Chapter 35: The Start of The End.

(Celia’s POV)

Celia: “Can you only help me with food and water?” I ask.

Ria: “I can help you with whatever. The compensation from God for her skipping out on giving you food was for me to have free rein to do whatever I want to.” She clarified.

Celia: “Awesome! Then, can you give me a weapon?” I plead.

The end was now, as they say. What I mean is that the monsters have started to spawn. As you would expect, the beginner mobs were basic ones, such as slimes and the like. These monsters will surely be causing even more chaos soon…

They weren’t the cute kind, though. And these monsters are more than enough to cull most of the people in this world, including those with strong souls. I never realized that Alisa was so damn hardcore…

Ria: “Do you really need me to give you a weapon? The knife that you got from marrying Nia should be more than enough for most situations.” She replied.

Celia: “It would be… But I find the idea of using a tool of our marriage as just a weapon to be something in bad taste.” I reply with a sigh.

Ria: “…Cute.” She said with a giggle, making a sword appear out of nowhere and handing it to me.

Celia: “Thanks!” I happily say, giving her a hug, trying to ignore the comment she made about me being cute.

Once the hug ended, I went over to the monsters, and I started to kill all in my path. As I killed them, I could tell that I was gaining power. I didn’t have a convenient System like usual, but I did feel stronger. Let the killing begin!!!

Hours Later.

How weird… I had only killed a few hundred of them within a few hours, but I felt like I became a super human already. It was like these monsters were giving me experience at an absurd rate. If I was to make a comparison, it was like killing a few hundred thousand Goblins in my dimension…

Ria: “They give a lot of power per kill, it would seem.” She said with a thinking pose.

Celia: “But why? At this point, even without a weapon, I could easily kill these monsters like I was playing a game.” I reply with a thinking pose of my own.

Ria: “You’re misunderstanding something, dear.” She said with a laugh.

Celia: “Huh?” I say with a head tilt.

Ria: “Most humans would have easily died to the weakest of these monsters.” She replied.

Celia: “…”

Really? But… they were so damn easy to kill, even at the start. Like, I didn’t even get hurt once. And I was fighting in an OL outfit! Of course, the monsters dropped many items, including armor. Which is what I am wearing now. Actually, I was wearing a knight’s outfit similar to what that demon woman was wearing.

Ria: “You greatly overestimate humans, Celia.” She said with another laugh.

Celia: “What do you mean?” I ask with a confused tone.

Ria: “Your many years of fighting and your hard trained skills is what made this easy. Even in a different, weaker body, you can’t get rid of your inherent battle senses.” She answered.

Celia: “Really? But like, at worst, most humans would just get injured but still kill these monsters, right?” I say with a thinking pose.

Ria: “They would easily die. It is unlikely for them to have any weapons, and this area is clearly spawning high level enemies at the moment. Of course, they aren’t that strong, but surely these monsters are for the later stages of this apocalypse of Alisa’s.” She continued.

Celia: “…”

Ah, so once again, even starting out at zero, I am overpowered… What fun! I love playing games by being overpowered at the start. I wonder if I could do something crazy and start an empire?

Ria: “Bad idea, dear.” She said with a stern tone.

Celia: “How so?” I say with a head tilt.

Ria: “You couldn’t run an empire. It’s just not your personality.” She answered.

Celia: “…That’s true.” I agree with a sigh.

Apart from the new outfit, lots of other random items dropped as well. It went from things like a ball of slime jelly, to things like power stones. I can only assume that you can use them to get more powerful, or something. By the way, the slime jelly balls aren’t edible. I found out the hard way…

Demon Woman: “Please… I beg you to stop killing the monsters.” She pleaded while panting.

The woman from before came back, looking like she had rushed here to find me. Oops… looks like I went somewhat overboard once more. Why do I do these things to myself? Eh, probably because I find it fun/funny. Heh…

Celia: “Oh, hey! It’s good to see you againnnn.” I say with a smile, and a long, drawn out last word.

Demon Woman: “Are you okay?” She asked with a concerned tone.

I was fine, in practice… The problem was that Ria was invisible to this woman. Which is why she couldn’t see that Ria was currently in the process of feeling up my butt… Nows not the time for that, Ria! But keep doing it…

Celia: “I am fine, just a little tired from all the fighting…” I answer with a red face.

Demon Woman: “That so? Good… Now, could you perhaps stop killing the monsters?” She asked.

Celia: “Why? I thought that they existed for me to kill and get stronger?” I say with an innocent tone.

Demon Woman: “…They do, but not these ones. They aren’t supposed to be hunted for a few years at the least. Due to that plan, their numbers are very low. If you keep killing them, they will stop spawning.” She explained.

Celia: “Oh, really? What a shame. I wanted to get stronger.” I say with a pout.

Fin: “Look, my name is Fin. What’s yours?” She asked.

Celia: “Celia.” I answer.

Fin: “Okay, Celia. I promise to take you to a safe area. If I do, could you please give up on killing these monsters? At most, you only have to wait a year to come back to kill them.” She pleaded.

Celia: “Give me food?” I say with a head tilt.

Fin: “…”

Celia: “?”

Fin: “…”

Celia: “???”

Fin: “Mistress might reprimand me, but I will take you to one of our bases, okay?” She agreed with a slightly reluctant tone.

Celia: “Awesome! Lead the way, Fin!” I happily agree.

The reluctant knight demon girl, Fin, then started to lead me out of the forest. Fin asked me why I was walking slowly, and I just replied that I was tired. But that was a lie that she luckily couldn’t find out about.

The reason I was walking so slowly was due to Ria, though. Now, one of her arms was wrapped around my waist, and the other was playing with my face and hair. Ria always knew how to drive me crazy… Just this attention alone was enough to make me want her right here and now… Oh, dear wife of mine, why must you make me suffer so?…
