Chapter 43: Freezer? I Hardly Know Her!

(*Celia’s POV*)

Standing at the bottom of the demon corpse pile, was a very beautiful raven haired woman. The woman’s arms were crossed, but the look on her face was one of bliss. Basically, she was giving me the eyes. You know, she is giving me the look that you would give to someone that you’re attracted to.

Sorry, beautiful lady, I am already lovingly married to three beautiful women. Thankfully, I know that she isn’t giving me that look because she wants to do me. Rather, she truly wants to fight me. At least, that is the main vibe I am getting from her.

I jumped down from the pile, and landed right next to her. She just kept staring at me the entire time? Do you want me sexually, or do you want to kill me? I am getting mixed signals here…

Celia: “You know, I truly cannot tell if you want to have sex with me, or kill me. What are your intentions?” I ask with a curious tone.

Woman: “Frankly, I haven’t quite decided yet. Are you up for either of those two options?” She asked back.

Celia: “I am married to three beautiful women already, so I will have to skip out on the sex. As for fighting, I prefer not to.” I reply.

Woman: “Why don’t you want to fight me? Am I not good enough for you?” She asked with a sad expression.

Celia: “I’d rather not fight a beautiful woman if I do not have to.” I answer.

Woman: “Fine… I agree with your opinion, anyway. If you were a man, I would have just fought, raped, and then killed you.” She replied with a sigh.

Oh… Good, I guess? No, wait. This is actually really good. Despite her appearance, this woman was insanely powerful. Not on the same level as Gru, but still very strong. I don’t know if I could win in a fight against her…

Velta: “That is one of the reasons why you ended up in Hell, Areka.” She said with a sigh.

Areka: “Mother!? Why’re you trapped in that ring? Don’t worry, I’ll save you!” She exclaimed before she thrusted a fist at me.

Oddly, I was able to block her attack. But goddamn! It hurt to do so. If I used any other sword, it would have shattered into pieces! Solia, you’re an amazing mother as well! I need to tell her this when I get back…

Velta: “You bone headed fool! Celia is helping me escape this place!” She yelled.

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

Areka: “Ah… Sorry about that um… Celia, is your name right? Anyway, sorry about attacking you.” She said with a remorseful tone.

Celia: “It’s okay, I guess. Velta, please do not tell me that I am going to meet all of your daughters here…” I say with a sigh.

Velta: “Besides your lovely wife, Ria, the rest of my daughters are in Hell. Now, whether you will run into them all, I have no idea.” She replied.

Areka: “Ria is your wife!? No wonder I can smell her on you.” She said with a shocked tone.

Celia: “Velta, why are all of your children, besides Ria, in Hell?” I ask with a curious tone.

Areka: “I’ll explain it for you. You’re pretty young, but did you know that there was once a great war between higher beings that almost ended this world?” She asked.

Celia: “Yeah, I was there, in my past life. Ria said that she didn’t really participate in the war, though?” I reply to her question with my own question.

Velta: “She didn’t. But my daughters and I did. We ended up doing things that all of us regret. Luckily, Ria showed up to deal with us. She killed us, yes. But it was for the better.” She explained.

Areka: “Yeah, suffering in Hell gave me plenty of time to repent for my actions. Hey, hey, Celia? Could you save me too?” She asked with an excited tone.

Huh?… Please do not tell me that I will end up saving Ria’s entire family… Actually, wait. If I do, then won’t she love me more? Oh, shit… I have to save her entire family! Ria, I found one of your sisters. Do you want me to save her as well?

Ria: “Knowing you, you’ll end up saving my entire family. I put enough sealing rings in your inventory, just in case. Please save them all. Yes, they did horrible things, but they have repented long enough at this point.” She asked.

With a sigh, I took out another sealing ring, and sealed Areka inside of it. Unlike the other ring, it seemed that this one made Areka go to sleep. She didn’t talk, like Velta does. Is it a different ring, or is there some other reason?

Velta: “I was living in somewhat peace and quiet. My daughters haven’t, so their souls are far weaker than mine. Which is the reason why I can speak to you, and they aren’t able to.” She explained my unasked question.

Ah, I see. Well, with that done, I guess that I should go find a city of some kind. I hope that it won’t be as hard to find as the last one…

*A Bad Time Later.*

That wasn’t particularly fun… So, to get access to the city on this layer, you have to do a challenge. What kind of challenge? Of course, the kind where you murder a bunch of shit. Okay, it wasn’t a real challenge issued by the city.

This city doesn’t protect against demons at all! Well, it sorta does, I guess? That is to say, the inside and around the entrance is. But unlike the last layer, a huge area around the city isn’t protected by any wards at all.

So the challenge is actually getting into the city. The obstacles are the various demons all chilling out around the city. Stupidly, because of Velta, even if I went invisible, they could still tell where I was. And I was fresh meat, with a living body.

And, of course, all of the demons banded together to kill me. This goes without saying, but now the outside of the city is filled with demon corpses. I think that I killed around a few thousand of them. Most of them were even weaker than the ones from before, but there were a few strong ones.

I am going to LOVE seeing how many levels I get from this little trip into Hell. My bet is that I will gain at least a few hundred levels once I am done with this place. While fighting, the citizens of the city all cheered me on.

With a bright smile, I triumphantly walked into the city. Tons of people offered me some of their Sin points, but I declined, as I have no use for them at all. Now, I just have to find a damn guide to get out of this layer. Let’s just hope that I will find one faster than it took me to find Yeeva…
