Chapter 63: Rattling Their Bones!
(*Celia’s POV*)
Yona had her sword out, and I had my dagger drawn. Seemingly since we’re now seen as a threat, the skeletons attack to kill on site now. After around forty minutes of walking, we arrived at the town. It wouldn’t have taken so long if we didn’t get attacked…
Yona: “Lady Celia… The town is completely overrun with skeletons. There has to be at least a few thousand of them…” She said with a serious tone.
Celia: “Can just one necromancer do this?” I ask.
Yona: “I don’t think so. It must be a group of them. Looking at the skeletons in the town, some still have flesh on them. Which would tell us that they were recently killed and turned into moving skeletons.” She said with an angry tone.
Looking down at the town from a cliff vantage point, I could understand her anger. Given a few more years, this place could have become a city, rather than a town. It was pretty big. Unfortunately, the sign for the town was destroyed.
Due to that, I couldn’t figure out the name. Of course, I could just ask Yona. But I don’t really care that much at all. This place has already been destroyed. There isn’t much reason to figure out what it was called before it got to this point.
Celia: “Lady Yona, please go find that group. I will do with the skeletons.” I propose.
Yona: “Alone!? Lady Celia, I can’t agree with that.” She replied.
Celia: “I’ll be fine.” I reply with a smile.
Plus, I need to kill them for experience points! Please allow me to get more levels up! I beg of you!
Yona: “But…” I cut her words off.
Celia: “No buts. This is clearly far bigger than we originally thought that it would be. I’ll deal with the skeletons, and once I am done, I will go find you. Okay?” I reply with a serious tone.
Yona: “…”
Celia: “Look, you see that big building over there? It looks like whoever ran this town lived in that place. Despite this town being destroyed, it still has lights on even now.” I explain.
And conveniently, there was a waterway that you could use to sneak up to it. A perfect plan, in my “humble” opinion.
Celia: “Yona, I can handle a few skeletons. Once I start killing them, whoever is responsible might try to run away. We can’t allow them to get away and do something horrible like this again.” I say with a smile.
Yona: “Okay… Just stay safe, Celia.” She replied with a defeated sigh.
Ah, so we’ve stopped adding “Lady” to each other’s names? How nice… Without me needing to tell her about it, Yona went down to the shallow, manmade waterway to sneak into the town. As for me, I just went inside the town from the front entrance.

Celia: “Okay… please give me experience!” I exclaim while facing a skeleton army.
Whoever was controlling this army, wasn’t watching it fully. Most of the skeletons attacked in the same ways. Some didn’t have weapons, some just fought with farm tools. It was a sad showing all around… Regardless, they will make a good batch of things to kill for me to get stronger!
Dashing in, I started killing every skeleton that showed up in my path. With this, Yona’s mission will be easy. I will surely distract the ones behind this situation by a decent bit. My dagger was overpowered, and with just a slash in the air from literally feet away, I could destroy a skeleton’s skull, killing them once more.
*Hours Later.*
This army really wasn’t anything to worry about. How weak even are they? I feel like they’re as weak as a normal, untrained human. Ah, I forgot that I can just peek at their information with my System! I guess that I was stuck without it for so long, that I forgot about some things that it can do…

The skeletal remains of a human, brought back to life by a Necromancer. Such skeletons have tiny souls housed in their heads. Which makes destroying their skulls the only way to kill them.

Yeah, they’re decently weak. Goodbye, Greg! May you rest in peace. If they’re just like this, I am no longer surprised that I was able to have such an en easy time dealing with them.
I estimate that there are around 8,000 skeletons in total. After fighting for a few hours, I got that number down to around 2,000 something. Dealing with the rest of them will be easy peasy!
*Literally a Minute Later.*
Fuuuck! Me and my stupid mouth… Whoever is responsible for this army has clearly taken notice. The skeletons all started to combine. Now, rather than just a few thousand skeletons left, there were just a hundred.
Less enemies is good, right? Well, not when they combine into skeletons as big as a building!!! Not only that, but now they have actual intelligence. They fight well, and they coordinate well too. Of course, not all of them are as big as building.
Most of them became just became skeletons thrice my size. The bigger ones seemed to be commanders, or something along those lines. Though, it really wasn’t that big of a problem.
They might have gotten bigger and better, but I am still far better than them in every way. With a smug grin, I climbed up one of the big skeletons and kicked his head. A large crack was caused by my kick. Two punches were all that were needed to finish him off.
*Destruction of the Skeleton Army Later.*
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to peep at the two new kinds of skeletons. By the time that I was in a position where I could do something as easy going as that was only after I finished them all off. How said… Now, behold all the levels that I gained!!!

What the fuuuuuck!? I only got one more level up!? Are you fucking kidding me?!!! So with my current Soul Repair percent, I could only get two more levels up? Fucking fuck! This army should have leveled me up to at least halfway through level 70…
Shit… Well, at least I got a few levels up. Now I just need to figure out how to actually increase my soul repair thingy. With a dejected atmosphere around me, I walked the empty streets of this town.
Well, it was covered in bones from me killing skeletons, but this was now a dead and empty city. Swallowing my annoyance, I started to make my way to where Yona went to. I just hope that she is doing fine…
