Chapter 30 Bad Future.
(*Celia’s POV*)
Regardless of where I looked, this place was an extreme nightmare… So I guess that this is the future if we fail to stop that Creator? Now I sorta feel bad about being so against helping God out…
Celia: “God, we can get back to our time, right?” I ask with an unsure tone.
God: “Yes. I swear that we can, but we should stay in this time for a bit.” She replied.
Celia: “Huh? Why?” I ask with a head tilt.
God: “Once we find the crystal, then we can travel back to our time and protect it from the Creator that wants to take Heaven over.” She explained.
Celia: “Find? Don’t you know where it is?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
God: “If you have ownership of the crystal, then you can move it to wherever you want to. I think that it is highly likely that it was moved by that Creator.” She answered.
Celia: “…I can’t help but feel that this was mainly your fault.” I say with a groan.
God: “Oh, it definitely is. I won’t deny that. But I swear that I won’t make the same mistakes again.” She said with a confident expression.
As I walked further, I was confronted by more of those metal dark angels. I didn’t think that they would be a challenge, but I was wrong. With just three of them, I was down more than half of my HP after I killed them. And it took me twenty minutes to kill them. Ah, I don’t have access to my System, but I feel as if I had lost that amount of HP.
God: “Celia, it is best to avoid fighting those creatures. While in their domain, they’re very strong.” She advised.
Celia: “What am I supposed to do? There isn’t much cover or places to hide anymore…” I ask with a sigh.
God: “Just be sneaky.” She replied.
Sneaky? Huh… I fucking forgot that I could go invisible. Once I did, I luckily saw that God could do the same. I wish that she would have offered me such a solution…
God: “Hey, I might be God, but granting a random being such a power would go against my morals. It is just lucky that you have it already.” She said with a pout.
Celia: “…”
When most people think of higher beings, they probably think of old men and women. But from my experience, they’re just long lived children. I mean, it would be a challenge to convince someone that the little pouty fairy next to me is actually God…

Now that I could walk around without being interrupted, I was more able to take in the environment. Yup. Still a hellscape. Looking at a lineup of prisoners, I noticed a familiar figure… It was that vampire lady!
Without doing much thinking, I sprung into action to save her and the rest of the people chained up as a byproduct. As I took the metal guards out one by one, they were confused, but couldn’t really fight back against an invisible enemy. Once they were dead, I broke the chains on the people.
Some of the more powerful people had an interesting collar on, which seemed to restrict their power. Luckily, I was able to destroy their collars, so at least they could defend themselves now.
Celia: “Hello, Vampire Supreme Goddess! It’s been a while, huh?” I say after undoing my invisibility.
Rachel: “My name is Rachel, and thanks for helping us out. Can I ask why you’ve only now showed up?” She asked with a curious tone.
The rest of the people all fled in different directions, but Rachel stayed behind to talk to me. Well, from a glance, I would say that most of them weren’t on Rachel’s level at all. So them running away isn’t much of a concern to me.
Celia: “I was coming back to help save Heaven, but those black metal angel creatures attacked me while teleporting here. As a byproduct, I ended up far into the future.” I explain.
Rachel: “Can you go back and stop this from happening?” She asked.
Celia: “Yes, I can. But I need to find the… well, I need to find something first before I can go back.” I answer.
Rachel: “Alright then. I was captured, but there is a resistance base that I can show you to. Though, getting there will be a problem.” She proposed.
With a smile, I grabbed Rachel’s hand and went invisible. With me holding her, she also turned invisible. With that, we were able to walk around safely. Rachel guided me to her base, which was many miles away from this area. As such, we flew to it.
Doing this without invisibility would be a bad idea, as Heaven has practically a complete open sightline. We’d easily be seen if we flew, but since we’re invisible, this method is doable. Frankly, it is kinda crazy how much Heaven has changed.
After flying for an hour or two, or we ended up at… well, it was still a desert. But I saw a worn down building, and inside it was a hidden hatch. Rachel seemed to do a secret knock, and then the hatch opened up. The one who opened the hatch was a little girl.
I lied, it was Alisa… Seeing me, she jumped out of the hole and gave me a hug. She kept crying into my chest, and I was afraid that we would attract those creatures, so I carried her inside the base along with Rachel.
It was sad to see Alisa like this, and to be fair, to her and Amelie, it has been a very long time since I left. Once inside, I met Amelie, who looked very upset at my arrival. I knew that she thought I ran away, or something, so I quickly explained what happened to both Amelie and Alisa.
Alisa: “Mom, how did they know to attack you? The Darkness Creator couldn’t have known that you would be sent to the future, but how did she know about you leaving?” She asked with a thinking pose.
Celia: “I have no idea, really.” I reply with an embarrassed tone.
Cimra: “It was my fault, Celia.” She said with a remorseful tone.
Ah, she was here to? How funny… Soon, Cimra explained how it happened. Basically, before going to Heaven, the Darkness Creator visited Cimra’s dimension. It’s not like there is just one Darkness Creator, but we don’t know her name, so that is how she is referred as. Ah, right.
The reason she knew, was because she temporarily controlled Cimra, who revealed our plan. Basically, it was just bad luck all around. Rachel said that she didn’t want to be involved with whatever I needed to do, so I went into a private room with Amelie and Alisa to explain. Once we talked a bit, it was decided that we would try to find the crystal together. Without waiting any longer, we set out to do just that.
