Chapter 85: Oh…
(Celia’s POV)
The fight went on, and I made sure to push him toward areas where we were much further away from any living person. That doesn’t account for the poor woodland creatures… Ah, forest animals, I will avenge you!
Fern: “Haha! Dodge, attack, dodge, attack. I can do this forever! For your hubris of ruining my plans, the rest of your life will be this endless battle hell!” He said with a happily evil tone.
Celia: “And what if I decided to destroy this planet? Keep in mind, I am far stronger than you.” I ask with a curious tone.
Fern: “You won’t do such a thing! If you were okay with killing so many people… then this fight would have ended at the very start!” He replied with a confident tone.
Celia: “…”
Damn… just like a normal Higher Being, he already has my number. Eh, it’s not like I hide that I am a goody two shoes. Well, at least, when it comes to females. Speaking of which, even if this planet gets destroyed, those in my guild would survive…
Faith: “Celia!” She exclaimed.
Celia: “Wha… what!?” I reply, kinda shocked by how loud she is being.
Faith: “My plan is ready!” She happily expressed.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Celia: “Huh? What exactly is this plan…” My words were cut short.
Pierce!
Celia: “…”
Shoving her hand through Fern’s chest, June had ripped his heart out. Then she quickly destroyed it. But she didn’t just use one hand… With her other hand, she ripped Fern’s soul out, and then promptly destroyed that as well.
June: “Wow… that gave me a level up…” She said with a shocked tone.
Celia: “It should be fine, just as long as you do not evolve.” I reply, trying to regain my sense of calm.
June: “Can I please sleep without being woken up now? Sleeping as a Higher Being… is like the purest form of drug, apart from having sex with Miracle.” She pleaded like a child.
Cleaning herself with magic, June then nuzzled up to me like a spoiled baby girl. What the hell? Why is she acting this way?… Ah, it is because she isn’t actually fully awake.
Celia: “Yes, dear. Go back to sleep, I will put you to bed in a bit.” I reply with a motherly tone, softy rubbing her head.
June: “Okay, Mom.” She said with a yawn, before then quickly falling back to sleep.
Celia: “…”
I recall that June’s mother was an evil bitch, who surely didn’t treat her even slightly right, but was June really missing motherly love this much? She will probably be greatly embarrassed when she wakes up and recalls what she did just now.
To her, I don’t know if she actually sees me as her mother, really. I wouldn’t mind just being a motherly friend to her, though. I mean… I am very much looking forward to how great her embarrassed expression will be in the future…
Faith: “Congratulations on the new daughter!” She said with a joking tone.
Celia: “She probably isn’t my new daughter. And, Faith… what happened to that plan of yours?” I reply.
Faith: “What do you mean? My plan was to wait for June to show up, as she would easily be able to kill Fern. And what do you know? I was right!” She replied with an innocent tone.
Celia: “…”
Ah, Faith, my dear sister… I will remember in the future to not trust your silly words so very easily next time. Calm down, calm down… Celia, don’t let the cheeky woman inside your mind get to you. Instead, just look at the cutely sleeping June for comfort… Hm… this is working. How nice!
