didn’t want such things to happen. And a being that loves the killing… I have to say that Kami and Alisa are a good match.” She said with a warm tone.
Celia: “A good match, huh? I guess so…” I agree.
Since she had killed so many, Kami is aware of the price and toll killing has on your soul. It was even worse for Alisa, as she didn’t wish for anything like that to happen.
Now, she doesn’t have to deal with such things. And how well she did in this dimension is proof that she is capable of great achievements. My only wish is that she continues to stay happy, even after she gets her full memories back…
