Chapter 77: Grand Library.

(*Celia’s POV*)

Celia: “Mar… Why were five floors of this castle dedicated to scaring people?” I ask with a confused expression.

Mar: “Mistress has many people after her hand in marriage. She doesn’t like to deal with these people, so she puts them on those floors. They all eventually leave of their own *free* will without any fussing about.” She answered.

Celia: “really? How tactful. For me, I just shoed away any innocent people, and I killed the horrible ones after my hand in marriage… And the next floor? It won’t be a horror themed one, right?” I ask.

Mar: “Killed?… Ah, the next floor is the library, Lady Celia.” She answered with a forced laugh.

Once the elevator door opened up, I learned that she wasn’t lying about this floor. The library spanned the entire floor. Each shelf was as tall as the floor could handle. And each was filled to the brim with books of all kinds.

Celia: “This place is big, but why not use spatial magic to make it bigger?” I ask with a curious tone.

Mar: “Spatial magic? Surely you jest, Lady Celia. That kind of magic is lost.” She denied.

It’s lost in this dimension? But… what about those rings?

Creator: “Those rings do use spatial magic, but it is a very basic version of it. Nothing can be gleamed from them for someone to learn such magic.” She answered in my head.

Celia: “Oh? Then, can I learn it eventually? I do have a System, after all.” I ask in my head.

Creator: “No. You rely a lot on magic, so I have prevented you from being able to use it in this life. On top of that, I restricted your System so that no new Skills or Upgrades will be available.” She replied.

Celia: “…”

I feel like this woman has it out for me… Or does she? Solia did the same, wanting me to not rely on the System. Do I really need to learn that lesson once more? I feel like I barely even use my damn System these days…

Celia: “Lost? But I used to know how to do it. Ah, of course, that was in a different dimension. Unfortunately, it seems that this body doesn’t have any Mana. Though, I think that I can explain how to use it to Yona.” I reply with a thinking pose.

Before Mar could answer, Yona popped out of nowhere. Oh? You were that interested?

Yona: “Please explain how.” She pleaded.

Celia: “Hold on… I will explain it, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to learn how to use it. How is your magic, by the way? In my last life, I knew practically every type of magic.” I reply.

Yona: “I can only use Darkness magic. Anything else…I never learned.” She replied with a sigh.

With a grin, I guided Yona to sit on the couch in the library, and then I started to explain to her all that I knew about magic. My System gave me a far better understanding of each type of magic. Far more in depth than what a book could tell you.

*Hours Later.*

Looking out the window, it was hard to tell how long that I talked to Yona for. Outside was always gray, due to the snow. At the very least, I think that it was almost nighttime. With the small amount of light coming in from the window being less and less.

Yona: “Celia… in your last life, what were you?” She asked.

Celia: “If I tell you, it will very much upset you. And… it will explain why I have no intentions of being in a relationship with you.” I reply.

Yona: “Then… let’s leave that unanswered.” She quickly said.

Celia: “Aw… not willing to hear the truth? I understand, as the truth will greatly hurt you.” I say with a sigh.

Yona: “I will ask you… one day. But for now, I wish to indulge in being around you. I won’t hide inside my own castle from you any longer.” She said with a serious tone.

Celia: “I see… Were you able to learn any of the magic I explained?” I ask.

Yona: “I was… Me, a Demon Lordess, somehow knew less about Darkness Magic than a human.” She said with a sigh.

Yona flipped through each of the types of magic that I taught her. Which were most of them. As expected, she was able to learn them all with ease. After all, my explanations were very good.

Celia: “Don’t feel too bad, Yona.” I say with a laugh.

Yona: “…Could you reveal what you were before coming to this dimension? Please leave out the reason why you came here.” She asked with a nervous tone.

Celia: “I was a Supreme Goddess. Specifically, I was a Supreme Goddess of Lesbian Love. This doesn’t mean that I *love* all women romantically. It just means that I will always treat women or females in general, very well.” I answer.

Yona: “A… a Supreme Goddess? So… you were a being higher than me, huh?” She said with a defeated sigh.

Celia: “That’s true, but I am not the asshole kind that treats weaker beings as worthless. I value everyone. Of course, due to my domain, I value females more than any male of a species.” I reply with a giggle.

Yona: “Were you killed?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “No. I willingly gave up my power and came to this dimension. The reason is important. And once I achieve it, I will go back to my original form.” I answer.

Yona: “…”

Celia: “You’ve met that woman, right? The one with the blurry face?” I ask.

Yona: “I have met her a few times, yes.” She replied.

Celia: “She is a Creator. That woman is the one that sent me here.” I reply with a sigh.

Yona: “…Why did you come here?” She asked with an anxious tone and expression.

Celia: “If you want the answer, you will be very, very upset once you hear it.” I reply with a serious tone.

Yona: “Can… can you give me a few days before hearing it? No… could you give me a month?” She asked nervously.

This is great! This is the right step in getting Yona to remember who I actually am to her. Not a potential lover, but my mother. Rather than push this information onto her right now, I am more than willing to wait until she is ready for it. After all, this will be very shocking to her, and Yona will even hate herself once she realizes it…

Celia: “You can take as long as you want.” I reply with a smile.

Yona: “Thank you… It is almost time for you to sleep, but feel free to explore the library as much as you want. The rest of the floors are just empty.” She said before vanishing.

Aw… she ran away, huh? How sad. I wanted to read some books with her…

Celia: “Mar?” I say.

Mar: “Yes, Lady Celia?” She replied.

Celia: “Where are the lesbian novels?” I ask.

Mar: “…”

Once I got an entire stack of lesbian novels, I started reading them with gusto. It hasn’t been that long since I was able to relax and read. As I was able to do that in Heaven with Garentia. But even still, I read until I ended up falling asleep…
