Chapter 67: Lia’s Thoughts.

Chapter 67: Lia’s Thoughts.

*Lia’s POV*

Unlike most of our mornings together, Celia was very late to breakfast on this day. I do wonder what she was even doing, but, asking would be somewhat rude. It’s not like we’re actually dating, after all…

Though, while eating breakfast, she did seem somewhat off today. What happened to her? Did something bad happen with Hadi?… Or could she be sick!?

Ria: “Correct, Lady Lia. Celia is just sick this morning, pay it no mind.” She said in my head.

Wait… my head!? When the hell could she just beam her voice right into my head!? Oh Goddess, I surely should not upset this maid of Celia’s… What even is she? Celia also looked scared when I asked about Ria’s Status, like it was some kind of forbidden knowledge…

Regardless, breakfast was finished, so we set off to attend our classes for the day. But at the door to our… I mean, Celia’s house, we were stopped by that annoying girl…

She made an entire show about how she was a Death Goddess. I didn’t believe a single word of it, but Ria told me that she spoke the truth, and even that Ria was a Goddess as well…

No wonder she is so powerful… As she once again gloated about being married to Celia in the future, I almost blurted out the words, “What about me?” but before I could, she pulled me close to her.

She then whispered these wonderful words into my ear, “Do you want to know? Alright then. You’ll be married to her as well.” Once I heard such flowery words, I was far too embarrassed and happy, to say anything at all for a decent while…

I don’t even recall how I made it to class… Oh, today is combat class? Oh, Goddess… Please, please! Celia, do not kill the teacher! It would look so poor on your grades…

Celia doesn’t seem to be one to care about her reputation, so playing off her grades, might be the only way for me to convince her to NOT kill her teacher once more…

Celia: “Why is today combat class? I was sure that it was going to be dungeon class.” She asked the teacher with a curious tone.

Dungeon Class? Ah, right. Adventure class was renamed to that. As doing requests from the Guild, has gotten somewhat dangerous as of late. Instead of doing that, the class will instead, visit a dungeon.

Celia… she has a soft spot for cute girls, and luckily, our teacher today is quite a beautiful woman. Ah, it seems that I won’t have to worry about her killing this teacher.

Combat Teacher: “Dungeon class requires all teachers to be present. Since you kinda killed one of them, it will be a while to find a replacement.” She said with a sigh.

If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.

Orphenia: “Then, rather than combat class, shouldn’t we have done magic class instead?” She asked with a curious tone.

Ah, I completely forgot that she followed along with us… Well, at least I know that I won’t have to fight her for Celia. Besides, I already am far closer to Celia than she is.

Combat Teacher: “Miss Hadi is now the magic teacher for at least the first year of this semester. It is just unfortunate, that she is nowhere to be found at the moment.” She said with yet another sigh.

Celia: “Oops?” She said in a quiet tone.

Ah, so it was your fault, huh, Celia? You… you didn’t kill her, right? No… I think that they have a good relationship. She must have just shown Hadi her dungeon, and now Hadi is lost in her desire to constantly consume Mana Crystals to increase her power…

*Some Time Later.*

Combat class this time, was luckily uneventful. Celia got along well with the teacher… A bit too well, if I let my jealousy do the talking… Though, they seemed to get along, mostly because of how well they fight.

At a certain point, the teacher, who still hasn’t even told us her name, just told us all to practice whatever we wanted, while Celia and her fought… For the entire class! We even skipped lunch… At least I got in some good sword practice…

Orphenia: “So, shall we go get something to eat?” She asked us both.

Celia: “Sure, I know a good place. Even better, we can eat for free!” She said with an excited expression. Cute!…

Lia: “I guess that I shall try something else from the menu this time.” I say with a thinking pose.

Currently, we were walking around campus, or rather, our destination is the carriage parking area. Knowing Ria, she probably already knows that we plan to eat out…

Celia: “Orphenia, there is a lot of food to choose from where we’re going.” She said with a smile.

Orphenia: “Call me Nia.” She said with a smile.

Celia: “Nia? Why?” She asked with a head tilt.

Lia: “…”

Orphenia: “Because you have Ria and Lia, shouldn’t you also have a Nia?” She said with a cheeky tone.

And what does she mean by that? Isn’t Ria just Celia’s maid!? Wait… are they actually together, or something?…

Celia: “Hm… I guess that makes sense. Very well, I shall call you Nia from now on.” She said with a nod.

How does that make any sense at all!? Nia, Ria, and me, Lia? Are we a part of a cult, or something!? Ah, my head hurts so much… And my heart does as well…

Nia: “Hurray!” She said with a happy tone.

Damn… that happy look on her face isn’t fake at all… Why would she be so happy about being with Celia? I mean, yeah, she is amazing, but, she only saw a future where they were together. Apart from that, they don’t have any connections to each other…

Yooni: “Silly girl, there is no need to fret over this. Celia seems to be somewhat wise, so eventually, you’ll end up with her. She does seem to like you, after all.” She said with a serious tone but followed it up with a yawn.

Why the heck did you decide to only show up now!? Ah, wait… sorry. She already went back to sleep… This must be one of those days where Yooni has to sleep, for some unknown reason that she hasn’t told me yet…

While I was lost in thought, something happened… Celia hugged me! At first, I was quite happy, but then I realized why she hugged me… She used her back to block a sword from slashing me… In my rage, I shot an ice spear at the one who hurt my love, killing them instantly, by destroying their head.

Celia got out her sword, and as you would expect from a Death Goddess, Nia took out an evil looking scythe. I think that we have a pretty good chance of winning against whoever the hell these people are, but there is a decent number of them…

Whatever! I am still pissed off that Celia got hurt, all because I was lost in my jealous thoughts! I don’t care whoever these people are, I am going to kill them all, just out of petty spite! For the first time in my life, I shall take the lives of others, not to protect myself, but to get petty revenge… Love truly makes people crazy, huh?…
