Chapter 47 Literally Kidnapped!

(*Celia’s POV*)

A child’s body isn’t fit for waking up in the morning. As such, when I woke up, I sat up in my bed completely groggy. Once I yawned three times, I realized that I was in a very nice bed, and not the tent that I went to sleep in last night…

Shit… I was right! Victoria totally followed me in secret! Oh, well. Looking around, I pretend to ignore the fact that Victoria might be invisible and watching me at the moment. This was a very fancy looking room…

The bed was soft. So soft that I am very tempted to go right back to sleep… Unfortunately, there was a knock at my door.

Maid: “Lady Celia, may I come in?” She asked.

Celia: “Yes.” I reply.

Maid: “Good morning, Lady Celia. Would you like to take a bath or eat breakfast first?” She asked.

Celia: “Bath first, please.” I reply.

Maid: “Very well, then please follow me, Lady Celia.” She said with a bow.

Getting up from the bed, I realized that I was now wearing a very soft nightgown. It wasn’t as high quality as the clothes from my dimension, but they were very high quality. Probably the highest quality that you can get in this world…

Pretending to be okay with the situation, I followed the maid to the bath. Once in, she offered to help wash my body, to which I agreed. Her hands didn’t wander anywhere, so she wasn’t a pervert. Which is good. While I soaked in the bath, the maid watched over me.

Penni: “Are you not nervous about this situation, Lady Celia? Ah, pardon me, I haven’t introduced myself. My name is Penni.” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “Nice to meet you, Penni. And no. I am not nervous. Victoria took me here, right? As far as I am aware, she needs me for some reason.” I answer in a nonchalant tone.

Penni: “You’re a pretty perceptive child, Lady Celia.” She said with a giggle.

Celia: “I would prefer if you didn’t treat me like a child, Penni.” I say with a sigh.

Penni: “And why is that?” She asked.

Celia: “Your little questions to try to get me to slip up won’t work, Penni. Though, if you must know, then please be aware that I am a reincarnater. A mind of an adult, but the body of a child. That kind of thing.” I explain.

Penni: “…”

Was she that surprised that I would admit this? Victoria isn’t a normal person at all, and neither am I. She has a use for me, and I have a use for her. Rather than beat around the bush and waste time hiding my identity, I would prefer to get work done.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Celia: “Is Victoria here? No. I know that she is. Victoria, don’t you think that it is a little perverted to spy on a little girl bathing?” I ask with a cheeky tone.

Penni: “…She isn’t…” Her words were cut off.

Victoria: “I had no ill intentions, Celia. Please do not think me a pervert. This was just a way to secretly get to know you.” She said with a laugh.

Celia: “Get to know me, huh? Alright then, let us talk about our goals at breakfast.” I proposed.

Victoria: “Sounds good. I’ll leave you to your bath.” She said before leaving the bathroom.

After spending another ten minutes in the bath, Penni eventually snapped out of her daze and helped me get dressed. I was a little annoyed… Why the fuck would you put in a Gothic Lolita dress!? Looking at the mirror, at least I look cute in it…

Penni guided me to the dining room, where Victoria was waiting for me. Sitting down next to her, she suggested that I should eat a bit first. Considering that my only food yesterday was that shitty bread and jerky, once the nice and good smelling steak was placed in front of me, I almost forgot about Victoria all together.

Victoria: “Now that you’ve had a good meal, what do you want to do, Celia?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “I need to explain something kinda hard to believe. Will you listen? To show that I am telling the truth, I know that you’re actually a demon. I know because I have something called a System, which allows me to get details on everything. Which is why you felt like I peered into your soul.” I reply with a serious tone.

Victoria: “…Go on.” She replied.

Where do I even start?…

*Hours Later.*

The talk lasted a long time, so we ended up going to a different room to have it. After a few hours, I was able to tell Victoria a lot. Just things that she needed to know about my situation. Such as me needing to find my mother, and how I used to be a Supreme Goddess.

Victoria: “I’m sorry…” She said with a remorseful tone.

Celia: “Huh?” I reply with a head tilt.

Victoria: “Being treated like a toy by some higher being… It must be very vexing, I am sure. That Creator… she is watching us now, right?” She asked.

Celia: “I would say so, yes. Apparently, she finds me very entertaining.” I say with an annoyed sigh.

Victoria: “…”

I understand that reaction. Believing in higher beings is fine for most people, but to know that they truly exist is a shocking revelation. Let alone realizing that the being that rules your dimension is someone that is doing it just for entertainment.

Celia: “…For what reason did you bring me here, Victoria?” I ask with a curious tone.

Victoria: “Well, it isn’t as grand as your goals, Celia… Basically, I want to take over the kingdom of Coltern, so that I can have a foothold on the world. Once I get that foothold, then I will slowly take over the rest of this continent.” She explained.

Celia: “That doesn’t sound that grand, you’re right. I have taken over many kingdoms before… Will this be by force, or will you say that I am a lost princess of this kingdom, and then rule the kingdom in the background?” I ask with a thinking pose.

Victoria: “…”

Damn… I apparently hit the nail on the head. What a stupid fucking metaphor that is… But, yeah. From Victoria’s reaction, that was most likely her actual plan. Which is funny, since I instantly figured it out very easily, haha.

Victoria: “Will that even be needed?” She asked with an unsure tone.

Celia: “Unlike my original form, I am literally just a weak human child now. Really, I can’t do much, and I don’t know how long it would take for me to get even one percent of my power back…” I say with a sigh.

Victoria: “Just a child? It must be even more vexing to lose your powers like this.” She said with a sigh of her own.

Celia: “It is, but I’ll get over it. I have many other family members that woman has taken from me. So I need to get used to becoming worthless each time I go to a different dimension to find them.” I reply.

The rest of the chat was figuring out how we should go about me taking over Coltern. Luckily, my hair and eyes were just the right colors to make me look like a member of the royal family of Coltern. Which is too much of a coincidence…

Clearly, the Creator is more involved in this situation than I originally thought that she would be. Though, she did say that this game would be the easiest one. Damn… I am going to kill the shit out of her when I get the chance to!!!
