Chapter 78: Cold.
*Celia’s POV*
We two cute girls, who are only wearing dresses, are fucking freezing at the moment! I was tempted to go back into the dungeon, but the entrance to it had completely disappeared, and is now just a rock-face. With annoyance, I grabbed Kuria’s hand, and took out a mini dungeon core from my pouch. The annoying thing is that it still didn’t work at all…
Kuria: “Is that a mini dungeon core?” She asked.
Celia: “Yeah, I own a dungeon.” I reply.
Kuria: “It seems that magic will still be completely blocked then… I think and we can not use any magic at all, until we go miles away from this area.” She explained.
Celia: “In this freezing cold!?” I exclaim.
Kuria: “It sucks, but we have no choice.” She said with a sigh.
We can barely even see a few feet ahead of us, though… Why did it have to be a blizzard right when we got out of the dungeon!? Fuck… this is going to be terrible…
*Some Time Later.*
After walking for hours on end, we had to give up for the day and stop walking. The blizzard got worse, so we dug out a hole in the deep snow for shelter. It was still super cold in our makeshift settler, but it was at least better than having your face and body blasted by freezing cold wind.
Kuria: “Celia… Would you disagree with sharing your warmth with the woman that killed you?” She asked with an unsure tone.
Celia: “No, because you just so happen to be quite cute. But would you accept sharing your warmth with a mere mortal such as me?” I reply with a joking tone.
Kuria: “Vexing as it is, I do not wish to freeze to death.” She said with a chuckle.
Since I wished to still mess with her, I walked over to Kuria, and then sat down on her lap. I was smaller than her, so this was probably the best way for us to share our warmth.
In times like this, I truly wish that I had bought some winter clothes. All I have within my pouch, are just dresses. Though, I still took some of them out, to use as blankets.
Even in this shitty shelter, cuddling up with Kuria, and bundling up with the makeshift blanket, I was actually quite warm. At least, I wasn’t freezing cold anymore. I assume that Kuria was feeling the same as well. I mean, she hadn’t complained yet.

Kuria: “The more kindness that you show me, the more that I regret killing you…” She said with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “Haven’t you lived for a long time? I wouldn’t think a being as old as you, would worry about something that happened thousands of years ago.” I say with a calm tone.
Kuria: “Such things would be distant, yes. But you’re here right now, the same soul, even with the same memories. It’s different like this.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “Dying hurt, but nowadays, all of it feels like far off memories. If you’re remorseful about what happened, then just promise me that you won’t hurt me again.” I say with a serious tone.
Kuria: “I promise. And, if you’re willing, could I be your friend? You call yourself a mortal, but I have a feeling that you will end up living for thousands of years.” She asked.
Celia: “Become friends with the woman who once killed me? Sure.” I reply with a giggle.
Kuria: “Thanks! You won’t regret this.” She said with a happy tone.
No. I did not think that I would ever end up meeting my killer, let alone becoming her friend. Am I an idiot for doing this? So far, I haven’t been given any reasons to believe that I am. And, nothing she said has been a lie. Or at least, I haven’t detected a lie coming from her.
Even with the odd environment, I was still able to fall asleep. Though, I am sure that Kuria’s breasts, which I used as a back pillow, helped me fall asleep. Ah, friendship sure is amazing!
*The Next Morning.*
I woke up with a big yawn. Oddly, the beautiful Goddess, Kuria, was still sleeping soundly. Hm… I would have assumed that she’d wake up first. Ah, I know what would wake her up!
Getting up from my comfortable seat, I got a plate of steak out of my pouch. I then pushed it close to Kuria’s face. Within seconds, she was wide awake. Kuria looked to want to scold me, but her stomach acted first, and made a funny noise.
Kuria: “…”
Celia: “Good morning, sunshine! Would your stomach like some delicious steak?” I ask with a smug tone.
Kuria: “Yes.” She replied with a deadpan expression and tone.
Celia: “Aw… it’s no fun if you don’t respond with an interesting expression.” I say with a pout, before handing her the plate.
I then sat down next to her, and got another plate of steak out. Soft bread is good for adventuring, but we aren’t doing that at the moment. Right now, we’re trying to survive, so a full meal will be for the best. Even if it slows us down somewhat.
Once we finished eating, it was now time for us to leave our shelter. We expected this, but to get out, we have to actually dig our way out. I feel as if I made some blacksmith cry, but I used my sword to dig up into the snow.
I dug up, sorta like in that one block game, so it wasn’t hard at all to climb up. The problem being, is that we got covered in much more snow than we originally thought that we would end up being covered in. As such, it took us, or rather, ME an entire hour to just dig out of the shelter.
I was pretty tired from just digging for an entire hour, but eventually, we made it to the surface. Once topside, the weather was luckily, completely, and utterly clear. We could even see the sun shining through.
Kuria: “Well, at least we won’t have to be snowed in again.” She said.
Celia: “True, though, do be careful not to fall into the snow.” I say with a giggle.
Kuria: “Why would I make such a stupid…” Her sentence was cut short.
Why? Oh, nothing. It’s just that she sank a decent ways into the snow, only after walking on it for a few minutes. I guess that I jinxed her? Anyway, I helped her out of the snow, and showed her a good way to walk on it, without falling into the snow.
Like that, we made our way in a random direction, with the hope that we will eventually be able to use magic. Once we can, everything will be miles easier. I mean, I can just teleport us to my dungeon, and then we’re home free! No. I did NOT just jinx myself. You’re just being silly…
