Chapter 60: A Very Large Bloodbath…
(Celia’s POV)
While exploring Alburn and Beastria, I had assumed that the count of how many people were alive was actually wrong. Standing before almost a million seemingly feral humans, it made me realize that the number was most likely correct.
They didn’t approach me, but were clearly curious about me, and why that I had came here. Soon, someone who looked to be the leader showed up, and he walked toward me.
Feral Leader: “What is your purpose here? This land only cares for violence and strength, not a place for any sane person.” He asked.
Celia: “Oh, I have actually come here to kill you all.” I answer with a nonchalant tone.
Feral Leader: “To… you will kill us all?” He repeated.
I expected him to prepare an attack, or order his people to attack me, but that didn’t happen. Instead, they all got on their knees, and seemed to pray to… something.
Feral Leader: “Oh, we’re blessed on this day! Our destruction is here… Finally, we can rest!” He said with happy tears falling down his face.
Celia: “…”
Feral Leader: “Of course, we must engage in one last fight. Scion of destruction, we’re happy about your arrival to end us, but we will not go down easily. Please fight us without holding back, or feeling any remorse!” He pleaded, taking out his makeshift sword and facing me with it.
Celia: “???”
Looking up at Kami, she was confused, and Ria gave me a shrug, indicating that not even she expected this outcome. Since when did I end up becoming foretold in some creepy prophecy?…
Regardless of why I ended up in this situation, it was obvious that I needed to fight. Ria tossed down a sword to me, and I quickly drew and attacked the leader.
He blocked the attack, but my strength was too much for his sword. That sword of his broke in half, and he was slashed by mine. Rather than get angry, he looked very happy, and he then attacked me with his fist.
Slash!
I cut him in half, and both new separated pieces of his body fell to the ground. There was a pleasant smile on his face, which seemed to imply that, to him and his people, this world was Hell, and death was the only way out of it.
Which is very, very sad, as all of these people will actually end up going to Hell once I kill them. But they weren’t aware of this fact, and they all cheered for me after I killed their leader.
Like it was some grand party, they all took out their weapons and started to fight me. The glee in their expressions was somewhat unnerving, but I didn’t let it affect my mood or focus on fighting them off.

Many Murders Later.
How did such a savage civilization even exist for so long? The evidence was already before me. They took the philosophy of kill or be killed to the absolute extreme. Once I kill one, I would still be fighting them, but those that were free would indulge in eating their fallen comrades.
How culty… I couldn’t even feel a hint of remorse for killing them. These people were pure savages, without any redeeming qualities at all. In reality, they weren’t much better than zombies would be…
Cut!
While the fighting continued, the free savages took to setting up more fires, all to just cook the ones that I had killed. In a sense, this isn’t actually completely wrong.
In this world, killing all creatures, including humans, does make you far more powerful. But the problem comes with how they eat other humans. This did nothing for them, and it was a disgusting sight to behold.
I had heard about this place from Alisa, who said that she had no idea why such a horrible society even sprung up in this new world of hers. Like me, these people were outliers.
Stab!
Impaling the head of a savage, I pulled my sword out, and tried to not mind the expression of pure blessed painted on his face. They made a fucking death cult, huh?
Really odd to see something like this in a fantasy world, but perhaps it is a holdover from before the world was changed by Alisa’s hands? It is hard to say, but I don’t need the answer, nor do I really care. All of them will die soon, I will make sure of it.
A Day Later.
The ground was completely soaked with blood and gore, and unlike that city, there weren’t any buildings or things to hide such horrible sights. Luckily, I was already more than used to these sights and smells.
In the end, their corrupted society was now dead and gone, all killed by me. I didn’t even get Kami or Ria’s help on this murder spree, either. Maybe I am just too good at fighting, but there wasn’t a single mark on me.
And I was perfectly clean, as well. Of course, I did get blood and human gore parts on me and my clothes. Ria would just clean me off, though. So I was clean as can be, and so was my sword.
Kami: “Celia, I must offer you an apology.” She said after landing next to me.
Celia: “An apology? For what, exactly?” I reply with a head tilt.
Kami: “I had certainly underestimated your skill and power, thus belittling you. It wasn’t my intention, but it was wrong, regardless. And that I am sorry for that.” She admitted with a remorseful tone and expression.
Celia: “Eh, it’s fine, I do not mind at all. Besides showing my love, I tend not to care about proving things to people or my family.” I reply with a giggle.
Ria: “That’s true, Kami. As her new mother, you should get used to antics and her odd way of life.” She said with a laugh of her own.
Kami: “Ria… if the rest of Celia’s wives are anything like you are, I am afraid for her safety and sanity.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “Ria is the most extreme of my wives, so there isn’t anything to worry about.” I say with a confident tone.
Ria: “That’s what she says, but Lia and Nia, including me, have talked about how we should keep you under lock and key, Celia.” She said without needing to do so.
Celia: “…”
Kami: “…”
Ria: “Of course, the conversation would always end up with us deciding that it is better for you to be free, even if it hurts to see you in pain or sadness.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “You weren’t joking when you said that all of my wives were yanderes?” I ask with an unsure tone.
Ria: “I wasn’t joking at all about that, Celia. It’s just too bad that you seem to attract so many of them…” She said with a sigh.
Kami: “To be fair to her, Celia just attracts higher beings in general. And most of them tend to be very obsessive over the one that they love.” She said while rubbing my head.
Ria: “Well, being a little obsessive is needed if you want your relationship to last for more than a few thousand years.” She replied with a thinking pose.
Celia: “…”
Should I be worried that all of my wives are yanderes? Besides talking behind my back about crazy things, I haven’t had any problems with them. Eh, if there aren’t any problems, and each of them maintains their sanity, it should be fine. These are the words that I chose to delude myself to maintain my own sanity…
