Chapter 8: Shall We Evolve?
(*Celia’s POV*)
Yeah, I figured that the gift would be a sword, but why this fucking many!? There were like thirty swords floating in the air. Surely, I won’t be getting all of these, right?
Solia: “This is my personal collection of swords. None of them is ever likely to chip, let alone break.” She said while admiring her collection.
Celia: “So, I can choose one of them?” I ask with an excited tone.
Solia: “No? One of them will choose you.” She replied with a head tilt.
Celia: “…”
I was confused, but then the swords all started to float around me. Ah, I’ve been checked out by various women, and now I have been checked out by even living swords…
After a few minutes, all of them left my side, and went back to Solia. All except one, which looked quite interesting. It was a common looking sword, yes. But it did look far better than the sword of mine that broke.
And sure, I might not know much about weapons, but this sword clearly isn’t normal. Hmm… I guess that I should use my System to confirm this?

It’s the max grade!? And what’s up with that extremely basic description?… The sword had an odd dark glow to the blade, and it frankly looked kinda evil. Though, this is fine, as the dagger that Nia gave me does something similar.
Solia: “Hmm… To think that my strongest sword would choose you… I will be missing it from now on.” She said with a giggle.
Celia: “You can take it back if you want.” I propose.
Solia: “It chose you as its new owner. My swords aren’t really alive, but they do have a will of their own. If I take it from you, it would only end badly for me.” She denied.
Celia: “That so? It’s a pretty cool sword if I am being honest. Thanks for the gift, Solia.” I say with a warm as I give her a hug.
With the gift given, she went back to train Nia. Well, she had an extra body do that, all while I laid my head down on her lap. She even gave me headpats! Ah, it is so amazing to have three amazing and caring mothers!
While I waited for Nia’s training for today to be done, I thought back to what Solia taught me. It was a little fast, but now all of my magic Skills are max level. All except time magic, as I am still banned from even attempting to use it.

Solia also taught me how to use Space magic to store, and take out things that you’ve stored. It lasted me a long time, but while waiting, I decided to dump all of the things within my pouch, into my new spatial storage.
My pouch served me well, but to get something out of it, I had to dig my hand around in it. Which took seconds, if not minutes to do. With my new storage, whatever I want to take out, just instantly appears in my hands right when I think about taking it out.
I couldn’t pass up such an upgrade, so I switched from my pouch. Granted, I still held onto it, just because it meant a lot to me. Once Nia’s training was over, I declared to them that I wanted to evolve today.
Nia: “What will you evolve into?” She asked with a curious tone.
Celia: “Can’t you just look into the future and figure out what I chose?” I ask with a head tilt.
Nia: “Nope. You clearly evolve into a higher being, so I cannot look into your future any longer.” She replied with a shrug.
Celia: “Isn’t that bad?” I ask with a serious tone.
Nia: “Not really. If necessary, I can just look into my own future. Granted, doing so would injure me somewhat. Nothing permanent, mind you.” She answered.
Solia: “Ria might be able to tell you, as that woman is beyond even my understanding.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “I’ll look at my options when we get back home. And I mean Yona’s castle. It would be the most protected place, after all.” I say with a shrug.
Solia: “I have to business to attend to, so I will meet you there.” She said before she flew away.
Nia: “Shall we head home then, Celia?” She asked.
Celia: “Of course, that is the plan.” I say with a smile, before picking her up in a princess carry.
Nia: “Celia!?” She yelled in confusion.
Celia: “What? Can I not princess carry one of my wives all the way home?” I ask with an innocent tone and expression.
Nia: “…Fine. Just do let anyone see us.” She agreed.
With a bright smile, I took off flying in the direction of Yona’s castle. Frankly, I do not even really know why we bothered to ride a carriage to the academy. Or why we have an estate at the academy.
We flew so far away from the academy, in the opposite direction of Yona’s castle. And yet, it only took us ten minutes to make it back home. I guess that Yona just likes to be thorough with everything…
I informed everyone else, including the two sick women, about my plans. It was advised for me to do it in the throne room, which was already completely repaired. Oddly, when I made it there, a nice bed was already in the room.
Hm… I guess that Ria already ratted me out? Ah, that is a reassuring nod from the woman herself. With a sigh, I got onto the bed, and opened up my available evolutions.
______________________________________________________________________________
Possible Evolutions:
Empowered Human: SS Grade.
:Requirements:
Reach Level 100. Reach Adulthood. Acquire DNA from a powerful humanoid race.
Elf: S+ Grade.
:Requirements:
Reach Level 100. Reach Adulthood. Acquire DNA from a powerful Elf.
Empowered Humanoid Demon: SS+ Grade.
:Requirements:
Reach Level 100. Reach Adulthood. Acquire DNA from a powerful demon.

Ah, there is one new option? When the hell did I acquire DNA from a demon?… Maybe Nia or Yona counts? What should I choose… Elf isn’t an option, as I haven’t even met an elf yet. Though, some are attending the academy. I just haven’t had the pleasure of meeting and talking to them.
Ruina: “Celia! Choose the Empowered Humanoid Demon!” She exclaimed.
Celia: “What are the pros and cons of it?” I ask in my head.
Ruina: “Pros: You’re only required to hit the level requirement, to evolve into a Goddess. Cons: Only one, you have to reach level 1000.” She answered.
Celia: “Then that is truly my only option.” I reply with a sigh.
Look, I know that I went from a stupid fucking cell, all the way to a human. But I wish that there was something more interesting for me to evolve into… Maybe next time?
Regardless, I told the others about my choice, and then selected it. Oddly, at first, or at least for a few minutes, nothing happened. I didn’t feel the pain as I usually do.
That didn’t last long at all, though… As I was soon in so much fucking pain! Truly, I have never felt such pain before, and I didn’t automatically pass out either. I had to beg Ria to use sleeping magic on me…
Come to think of it, I never received such magic before. Maybe it was just something that Ria could do? Who knows. And I certainly couldn’t be fucked to think about it right now. Even the magic Ria used on me, took a while to actually kick in. Though it did eventually knock me out. Now I just have to hope that I won’t be in pain tomorrow…
