Chapter 42: Fresh Hell.
(*Celia’s POV*)
Upon exiting the tunnel thingy, I fell face first onto the icy floor. Oh… so this layers theme is ice? What fun… Oh fuck… I got up too fast, and I ended up throwing up all the contents of my stomach… Am I going to have to go through this for each layer?…
Velta: “I don’t even have a body, and yet that experience was the most hellish thing that I’ve gone through, even though I have been in Hell for a long time…” She said with a sickly tone.
Celia: “I can feel my everything hurting… I want to cry…” I say with a sad tone.
Velta: “I am sure that you can go and cry to your wives later. As for now, we need to get out of here.” She advised.
Celia: “How many layers does Hell even have?” I ask with a curious tone.
Velta: “I have no idea. Each administrator will either add or remove layers. It is hard to say how many layers it has at the moment.” She replied.
Fuck… Okay, where should I go now? This place was an even more hellish frozen wasteland than that one landmass that I was once stuck on. No, really. It was a flat, but frozen plane. There wasn’t much to it…
Truly, this place was Hell. As befitting this place, literally being a layer of Hell. But I think that going in just a random direction might not just be my only choice, but actually the correct choice. I hope…
*Hours Later.*
I was wrong… If it wasn’t for me having fire magic, I would have frozen to death by this point. At least I am still alive… Frankly, I am not that cold either, as my fire magic keeps me decently warm. I won’t be running out of MP anytime soon either.
Velta: “Celia, we have wondered around for long enough.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “And? What do you propose we do differently?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Velta: “Melt the floor and go down instead of walking around.” She proposed.
Celia: “…”
Damn… why didn’t I think of that? Going by her suggestion, I started to melt the floor. A few minutes later, I had fallen into absolutely freezing cold water. No, not the kind of cold when you forget to turn on the hot water while talking a shower, but FREEZING!

This water was FREEZING! The kind of cold that actually hurts. No, really. I am losing HP by the second. My skin is fucking melting off from the cold! Looking up, I could no longer see the hole that I made. Regardless of if I could, the current in the water was far too strong for me to go to the surface.
Rather than up, I looked down into the water. Despite being deep, I could see the entirety of the water. Like, for some reason, it was all lit up. I saw a huge bubble and said bubble had a landmass in it.
It was HUGE! The same size as the last layer of Hell. Was this the real area of this layer? Why was I put on the top of it, then? Whatever… I just quickly swam over to it. My skin constantly burning off was a good motivator to swim as fast as I could.
Once I made it to the bubble, I couldn’t just swim inside of it. The bubble felt like it was metal, rather than a film of soap. I took out a dagger and plunged it into the bubble. Doing so caused me and a lot of water to rush inside. The hole that I made quickly sealed up, but I let in countless gallons of water.
When I regained my barrings, I noticed that I had not only dropped a fuck ton of water on some demons, I even killed a few… Now, the ones that I DIDN’T end up killing, all looked quite pissed off at me…
Velta: “I would suggest for you to run, Celia.” She proposed with a nervous tone.
Run? I am beyond angry at this point, and these demons all clearly want my body. And I don’t mean sexually! They want to kill me so that they can get a new vessel. With an evil grin on my face, I took out my sword and began to kill every demon in my sight. Now keep in mind, there were hundreds of them surrounding me from all sides.
*An Entire Day Later.*
After a long day’s work, I sat down on my comfy chair, and ate some food. Where did I get the chair? No, it wasn’t something I took out of my inventory. Instead, it was a body of a huge demon. Of course, I put a disposable blanket on top of it. I am a Princess, you know? I can’t let my princessy self sit down on a gory messed up demon corpse bare.
Velta: “I understand why my daughter married you…” She said with a shaky tone.
Celia: “How so?” I ask with a head tilt.
Velta: “As you dealt with me via stealth, I assumed that being stealthy was your main way of fighting. Which would mean that you weren’t that strong.” She answered.
Celia: “I do stealth sometimes, but I mainly just fight head on. I took over a kingdom like that, you know? It was pretty fun too. Rushing into the castle after single handily dealing with all of their knights and then beheading the evil king. Ah, what a pleasant memory!” I say with a happy tone.
Velta: “I have underestimated you, I’ll be honest. The lower we get, the easier the demons will be. So if you can handle the demons on this layer, you should be fine.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “I wouldn’t praise me that much. Most of these demons were weaklings, anyway. I am sure that there are far more powerful demons on this layer. You remember Gru? That woman could just sneeze on me, and I would get killed.” I say with a giggle.
Velta: “I am sure that you’re joking about Gru, but she has accidentally done that before. Yeah, Gru isn’t one that most people could mess with. Maybe in my prime… Though, Ria could deal with her.” She said.
Oh shit… really? I thought that Ruina was just joking about the sneezing thing… God bless my good mind! Most people probably would have been stupid, and tried to attack those demons at first sight…
After I finished my food, I looked down at my corpse pile. Hundred of demons lined it, as I made a game of tossing them onto a pile. As I glanced around, I saw a being near the bottom. It was a half naked woman. She was giving me a very interesting gaze…
