Chapter 57: Finding the Two Players.
(Celia’s POV)
It didn’t take long to reach Lem, and I went searching for those two players right away. The first was… I’ll leave her for last. The second one was almost dead, and as I much preferred going after her, and how she was practically dying, I went after her first.
Finding the girl with missing limbs, and covered in blood while being torn apart by overly large wolfs, I was kinda distraught. Such a sight is only really brutal to me… when it is a woman who ends up like this.
Swat!
Since they were just hunting some prey, and not really doing anything evil, I just knocked the wolves away. Again, they were just animals, so I don’t bear any ill will toward them at all.
Though they were animals, they knew not to pick a fight with someone like me. So they all quickly left, and I only had to kick two of them away. Walking over to the woman, she was on death’s door already.
Iri: “Are you Death, here to reap my soul?” She asked, somewhat not fully aware of things, spitting up some blood in the process.
While the girl was clearly venting and a little silly from being so close to dying, I poured some liquid down her throat. Seeing that it was a Health Potion, the woman didn’t resist, and drank it with gusto. The potion was the overpowered System Store item one, so the woman had made a full recovery.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Iri: “…What is that potion? It even refills itself…” She asked with a shocked tone.
Celia: “It’s a System Shop item. And an expensive one, at that.” I answer.
I could have used healing magic on her, but this potion was actually far more effective. Regardless of how powerful you are, healing magic can never give people back blood that they lost. You’d have to use divinity to do so, and not many Higher Beings would be willing to do that.
Iri: “A System Store item? Makes sense… My name is Iri, what would your name happen to be?” She asked.
Celia: “Celia, and I am the leader for the guild, The United Lesbians Under Celia.” I explain.
Iri: “That powerful guild, which is the top ranked one by miles? I briefly saw it in the guild ranking a few hours ago…” She replied with a raised eyebrow.
Celia: “The exact one. I promise that I am not a scammer. Here, look at my Status.” I say, showing her my Status.
Iri: “…”
Like so many times before, this trick always… uh… did the trick. While she was recovering from seeing my Status, I shoved some level up crystals down her throat, and also handed her the bribe items.
Iri was unlucky, spawning not that long ago, and ending up in this forest. She wasn’t even a beast person, either, but a human. She was also just level 1… Ah, how sad.
Celia: “Shall I teleport you back to our current base?” I suggest.
Iri: “You can do that?” She replied.
Celia: “There is a function where you can set a base for your guild, and members can teleport to it for free. It is currently set to my estate, and there are maids there that can pamper you.” I explain in reply.
Iri: “And… how long can I stay there for?” She asked.
Celia: “For as long as you wish. With those Level Up Crystals, you can evolve to a Supreme Goddess. Just nest in my estate for a while, and once you’re powerful enough, you can do as you please.” I answer with a nod.
Iri quickly agreed with my suggestion. I then sent her to my estate, and finally, though reluctantly, I went after the last player of this kingdom. Yes, I know that I didn’t do that with Jessica. I only figured out this feature while I was flying here, since I was very bored…
