Chapter 92: Shooting Range Day!
(Celia’s POV)
Following Guinevere, we made our way through the building. Just a ten minutes later, we were now inside a private shooting range. Guinevere fiddled with a holographic display for a bit, and then the entire room, which originally just looked like sci-fi chrome room, now looked like a jungle.
Celia: “…”
Even the temperature of the room was changed to fit the theme that Guinevere chose for us to shoot in. Not to the point where it was uncomfortable. It was just a little warm now. Messing with the display more, four targets were put up in front of us, spaced out decently. Ah, so we all get one target to shoot at? Cool.
Guinevere: “I usually prefer this type of environment, but you all can change it if you want.” She said while looking at us.
Yona: “I’ve actually never been in an environment like this, so I like it quite a bit.” She denied.
Celia: “I have, but I also like it as well.” I reply.
Creator: “It doesn’t bother me, either.” She said with a shrug.
Guinevere: “Good. Behind you are a few stations. Just use the display to make any firearm you want to appear. It has ammo as well.” She instructed.
Going over to where she pointed out, there were eight kiosks at the back end of the room. Or should it be called a small jungle?… Regardless, I helped Yona pick out a simple modern designed firearm, as she hasn’t shot one before.
Guinevere took out a large hunting rifle with a wood lower, while the Creator took out a modern shotgun to shoot with. It was kinda odd… the firearms just materialized out of thin air. I was explained how this system works before, but basically, things made this way won’t ever last long at all. At most, they will last a day before they funnily turn into a goopy soup. Things still had to be manufactured by hand or by machine, even in Heaven.
I didn’t take one out yet, as I was going to teach Yona how to use firearms. Teaching her all the things that she needed to know went very quickly. Yona was always a fast learner, it seems. Now it was time for me to help her actually shoot her handgun.
Celia: “Alright, now pull the slide back to chamber a round, and then point at the target. Ah, don’t put your hand on the trigger until you’re ready to shoot, okay?” I instruct while behind Yona.
My chest was pressing up against her back, which probably was somewhat arousing to her. Arousing Yona wasn’t my intention, though. As firearm safety was very important, that was the only reason why I did this. Luckily, Yona understood that I wasn’t trying to seduce her, and she focused on her handgun.
Yona pointed the handgun up at the target, but a little too high, so I had her fix her aim. With Yona’s aim decent, I let her pull the trigger. Once she did, the handgun went off, but she was startled and dropped it. She missed the target as well due her flinching, though I did catch the gun before it fell to the ground.

Yona: “Sorry…” She said with an embarrassed tone.
Celia: “It’s fine. A lot of people drop guns when they first shoot them. Besides, I didn’t teach you a proper grip yet.” I reply with a giggle.
Thinking back, whenever I wasn’t teaching or being begged for money by my parents, I was at a shooting range. Memories are weird like that. I’ve used firearms well up till now, but never questioned it at all. Shaking my head, I gave Yona back her handgun. I flipped the safety on first, though.
Celia: “I’ll show you a proper handgun grip.” I offer, to which Yona agreed.
Once again behind her, my breasts were very much pressed against her back much more than last time. After all, Yona had her hands outreached, pointing the handgun while I taught her a good grip for it. In just a few minutes, Yona learned it with ease.
Taking another shot, Yona managed to not only hit the target, but she hit it on the dead center. With a smile, she emptied the rest of the rounds in the handgun, all of which hit the target. Her bullet spread was very good as well. Ah, I should mention that we’re all wearing hearing protection.
Or, not really? It was weird… There was a feeling of Mana around my ears, which blocked out the sounds of gunfire with ease. But it somehow didn’t block out people talking. Which was very useful, in my opinion. Yona got the hang of it, and she went to go get more ammo for her handgun.
After all, she hadn’t shot it much, so Yona wasn’t bored with that specific handgun just yet. As for me, I went to go get a gun to shoot. While walking back to the kiosks, Guinevere followed along with me. Did she get bored with her gun already?…
Guinevere: “That blurry face woman is odd, and clearly very powerful. But if I had known that you were going to bring your date with you, I honestly wouldn’t have offered sharing this private room with you three.” She whispered with a sigh.
Celia: “Hm? What do you mean?” I reply with a confused tone.
Guinevere: “You were flirting this entire time with that Yona girl. Why else would you directly teach her how to use a firearm, when you can just push a button to beam all the information needed into your mind?” She said with an upset tone.
Celia: “Huh?… Yona is my mother, and I didn’t know about that information beam thingy at all. I am a living person, after all. I am just visiting Heaven with my family for a bit. I do have access to it whenever I want, so I should explore it as I please.” I explain.
Guinevere: “…”
Celia: “I am sorry if I’ve upset you, Guinevere. That wasn’t my intention at all.” I say with a remorseful tone.
Guinevere: “No… it is my fault, sorry. I just got too jealous, even though we don’t know each other much at all. It is funny… being this old, and I oddly don’t know how to properly pursue someone…” She said with a remorseful expression.
Celia: “It’s fine! Let’s just continue to have fun shooting, okay?” I suggest.
Guinevere: “Of course, that would be for the best.” She agreed.
Guinevere quickly got a new gun out and then went back to shooting at her spot. Looking at the display, I took out a very big handgun. It was a D_sert E_gle. An overkill handgun, I know. But I was curious about how well that I could handle the recoil.
Walking over to the last free spot, I got my handgun ready to shoot. Chambering a round, I took aim at the target. Pulling the trigger, I was happy to see that my aim was still very good. With a smile, I shoot the rest of the rounds until the gun was empty. Which didn’t take long, as the ammo for this damn gun was huge as all hell, and it didn’t hold many rounds, either.
All in all, I was able to handle recoil, as if the gun was shooting a round even smaller than 22LR. Which was a super amazing feeling. Though this damn gun wasn’t really any fun to shoot at all. Before going to get an actually good firearm, I informed Yona and the Creator about the information beam thingy. They both used it, and it was just a button on the kiosk like Guinevere mentioned.
Doing it myself, it was amazing how high tech Heaven was. Once again, you wouldn’t expect such a thing at all. Heaven, in most people’s minds, would probably look like a bright and cloudy place with roman buildings, or something. Once the information beam finished, I was given far more information than I thought that I would get.
I now knew how to use, take apart, clean, and even manufacture every firearm in existence. This included firearms in every damn dimension that God knew of. Apparently, God was a gun nut as well, and this was a recent addition to Heaven. I am glad to know that Heaven is being properly taken care of now. Okay, time for more shooting! Ah, this is so damn fun!!!
