Chapter 14: Why Fight!?

(*Celia’s POV*)

I slept pretty well, which was weird, as this was a complete stranger’s house. When I opened up my eyes, there was a sword pointed at my head. A random woman who I didn’t know was standing on the bed over me.

Celia: “Can I help you?” I ask with a head tilt.

Look, I’ve been through a lot of pain in my life, and I am also immortal. If this person wants to start a fight, then I don’t mind at all. That is, assuming that she isn’t an immortal killer, like with that creature that Amelie encountered…

Woman: “…”

Cemra: “Mona! I told you that she is just visiting!” She exclaimed.

Mona: “Just visiting!? Then why is she sleeping here!?” She exclaimed with an angry tone.

Celia: “Please leave me out of drama. I am just a random person that delivered a package from her sister, and Cemra offered to let me stay with her for a while.” I say with a sigh.

Mona: “I’ve heard the reason, but there is no proof of your words at all! Aren’t you just trying to take my wife away from me!?” She exclaimed.

Celia: “I am a married woman, I’ll have you know!” I reply with an annoyed tone.

Before I could react, Mona grabbed my hand, and then we were in some empty wilderness. Shit… I was just joking about the fucking fight! Both Mona and Cemra are quite cute, so I really don’t want to upset any of them.

Mona: “Now that Cemra can’t stop me anymore, it is time for me to kill you.” She said with an angry expression.

Celia: “Kill me? I’m sorry, but you aren’t strong enough to deal with me. And I have nothing to do with Cemra.” I reply.

The next millisecond, Mona attacked me. But I was faster than her by miles, so I was able to take out my sword in time to block her strike. Mona was clearly angry as she put her entire being into this attack. So she wanted to end me in one go? Funny…

Mona: “…What are you?” She asked.

After this fight, I will still have to look for Amelie, so I was a little upset. I decided to not answer her question, and I started attacking her as well. I didn’t put much force at all into my attacks, and it seemed that Mona realized this as she got even more upset.

Mona: “…If… if you’re stronger than me, won’t Cemra leave me?…” She said with an upset tone.

Celia: “I haven’t known her long, but if she is anything like her sister, then I highly doubt that she would leave you. And especially not because a random person was stronger than you. Aren’t you two also getting married soon?” I reply before attacking her once more.

Mona: “…”

*Some Time Later.*

My comment seems to not do as intended, and just made Mona more angry. Luckily, this place seemed to be not inhabited at all. Which is very good, as we had destroyed a huge portion of it. I say “we” but it was mostly Mona’s doing.

By now, Mona was on her last legs. I clearly hit a swore spot, as the longer the fight went on, the more angry that she got. Constantly, she would yell whenever I used cleaning and healing magic on her. But how could I leave a cute girl dirty and hurt?

Celia: “Are you done yet?” I ask with a sigh.

Mona: “No!” She replied.

Celia: “So you say, but I don’t believe it at all.” I reply with a chuckle.

Mona: “Answer my question from before! What are you!?” She exclaimed.

Celia: “Aren’t you an angel, Mona?” I reply to her question with my own.

Mona: “Both Cemra and I are angels, what does that matter?” She replied.

Celia: “Then your defeat was set at the start. An angel could never win in a fight against a Supreme Goddess.” I answer.

Mona: “…”

Why do I know this despite only being a Supreme Goddess for a small amount of time? Well, the angels back in Cimra’s dimension told me as such. They did in a pretty messed up way, too… They said that if I was weaker than them, then they would have worked together to bed me…

Cemra: “Mona!” She yelled before quickly going to Mona’s side.

Mona: “…”

Cemra: “Are you an idiot!? Even I could tell that this woman was stronger than us!” She said with an angry tone.

Celia: “Cemra, she was upset and not thinking clearly. Please don’t blame her harshly.” I plead.

Mona: “…”

Cemra: “Mona, look! Even after you annoyed her so much, she is willing to let you go.” She explained.

I felt like I could tell these two my domain, as though they weren’t as strong as me, they were both stronger than those other angels. In fact, Cemra was the strongest angels I’ve come across, even beating out her sister by a lot.

Celia: “As a Supreme Goddess of Lesbian Love, how could I kill such a cute girl?” I say with a laugh.

Mona: “Lesbian love… So, you really aren’t making Cemra cheat on me?” She asked with an unsure tone.

Celia: “Cemra surely said as such, but you decided to not trust her words. I know that you were upset, but if you want to be together, then you need to apologize and do better in the future.” I say with a stern tone.

Mona: “I understand… Cemra, I am sorry, I let my emotions get the better of me.” She said with a remorseful tone while looking into her soon to be wife’s eyes.

Cemra seemed to be lost in thought, probably trying to figure out if she should agree with the apology. Maybe? Come to think of it, Mona let her emotions get more than just the better of her. Can’t all angels tell when someone is lying? She must have been far more upset than I originally thought…

Cemra: “Mona, this is my fault.” She said with a remorseful tone as well.

Mona: “Huh? How is it your fault?…” She replied with a confused expression.

Cemra: “Because you let your emotions get to you, you’re absolutely amazing in bed. I thought that leaving this character flaw would be fine, but if it causes problems like this, then I need to help you solve it.” She explained while rubbing Mona’s head.

Celia: “Well, you two lovebirds figure out some things, I will be on my way.” I say before starting to walk away.

Cemra: “Wait! Where are you going?” She asked.

Celia: “To find my mother. Thanks for letting me stay, but it would be best for me to find another place to stay at until I find Amelie.” I explain.

Cemra: “Alright…” She replied with a reluctant tone.

With that, I waved her goodbye, and flew away. Luckily, I could see the same city just a few miles away. Well, it wasn’t a few miles, but at my speed, it might as well have been just a few miles. Standing on top of a building, I thought about my next course of action.

Reacting quicker than when Mona attacked me, I blocked yet another attack. Okay, if people are so fucking attack happy in this place, I now see why Amelie got into a fight. Looking at my attacker, they were in a cloak. Have I upset yet another fucking cult!? Ah, my head is in pain…
