Chapter 19: I Don’t Like Fighting…

(Lia’s POV)

Once more, I was pushed away from Celia. As you would expect, such a thing, even now, still upsets me greatly. Kicking a few rocks around in anger, I soon finally calm down enough to deal with my situation.

Only 100 people are in this dimension, and 80 of them are female. Which really sucks for me. This means that I have to recruit them all. Sure, I could just kill them along with the males, but Celia would be very disappointed in me if I did so.

In this lineup, was oddly a friend of ours. Actually, rather than a friend, she was just my mother. How did she end up in the game? Perhaps, similar to what happened to Faith, Mother was also trapped in a silly situation where her time was frozen until a bit ago.

Lia: “Mom, it is good to see you.” I say with a smile.

Taina: “Lia? You look so… different, yet the same. Like I expected, it has been a long time, hasn’t it?” She asked, bringing me into a hug.

Lia: “At the minimum, it has been at least 500 years since I’ve last seen you, Mother.” I explained.

The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

Taina: “So long… And what about Celia? Are you still with her?” She asked with a motherly tone.

Lia: “I have been with her for a long time, Mom. And that isn’t ever going to change. I love her, and she loves me.” I answer with a warm smile.

Prior to meeting Celia, I had a lot of responsibilities, and I needed to use my head a lot. With her, I don’t typically have to fight, nor do I have to think about difficult things from time to time.

But, if my INT Stat is anything to go on, I am very intelligent. Which is why that… I have a feeling that the game itself… was what destroyed our original dimension. Ria said it wasn’t her, and she didn’t figure out who did it.

We assumed that it was the Will of our universe, but what if it was the game that actually did it? This very though terrifies me to no end. Our dimension being destroyed greatly impacted Celia’s life.

It changed her for the better, and let her become so powerful. After leaving that dimension, our family only grew larger and stronger. Was, like the thing that Celia always hates, the game had intervened in our lives, and got us to this current future?…

Taina: “My Dear… to let you win the game, I am more than willing to let you kill me.” She said with a serious tone.

Lia: “Kill? There is no need for that. Just join our guild. If you wish, you can go to a safe universe, or stay in the game with us.” I deny.

Taina: “Stay in the game? But… I would just slow you all down. I can tell that, right now, you’re very powerful.” She said with a reluctant tone.

Lia: “You can be strong as well. Just eat these Level Up Crystals. Though, do that after you join.” I explain.

I handed her a space storage bag, which had a bunch of those crystals in it. Then, once she joined, she vanished. Using my brain, my Mother probably got sent to the next rest dimension. Now then… I should deal with this situation already, as I would like to return to Celia’s side.
