Chapter 78: The Battle Begins.
(Celia’s POV)
Since we had superior… everything, June and I had made it to the chosen battlefield many hours before Charlie and his group showed up. To pass the time, I set up a tea table, and some chairs.
Then, while waiting, I drank tea with June, and ate some snacks as well. We were bored, so I willingly wasted 50 SIPs to buy a chess set for us to play with. Hey, I did say that the System Store had a lot of items, most of which I didn’t explain, right?
Charlie: “…”
Celia: “Ah, you must be Charlie. You know, your guild is quite late… Don’t you know that, even if she is a lesbian, and you’re a man, it is very bad manners to make a lady wait?” I ask with a sarcastic tone.
Charlie: “Your life is at stake… but instead of being worried, you’re playing chess, and eating snacks? That chessboard… it’s from the System Store. You wasted SIPs on it?” He replied with a shocked tone.
Behind the man, was his large army. In total, Charlie had over 5,000 men in his guild. Hmm… so, in the game, dimensions have about 5,000 men, and 5,000 females? I wonder why they went with such an even split… Ah, I don’t actually care that much.

Celia: “With how much SIPs I have… the chessboard really wasn’t a waste to buy. After all, it kept June and I entertained.” I reply with a laugh.
June: “Entertained? I am furious right now… How come, even after 10,000 games, I haven’t won once!?” She said with an angry tone.
Celia: “You didn’t even know how to do math before… Don’t feel bad.” I say with a consoling tone.
June: “…”
She was pouting, but June knew that I was right. In fact, though we played so many games, I was still teaching her how to play. I was a teacher, and a damn good one at that. As such, I knew what was wrong with June.
It wasn’t anything major, mind you. She just had a learning and focus disability. She was very likely dyslexic, had ADHD, and I wouldn’t be shocked if she was autistic to a certain extent. Thankfully, with her race, these probably will slow go away for her.
Charlie: “Are… are you two just going to sit there and let us kill you with ease?” He asked with a confused tone.
In part, June was always an interesting woman. Despite her disabilities, she had ended up as a queen, and did seem good at being one. Like I said, such problems with her brain will go away, eventually. I just have to support her through them.
Charlie: “Hey! Why aren’t you listening to me!?” He exclaimed, huffing and puffing.
Celia: “Oh? Ah, well, does one pay much attention to an ant?” I reply before taking a sip of my tea.
Charlie: “…”
Celia: “Charlie, here is your first task. Actually make us get up from our seats. We are still in the middle of a game, and June is close to winning it.” I say with a tone that he couldn’t disagree with.
June: “I am? Fuck off, Charlie. I have more important matters to attend to!” She said with an excited tone, refocusing on our chess game.
Now then… what will you do, Charlie? Can you not see how little that we think of you? Come on, use your head. We don’t seem to even care about you, and you clearly cannot look at our Statuses, as we’re far stronger than you, and do not allow you to do so. Please… be smart here. Otherwise… I will be so damn bored!
