Chapter 8: Finally, Training.

(Celia’s POV)

Thankfully, I have finally waited long enough for that water to be done working its magic. Of course, I just have to ignore how this took over two more months to finish doing its thing… Ahh! No anger, only work.

Celia: “Okay, we can train now, right?” I ask, practically pleading.

Sava: “We can, yes. But what do you want to do first?” She asked.

Celia: “What do you mean?” I reply with a head tilt.

Sava: “First, we can level you up, or we can focus on you learning how to cut people loose from a Will’s control.” She explained in reply.

Celia: “Oh, but what exactly is a Will’s control?” I reply.

Sava: “Some of your family were being controlled, but only the weaker ones. I had helped them be cut loose, but most of your family has some strings attached to them, that only you can cut.” She answered.

Celia: “…”

Some of my family members are being controlled!? Fuck training, I need to learn how to screw over that Will, asap! As such, I asked Sava to teach me how to do that cutting method thingy. Which… had us have to go to… nowhere. Sava just created a monster, and put it under her control.

Sava: “This monster is mine. It’s actions are controlled by me, but it doesn’t even realize it. Of course, it is somewhat independent, but I can make it do anything that I want it to do.” She said, making the four-legged monster dance around.

Celia: “Uh… doesn’t that monster walk on four legs? How is it dancing around like a person…” I nervously ask.

Sava: “My control is absolute. Even if the action is painful, those under my control must follow my whims. And this is me, not even really a Will, just an outlier who owns a universe. The Will of our original universe has far more power. In truth, they do have some restraint, but you shouldn’t feel for them in the least.” She explained with a serious tone.

Celia: “…”

Sava: “Though, do not worry much. Those weak to the Will’s control, I have already cut loose. As I have said, there are some strings on your family members, but the control is minimal at best. They aren’t controlled to the point where I have to risk upsetting the Will to release them, I mean.” She said with a reassuring tone.

She sounds so confident, but my mind is still not happy. All this time, some of my family members were being controlled? It makes me wonder… what has that Will made them that goes against their intentions? Basically, I am pissed off right now.

Celia: “Who exactly has a Will’s string on them?” I ask with a serious tone.

Sava: “The Will of our universe is very invested in you, Celia. When we get back, you will see for yourself. I won’t say, as I wish for you to be angry. To see how the Will is interfering with your life in a completely hidden way.” She refused to answer.

Celia: “…”

Sava: “For a short moment, Ria was able to see the strings, but it wasn’t a permanent thing for her. I am very curious, or rather, very hopeful, that you’ll be able to not only see the strings, but to be able to cut them as well.” She said with a motherly tone.

Celia: “I don’t see any strings, Sava.” I inform.

Sava: “Of course not! You haven’t been taught how to see them, silly.” She said with a giggle.

Taking my hand, I could then see the… angelic strings of Sava’s, which were attached to the monster. The realization that… they really were strings, like a puppet, sent shivers down my spine. My family members are being controlled like puppets…

Releasing her grip, the stings vanished from my vision. Though I cannot see them, they’re still there, right? How utterly and absolutely infuriating to the highest degree. I must learn this skill, and put learning it over all other tasks.

Sava: “Eventually, the more and more I let you look at the strings, you’ll be able to perceive them with ease.” She said with a confident tone.

Celia: “How long will it take to learn how to see those strings without your help?” I ask.

Sava: “I have no idea. This was a skill that was given to me the moment that I created my own universe. To teach it… I don’t know if anyone else has managed to do such a thing…” She replied with an unsure tone.

Celia: “…”

Sava: “But considering how Ria saw the strings, and how you can see them with a little bit of my help, I think it should be possible to learn. Work hard, and you’ll be able to learn this skill, trust me.” She said with a bright smile.

Celia: “Alright, please guide me well, Mom.” I reply with a smile of my own.

Weeks Later.

Like before, I had to spend more days not actually training my strength. Instead, it was me learning how to see those damn evil strings. Regardless of how many times it took, Sava didn’t complain about grabbing my hand to let me see them again.

Over and over again, I tried to learn this skill. I forwent food, and just focused on this one task fully. I saw it as so very important to me. For a very long time, I didn’t even realize that my family was being manipulated invisibly. Ria’s crimes don’t even come close to what that horrible Will has done to us…

Luckily, after doing this… probably over a million times, I was able to see the strings without Sava’s help. Since she didn’t have to help me, Sava showed me how she could control the monster. It was utterly horrifying, to say the least…

Sava: “Due to what that Will has done to me, I must follow along with its rules to not be erased. Of course, being erased isn’t something that it can easily do to me with my current power. But I prefer to not rock the boat and upset it. Even raping all those people… didn’t feel as horrible as making this soulless monster move and do as I please.” She said with a sour tone.

Celia: “Yeah, it does look horrible indeed.” I agree with a nod.

Sava: “Now that you can see the strings…” I cut her words off.

Celia: “We can start out training, right?” I say with an excited tone.

Sava: “No, no, silly girl.” She denied.

Celia: “Why not?” I reply with a pout.

Sava: “Seeing the strings is one thing, dear. But what is the point of seeing them, if you cannot cut the strings? That is our next task, Celia.” She answered.

Celia: “…”

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhh! I just want to train, but she is right! Dammit!!! Is this due to how easy I have had it so far in this life? My System granted me so many easy cheats and has helped me out greatly. Because of that ease, I can’t even wait for a little bit of time? Shit… I should also take this time away from my family, to learn how to not do work every second of every damn day…
