Chapter 51: New Kingdom for fun Events!

(Celia’s POV)

Oddly, rather than still being in flight, I was now in a bed. Ria was holding me softly, and was already wide awake.

Celia: “Did you stare at me the entire time I was asleep?” I ask with a yawn.

Ria: “If I did, you should question my sanity. No. I have only been watching you for an hour or two.” She answered.

Celia: “…”

Ria: “Please praise my restraint. After all, I did actually sleep. Even though I don’t really need to sleep more than once every few years.” She said with a tone of someone who wanted to be praised.

Celia: “…Good girl.” I say while rubbing her head.

Awa… don’t nuzzle up your head to my hand… That just makes me want to rub your head for hours on end… Speaking of which, where even are we right now?

Celia: “How did we get here?” I ask with a curious tone.

Ria: “You fell asleep, so I took you to the next kingdom, and rented out a room for us to stay in.” She answered.

Celia: “Why did I fall asleep? I don’t recall being tired…” I ask with a thinking pose.

Ria: “Our session must have been more damaging to your human body than we originally thought. As you quickly fell asleep in my arms, and wouldn’t wake up for hours.” She replied.

Ah, so my wife practically gave me a kiss of death, huh? Am I insane for finding that to be very romantic, and or arousing? Regardless, the kiss was very nice, and I do not regret it. Even if my body regrets it, funnily enough.

Celia: “What is this kingdom called?” I ask.

Ria: “Does the name matter if we will be soon destroying it?” She replied.

Celia: “We at least need to know what name to put on the gravestone, Ria.” I reply with a laugh.

Ria: “That’s true. This kingdom is called Beastria.” She answered.

Celia: “Beastria? Does it have anything to do with demihumans?” I reply.

Ria: “No. The one who founded the kingdom oddly liked the name, even though only humans live here. Actually, there aren’t any other species besides humans and monsters in this dimension.” She explained.

Celia: “There aren’t even elves in this dimension? I have to question my daughter’s creativity, it seems.” I jokingly reply.

Ria: “New humanoid subspecies were never Alisa’s goal. So please do not scold her too harshly.” She said with a laugh.

Ria then got up from the bed and picked me up in a princess carry. After which, she took me to the bathroom and washed every inch of my body. This was not really needed, as Ria could just as easily use cleaning magic on me.

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

But her pampering me like this was very nice, even if it was just an extra service, that could have been done far faster if magic was used in its place. Soaking in the bath with Ria was nice as well. Ah, this is bliss…

A Very Long Morning Later.

Ria: “It is a shame that such a beautiful kingdom will be soon destroyed.” She said with a wistful tone.

Celia: “They can only blame themselves, and us, I guess. After all, they could continue to live as horribly people. Only if we didn’t show up, that is.” I reply with a giggle.

Currently, Ria and I were standing on top of the tallest building of Beastria. Which happens to be the bell tower. Unlike most bell towers, this one was operated with magic. So there wasn’t any way for most people to get up to the bell.

Of course, when you can fly, very little can restrict your movements or where you can and cannot go. No matter how many times I get put into a new body, I will always miss my magic. Mainly that of my ability to fly.

It is honestly traumatizing, if I am allowed to be dramatic. It’s like someone clipping your wings, in a sense. Those that have only flown on things like airplanes wouldn’t get this feeling, either. Flying is something amazing, something that I really never get bored with, even when someone else is just carrying me while they fly.

Ria: “You’re so cute…” She said with a smile.

Celia: “From all the times I’ve counted so far, you have called me cute at least thirty times today… Oh, I do not mind. In fact, I very much like it. I am just curious as to why you’ve constantly called me cute, Ria.” I reply.

Ria: “Getting to see a side of you that I never got to experience is the reason why, Celia.” She answered.

Celia: “How so? What side of me haven’t you seen? You know all of my fetishes and desires…” I ask with a curious tone.

Ria: “Here I am, sitting here with you, and you’re clearly thinking about something. But I have no idea what it could be. It could be anything, really. The idea that your mind is now something that I don’t have access to, that you can think without me or anyone else intruding upon those thoughts… it is something new.” She explained.

Celia: “And do you like this new thing?” I ask.

Ria: “I do. I now understand how horrible I was for intruding on your thoughts for so long. For a long time, I have respected you as a higher being, but I, for some reason, kept listening in on your thoughts. That was a major disrespect to you and our relationship.” She said with a remorseful tone.

Celia: “I did give you permission, so please don’t feel so remorseful. At no point did I ever ask you to stop.” I say with a warm tone.

Ria: “Oh, but you did…” She denied.

Celia: “When? I don’t recall.” I reply with a head tilt.

Ria: “You only agreed to letting me listen in on your thoughts, as I acted like a child, and pouted, saying that it was a very fun thing to do.” She answered.

Celia: “See? I agreed. What’s the problem? Though, I am very happy that my thoughts are my own again.” I reply with a shrug.

Is it really that big of a deal? Ruina was listening in to my thoughts far before Ria, Nia, and God were. I was just able to accept it, as Ruina accidentally primed me for my privacy to be invaded.

Ria: “Is there really nothing that I could do to make you hate me?” She asked with a sigh.

Celia: “Of course. There are plenty of things like that, but you will never do them. I am confident of that.” I reply with a confident tone and expression.

Ria: “Name one, please?” She pleaded.

Celia: “Breaking my heart, for example, would be one of them.” I answer.

Ria: “…”

Celia: “?”

Ria: “Haven’t I done that already before?” She said with a nervous tone.

Celia: “Not that I am aware, no? You have hurt my feelings, sure. But you have never broken my heart, rest assured in that.” I deny.

Ria: “I will try harder to ensure that I do not hurt you again in the future, Celia.” She swore with a serious tone.

Celia: “I know you will. Though, for now, why don’t you come up with an entertaining way to destroy this kingdom?” I suggest.

Ria: “Right away, my Lady. I shall endeavor to find a method of destroying this kingdom that will entertain you greatly.” She jokingly replied, speaking in olden English for fun.

This caused me to laugh a lot, which clearly made Ria happy. I understand her worries and how she feels remorseful. But we should only look to the future, as it is something that will never end for us.

No one is perfect, neither Ria, me, my wives, or my family members. All the same, we’re able to accept each other, and that is what makes us family. My sense of right and wrong might be loose and weird, but forgiving my family will never be the wrong decision. Saying that, I do look forward to how Ria will make this kingdom fall…
