Chapter 19: Unexpected Reunion.
(*Celia’s POV*)
Mika and Sia were chained to the wall of their cell. Why the fuck!? This isn’t even their goddamn dimension in the first place… I’m not going crazy, right?…
Ruina: “I just checked their souls, it is actually them in the flesh.” She said with a confused tone.
Okay, Ruina confirmed that they’re who I think that they’re… But why and how did they even end up in this place? Ah, there must be an interesting story behind this…
Sia: “Um… Miss? We haven’t seen you around, could you let us out by any chance?” She asked with an unsure tone.
Celia: “Sia… Mika… I don’t know if you two are really lucky, or unlucky.” I say with a sigh.
Mika: “Huh? How do you know our names!? We haven’t told anyone in this dimension them yet…” She said with a confused expression.
Celia: “Are you two good? I swore that I showed you two what my body looks like before I left. Have you forgotten your holy savior, Celia?” I say with a joking tone.
Before they could reply, I broke the cell door, and also broke them free of their shackles. Their hands and knees were a little roughed up, so I used healing magic on them.
Sia: “Celia… is it really you?” She asked with an unsure tone.
Celia: “You truly don’t remember how I look?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Mika: ”Celia, to be fair, it’s been ten years since we last seen you.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “Ten years? For me, it’s only been a few days.” I say with a confused expression.
Sia: “That Goddess said that her connection to you was there, but weak, so she had not only send us to your dimension, but also in the past. Or rather, the closest you that she knew of.” She explained.
Celia: “So it was her doing… but why come here?” I ask with a curious tone.
Mika: “It’s… it’s a very long story.” She said.
The two girls then explained what happened to them. Or rather, to their world. Basically, a higher being got in a fight with that Goddess. While fighting, another higher being spread an undead virus all across their world.
Stolen story; please report.
By the time the Goddess realized this, it was already too late. She wasn’t as powerful as Ria, so sending her two favorite humans to a random dimension, would be her only option. But it wasn’t an option that she wanted to go with.
Luckily, she still had some connection to my soul, so she was able to send Sia and Mika here instead of a random dimension. That was a far better choice, in my opinion. But it is absolutely lucky that I managed to find them so soon. According to them, they have only been in this dimension for a few days.
Mika: “Hey, Celia, why are you here anyway? Don’t tell me that you work with that creepy king…” She asked.
Celia: “Creepy king? Ah, that guy… Eh, I killed him just a little while ago.” I reply with a nonchalant tone.
Sia: “Why exactly?” She asked with a head tilt.
Celia: “He stupidly declared war on my kingdom, so I came here to take this place over. Don’t worry, I’ve already done that.” I reply.
Sia: “…”
Mika: “…”
Yup. Those are some good reactions! God, girls are so fucking amazing! This reminds me, I need to get more reactions out of Ria, Nia, and Lia sometime soon…
Ria: “I look forward to your attempts, Celia.” She said with a giggle.
Ria popping out of nowhere gave the two girls quite the spook. I’m used to her doing this all of the time, so I just accept it.
Celia: “Ria, you remember Mika and Sia, right?” I ask.
Ria: “I do. Actually, the reason I came here, was because that Goddess contacted me about them. Of course, when it comes to cute girls, you’re always one step ahead of everyone else, and already made it to them before I could.” She said with joking tone.
Celia: “…”
Sia: “Miss Ria, our world was destroyed, could you take us to a different modern dimension?” She asked.
Ria: “No.” She replied.
Mika: “Why not!? You took Celia back to this dimension!” She exclaimed.
Ria: “That is because I have already marked her. Which means her soul and mine are connected. She isn’t immortal yet, but she practically is.” She replied.
Sia: “But… That Goddess put us in this dimension…” She said with a confused tone.
Ria: “Wrong. She killed your bodies, and put your souls within two other people’s bodies. Which is why you ended up in that cell.” She explained.
Celia: “So they can’t leave this dimension unless they become immortal?” I ask.
Ria: “Correct. But you two, do not despair, life in this world isn’t that bad. And assuming that Celia can figure out a way to give other people a System like hers, then you two can become immortal and I will help you leave this dimension.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “Yeah, it’s not that bad. I mean, the food is good, you know? Anyway, Ria could you please take them back to Yona’s castle?” I ask with a smile.
Ria: “They would much prefer to live within your dungeon, Celia.” She denied.
Mika: “Dungeon!? Please no! We have been in this dungeon long enough…” She said with a shaky tone.
Ria: “It’s a dungeon, but a fantasy one. Basically, Celia’s dungeon is the most advanced place in this dimension.” She said with a warm tone.
Really? I mean, it was starting to look pretty modern when I last went and looked at it. I wonder what it looks like now? My curiosity is peaked, but I have work to do still…
Ria: “Celia, Yona said that you can come home now, and they will handle the rest. If you want to see your dungeon, than you can do so.” She said with a giggle.
Awesome! Why is my mom so goddamn amazing? Ah, this life is truly a million times better than my last one! With an excited expression, I grabbed Mika’s and Sia’s hands, and teleported them to my dungeon.
Upon arriving, I was shocked to my very core… If even just a random unimportant person actually finds my dungeon, it would shake the very foundation of this entire dimension…
