Chapter 69: The Awful Truth That I Will Pretend I Don't Know...

(*Yona’s POV*)

Waiting until it was late in the night, I stayed inside my room. This Creator was a person that cared the most about being entertained. If I refuse to do anything, she will surely show up. If not, how will I get answers?

Creator: “You think so lowly of me… Very similar to Celia, in that regard.” She said with a laugh.

Yona: “Explain. Now!” I demand.

Creator: “Explain what? You need to be more specific.” She replied with a feigned confused tone.

Yona: “How does Celia know me?” I ask.

Creator: “You’re her mother.” She answered.

Yona: “…”

Not even an attempt at denial? I really am her mother? Oh, no…

Yona: “H-how… I’ve never had a daughter.” I say with a confused tone.

Creator: “She’s not your blood daughter. You adopted her.” She replied.

Yona: “Then… there shouldn’t be anything wrong with me wanting to marry her then, right? After all, this is just another life of mine. I am not her adoptive mother. I was reborn, and she came here to get me, right?” I ask with an unsure tone.

To my horror, the woman starting laughing like crazy. What is so funny about this? I said too much. I don’t know which part that she found funny…

Creator: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry… It is so damn funny and entertaining!” She said with a happy smile.

Yona: “…”

Creator: “You see, Celia is a Supreme Goddess.” She said with a giggle.

Yona: “What?… She is a human, what do you mean?” I reply with a raised eyebrow.

Creator: “Wrong! She is only a human, because I placed her into this world. You see, I kidnapped her entire family, including you, and put them in different dimensions. As a game, I made Celia enter these dimensions, with her not being able to keep her original power.” She replied.

Yona: “…”

Creator: “You aren’t “reborn” I put you here into this dimension, with a new body. Celia came here just to save and take you back to your original dimension. And yet, she found you, or rather, you found her. Now, you lust after your own dear daughter!” She exclaimed, before laughing once more.

Yona: “Shut… Shut the fuck up! Why do you find this funny!?” I yell, throwing a punch at her face.

I was able to hit her, but I could tell that nothing came of my attack. It was like a small bug has tried to hit her…

Creator: “How can I not laugh? It is so just so amazingly funny. Celia came to this dimension, thinking that all she had to do was find you and make you remember her. Instead, since she met you, you’ve just tried to seduce her. Now, you have even kidnapped her, with the intention to marry Celia. That is so funny.” She said with a laugh.

Yona: “…This doesn’t change a thing… Surely, we can still be together once we leave this dimension.” I say with a confident tone.

Creator: “Do you think that she would agree with that?” She asked.

Yona: “I am sure that with time, I can break down her walls…” Her next words cut mine off.

Creator: “Haha! Celia isn’t a single girl. She has four wives. All of which I’ve kidnapped. And you, on the other hand, are married as well. Celia has to save Solia, your wife, eventually as well.” She said with another laugh.

Yona: “…”

I…I’m already married?… The mention of that name, “Solia.” made all of my memories come rushing back to me. Oh, Goddess… Falling to my knees, I started crying my eyes out. When was the last time I’ve ever cried in this life?

I am a fucking monster… Celia… my dear daughter, Celia… I lusted after her. Betraying the promise and vows that I made to my wife, Solia. Celia gave up everything to come here and save me. And what do I do in return? I try to seduce her, and lock her up in my castle…

Ah, I am going to go insane… I wish that I never knew this… I can’t go back. Even with my memories, I now have the knowledge that I always wanted to be in a romantice relationship with Celia. I just hid that desire as deep in my heart as I could.

I don’t deserve to be her mother. I’ve lost that right. I have also lost the right to being Solia’s wife. Why? Couldn’t I just try to get Celia’s forgiveness? After all, I wasn’t aware how important Celia was to me. I didn’t mistake my feelings toward her as love; they were always like that. It was just something that I tried to deny.

And the reason why I can’t beg for Celia’s forgiveness, is because I still wish to keep Celia here in this dimension. Keep her all to myself. Denying her wives access to her. Her wives, who three I know quite well, and even see as my own daughters.

Creator: “Celia will forgive you. You know this, so you want to overstep her kindness.” She said with a serious tone.

Yona: “She would forgive… even this?” I say with an unsure tone.

Creator: “Surely, you understand Celia that much, right? I tore her from her family, and yet, she already forgives even me. As for you, you know it in your heart. If you keep her here, she won’t ever grow to hate you anytime soon.” She replied with a confident tone.

Yona: “…”

Creator: “I know it. You will keep Celia here in this dimension. You will try to convince her to love you as a woman. And you will be successful in this. But eventually she will have enough. Celia will realize how much of a monster that you’re, and will want to leave.” She said with a happy smile.

Yona: “Why?… Why would you do this to us? I don’t understand… how can someone be so evil?…” I ask with tears flowing down my face.

Creator: “You all claim to be her mother’s, wives, and daughters. But… have you all really ever earned such a title? It hurts to do this to Celia, but it is necessary.” She replied.

Yona: “…”

Creator: “I will put her entire family in the worst light possible. Celia will eventually think that you’re all monsters, that she unfortunately gave her love to.” She said with the happiest smile I’ve ever seen.

Why can I see her face now? That doesn’t matter.

Yona: “I won’t go through with it! I will swallow my desire for Celia, and will leave this dimension with her as her mother!” I exclaim with a serious tone.

Creator: “Will you now? Do you think that I’ve done all this explaining and gloating, just so you could ruin my plans? You can see me in full now, right?” She replied.

This woman… the one that has seemingly wormed her way into Celia’s life… She was so beautiful. That most beautiful woman that I have ever seen. Her deep black hair was striking, and her red eyes were enchanting. An ethereal beauty that could put even Celia’s wives to shame. She looked like… Oh, no… No wonder she kept her face hidden…

Yona: “Ria… how could you do this? Don’t you love Amelie?” I say with a weak voice.

Ria: “My Amelie died many years ago… And so did Celia. Or rather, I had to kill her. In the end, our entire family was killed. And Celia and I remained, but her mind was broken beyond repair.” She said with a sad tone.

Yona: “You… you aren’t the Ria I know… are you?” I ask.

Ria: “I am the Ria from many, many years in the future. The best way to save Celia is for me to destroy her image of her family as soon as possible. But I am not a monster.” She answered.

Yona: “…”

Ria: “Celia works in wonderful ways. Even after I erase you memory of this conversation, you might still remember your memories of Celia, and won’t try to marry her.” She said with an unsure tone.

Yona: “If such a possibility exists, then why try to ruin us?” I ask with a confused tone.

Ria: “My methods are in line with the goal of destroying the family, but they seem to be in vain. The more I try to change things, the more my time changes as well. Such as you, for instance, still being alive in my time. If I keep going… surely there will be a future will Celia can be happy, right?…” She replied with an unsure tone.

Yona: “Ria… Celia won’t forgive you once she finds out. Even she has limits to her kindness.” I say with a grim tone.

Ria: “I know… If her hating me is required for her to be happy, then I will more than willingly make her hate me. Now, I’ve talked too much… I wonder what you will do? Honestly, not even I know.” She said before snapping her fingers.

My head was in so much pain… My memories all slipping away from me, no matter how hard I tried to keep them. Ria picked me up in a princess carry, and then she put me in my bed. The memories I regained just minutes prior were leaving me, and Ria waited there with me. Don’t… don’t give me such a sad look… This isn’t something forgivable, Ria…
