Chapter 31: Heaven is a Place in Heaven.

(Celia’s POV)

My suggestion wasn’t without reason. Emma is a very intelligent person who would easily thrive in such a position. Not to mention her skills at fighting. And on top of that, she was now a Goddess, and could easily use magic after we taught her how to.

With this, Emma was made as the new heir, and we soon left that dimension, returning to Heaven. It was Mena and Solia’s first time here, so I decided to take them to explore around the place.

Moments of peace like this are nice, and I will not feel any grief over doing this. There are still people in my family that are missing, that I am aware of. But I cannot stop living entirely until they’re all safely back home with me.

This goes without saying, but Mena and I have lost our Nano Machines. We gave them to Emma, as she still wished to utilize them. If you’re wondering, yes. Emma did pass her tests to become a Goddess. How? God passed her on the spot. How cheaty…

Well, I guess that I somewhat cheated on my tests too. Not like that matters now. Anyway, I took Solia and Mena to do some shooting. And funnily enough, there, I met up with Guinevere by complete accident. It wasn’t like I called her here; I mean.

Celia: “Hello, Guinevere.” I say with a smile.

Guinevere: “Hello. It is good to see you again.” She said with a smile of her own.

Celia: “Likewise.” I reply.

Guinevere: “And who might these two be?” She asked.

Celia: “This is Mena, one of my daughters. And this Tia, one of my wives.” I answer, pointing to them one at a time.

Guinevere: “…”

Celia: “?”

Guinevere: “Are all of your wives beautiful? Good lord… even your daughters are cute. If Mena is anything to go by…” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Hm… I guess that I have a very strong and fond weakness for cute girls.” I reply with a laugh.

I feel like a lot of the women in my life just so happen to be very beautiful… I wonder why that is? Honestly, I haven’t seen an ugly female ever in my life. Do I happen to always end up in dimensions where only cute and beautiful women exist? The world may never know…

Tia: “You mentioned her name, so you surely know her. What is your relation?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “She is a future wife to me. Though, we probably won’t get married for a very long time.” I answer with a nonchalant tone.

Guinevere: “Oh? Not hiding me from your wife, huh? That makes me happy…” She said with a slightly confused, yet happy tone.

Celia: “I will never hide things from my family members, Guinevere.” I reply.

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

Guinevere: “A woman after my heart.” She said with a smile.

Tia: “You aren’t living… Are you trying to come back to life? Such a thing is very hard to accomplish.” She said with a thinking pose.

Guinevere: “That would be correct. And, yes. It will take many years. But my gift will be having Celia’s hand in marriage. That alone is enough for me to keep working.” She answered.

Mena: “Working? You can actually come back to life after you go to Heaven?” She asked with a curious tone.

Tia: “Only if you serve Heaven a lot. Of course, if you do not wish to return to living, you can just reincarnate. Though you will lose all of your memories and whatever power you original had access to.” She explained in Guinevere’s stead.

Mena: “That is amazing! Now I feel somewhat sad that I never passed on… But not doing so let me be adopted by Celia, so there isn’t much for me to feel sad over.” She said with a happy tone.

So cute! Just for that, I pulled Mena into a tight hug. During this slightly long hug, I made sure to rub her head and back, calling her my special little girl all the while. Mena was and is, my special little girl, you know.

Guinevere: “Celia… Not only do you seem to be the perfect wife, you’re also the perfect mother as well.” She praised with a smile.

Celia: “I do make sure to put in the effort to be a good mother, yes. My children are more than worth the effort, you see.” I reply with a smile as well.

Guinevere: “I can see that. I earnestly await the day when your children call me their mother as well.” She said with a wistful tone.

Celia: “I am sure that you do. Will you come do some shooting with us?” I propose.

Guinevere: “I would love to, but sorry. I have a very important meeting to attend, and I have already done some shooting today.” She denied with a reluctant tone.

Celia: “I understand. I will be leaving once more soon, so if you need me, please just ask someone at the estate. They could get in contact with God, who will surely help you get in contact with me.” I inform.

Guinevere: “I see. Thanks for the information.” She replied.

Guinevere started to walk away, but I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug. She seemed to be fine, but that didn’t mean Guinevere wasn’t in need of a hug. Or for me to pamper her. Here is a life lesson: Everyone loves to be pampered.

Celia: “Keep up the good work, Guinevere. I look forward to the day when we’re married.” I say after ending the hug.

Guinevere: “…I do too.” She replied with a bright smile before finally leaving.

With that, I guided Solia and Mena to a private room. We had already done a few other things in Heaven. But they both wanted to shoot some guns with me before I left once again. While I am gone, they can explore Heaven as much as they want to.

Shooting Time Later!

It was very fun to teach both Mena and Solia how to use firearms. Of course, we cheated with that information dump button. But they still needed me to teach them so that they could fully utilize the information that they received. Now, we were back in the estate that Guinevere let us borrow.

God: “You were right, Celia.” She said, standing in front of the entrance to the estate.

Celia: “Oh, so I fixed your sex life? Nice!” I reply.

God: “Yes, yes. I was a fool to not notice the signs she displayed. I will be more careful in the future. I do love her, after all.” She replied with a groan.

Celia: “If you ever reach another roadblock, just confide in me or my family. Others can easily see what you overlook, after all.” I suggest.

God: “I will keep that in mind. Now… are you ready to leave?” She asked.

Celia: “Yes.” I answer.

God: “Oh? Not even going to ask who you will be saving next? I shall inform you that what happened last time will not happen again.” She replied.

Celia: “Aw… so I have to go from one family member to the next?” I reply.

God: “That is correct. Otherwise, my entertainment would run out quickly. Anyway, next you will be saving one of your daughters, Alisa.” She informed.

Celia: “Alisa? Not that I mind, but when will I go find the rest of my wives?” I ask.

God: “They will be saved for last. Their situations being the most interesting. You finding Tia was a complete accident that I didn’t account for.” She explained.

Celia: “Okay, please send me away.” I say.

God: “Not going to say goodbye to your family?” She asked.

Celia: “If I do that, it will be far harder for me to leave.” I say with a sigh.

God: “I understand.” She replied before snapping her fingers.

The world flashed in a way that I am more than used to at this point. Weird lights, weird tunnel thingy. You should get the point of dimension travel by now. Anyway, soon it all ended, and I was faced with a new world. Why can’t it ever be simple!?
