Chapter 32: On to Browner Pastures.

(Celia’s POV)

That city had nothing left for me to gain by staying in it. As such, after leaving them with a lot of food, ammo, and other supplies, I left it, and then quickly flew away.

Oddly, the System Store changes with the dimension that you end up in. For instance, you could now buy firearms and ammo, while you couldn’t do so before. Perhaps it is just for bartering, as Higher Beings have no use for such items.

Faith: “Damn… this place is truly a complete wasteland. Finding other players is a nightmare!” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “It very much is… Can’t you help me cheat a bit?” I ask with a hopeful tone.

Faith: “I can’t help you with this at all. I just have information about how the game goes, not the ongoings about it.” She denied.

Celia: “Oh? You sound like a girl who hasn’t earned another chance at imagining yourself having sex with me.” I reply with a smug joking tone.

Faith: “…Five miles to your left is a group of players. They aren’t together, and are somewhat spread out.” She quickly explained.

Celia: “( o_o)”

Faith: “This is the last time that I can do this; otherwise, I will be kicked out of the staff system that Maralia secretly gave me access to. And… this is only because I am horny, so remember that!” She pouted.

I was honestly joking with her… Once again, Faith gave me a shock. Since Faith didn’t tell me about it before, Maralia probably asked her not to do so. Again, despite me cheating a lot, they still want me to win this game with some honor…

Following her directions, I soon came across another city. But this time, it was far larger, and the walls weren’t made up of junk. Building such a place must have been a massive effort, as it is easily multiple miles long in length and size.

Celia: “How did humans make such a place?” I ask with a curious tone.

Faith: “Considering the sun and moon are alive, perhaps the sun made this place for the humans to survive?” She suggested in reply.

Celia: “Would the sun really do a thing like that? Apart from pissing off the moon, I really see no benefit to it by doing this.” I say with a thinking pose.

Faith: “Living Celestial Bodies are even more confusing than the calmest Higher Beings, Celia. It is best not to think too hard on this matter. Your first idea is probably correct, and that the sun did it just to anger the moon.” She replied with a confident tone.

Celia: “Hm… I guess that you’re right.” I say with a nod.

Faith: “Yes, yes. Your sister (wife) is always correct! Now, you go play with those players. I will be busy thinking of you in… wonderful situations!” She said with a lustful tone.

Celia: “…”

Ignoring the girl in my head, I am surprised that I haven’t met a living Celestial Body yet in this interesting second life of mine. Maybe… I can meet one in the future? Anyway, toward that overly large, apocalyptic city, I go!
