Chapter 47: Save Cute Girls, and Accidentally Save the World as Well?

(*Celia’s POV*)

First off, just for the deceased wife that this man killed, I made sure to end his life first. If I was her, I’d even still be pissed off that he got to exist in Hell. People like him should just be erased. Which is what I just did.

Now that I finished off my only true target, not counting the Hell Guide, I went around randomly murdering all of the cult members. I don’t know if this was all of them, but it was certainly a decent portion of them.

Once I was done, I was covered in blood. I didn’t realize that this was a scary sight until I walked over to the hostages. They all screamed in terror…

Celia: “Hey, hold on now. I am here to save you all. Do you even know where this place is?” I ask with a calm tone.

Of course, I cleaned myself off before trying to talk to them. Less scary that way. Though I did kill like a few thousand people…

An office lady, who seemed to be the bravest one of the bunch, got up and tried talking to me. Those cult people were so confident they didn’t even bother tying them up.

OL: “Where is this exactly? This place… it isn’t like any I’ve seen.” She asked.

Celia: “This is Hell. No, really. This is straight up actually Hell.” I answer.

OL: “…”

Celia: “Don’t worry, like me, you’re all still living. These people were damned souls that wanted to sacrifice you all so that they could return to the world of the living.” I explain.

OL: “Can… can we even get back?” She asked with a nervous tone.

Celia: “Yes, but a lot of you are from different dimensions. For more proof of this, my dimension, which is where this specific Hell is located, is a fantasy one.” I reply.

OL: “Oh please… I love those kind of novels, but I don’t want to live in a world like that…” She said with a pleading tone.

Celia: “You all might have too, but I need to talk to the administrator of Hell, and get their opinion on this. Sorry, I don’t know much about Hell.” I reply.

OL: “Dammit… At least tell me that you’re famous, or something. I would hate to be living in a world like this as a peasant…” She asked with a sigh.

Celia: “I am a Princess, if that makes you feel any better. Ah, also, my kingdom is the most powerful.” I reply with a giggle.

OL: “That’s a pretty funny joke… Oh, you aren’t joking!” She said with an excited tone.

Celia: “Don’t get too excited just yet. To get out of Hell, we need to get the lowest layer of it. Which means we have to go through more layers.” I explain.

OL: “Will you protect us?” She asked.

Looking around, there were only fifty women still left alive. Unfortunately, I didn’t come soon enough to save the rest of them. Regardless, I should be able to save the rest of them as long as I am careful.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

Celia: “I’ll try my best to…” My words were cut off.

I was able to react quickly, and I turned around to block a sword strike from someone who snuck up on me. The blocked ended up being a parry, and energy was splashed everywhere.

Luckily, I managed to block most of it for the survivors, but the one who attacked me wasn’t that lucky. She, on the other hand, had gained a bunch of cuts. The woman, who is most likely the leader of this cult, looked pretty pissed off.

Cult Leader: “You… You! How could you ruin my perfect plan!? I’ve been preparing this for years, just for a random person to ruin it!? Bullshit!” She said with a furious tone and expression.

Celia: “Ah, so you must be the Hell Guide turned cult leader, right? Sorry about the rest of your group. Don’t worry, they won’t be returning.” I say with a cheeky tone.

Cult Leader: “Leave the remaining sacrifices, and then I’ll let you leave this place alive.” She demanded.

Celia: “Are you serious? You do realize that you’re injured while I am unharmed, right? You’re in no position to demand anything of me, fool.” I say with a raised eyebrow.

Cult Leader: “No, you don’t understand! These sacrifices are necessary to save everyone!” She exclaimed.

Celia: “How so?” I ask with a head tilt.

Cult Leader: “What we did is wrong, that I know, but the current administrator of Hell wants to take over the world of the living. If we let him, then no one will be able to stop him at all!” She explained with a hurried tone.

What the fuck? I thought that they wanted to come back to life, not save the world?… Wait, isn’t she lying? Her members didn’t seem to share the same ideas as her…

Cult Leader: “I know that look… The members of this… cult, as you put it, were planned to be sacrificed as well. Please listen to me!” She pleaded.

Celia: “You know, I really feel like you’re lying to me…” I say with a sigh.

Ria? My dear, beautiful and oh so wonderful wife, could you perhaps check if the current administrator of Hell is planning a takeover of the living world?

Ria: “That… That would be hard to believe, but I shall check for you.” She agreed.

Celia: “Thanks!” I reply.

Not a few minutes later, Ria informed me that the cult leader’s words were correct. Shit… Eh, what fucking ever. They still shouldn’t have resorted to sacrificing so many innocent people, even if they wanted to save everyone.

Sacrifice a few to save millions, is just a cop out. It isn’t a belief that I would ever agree with. There is ALWAYS a better way to solve a difficult problem, at least in my opinion.

With a sigh, I pointed my sword toward the Cult Leader. She looked sad, as if she had failed to save everyone. How dramatic…

Celia: “Tell me, can you take these people back to their dimensions?” I ask with a serious tone.

Cult Leader: “I can… but I need them for sacrifices!” She replied.

Before she could say anymore I lunged at her with my sword in hand. I used my full force as well as all of my skills. She had no chance of winning in a fight against me, and I needed to make sure that she knew this. As she fell to the ground, defeated, I pointed my sword at her once more.

Celia: “Maybe this is fate playing a sick game on us, but since I am here in Hell, and I need to go to the lowest layer anyway, I shall deal with this administrator for you.” I say with a prideful tone.

Cult Leader: “You…You’re perhaps strong enough to do so, I’ll admit. But why?” She asked with a confused tone.

Celia: “Ah, I think that one of the Hell Guides said that I am on the good list. I see no reason to not continue to be on such a list. And I will do this, only if you take these people back, and compensate them in someway.” I reply.

Cult Leader: “I will! I promise on my honor as a Hell Guide!” She said with various nods of her head.

Celia: “Good, good. Now then, please send me to a lower level, and then I shall go deal with this stupid administrator. Oh, right. If you go back on your words, then I will come back here to kill you, mark my words.” I say with a serious tone while pointing my sword at her neck.

She nodded once more. With a smile, I walked over to the captives to say goodbye to them. While doing this, the Hell Guide had opened up a door for me.

OL: “You’re stupidly strong… Thanks for helping us out!” She said with a happy smile.

Celia: “No problem. Now then, if she breaks her promise, then I shall kill her, and then pull some strings to resurrect you all.” I say with a confident tone.

I doubt that I could do that, but at least it is still a good threat to the Hell Guide, who is still within earshot of this conversation. Oddly, the OL gave me a hug… With that, I went in through the door, and I was once again back in that shitty teleportation thing…
