Chapter 84: Talk.
(Celia’s POV)
Yona was going through a lot. Her memories coming back weren’t just handled in a day. Instead, it took me four months to somewhat console Yona. She needs someone to be dependent on, and from what she’s said, that was Solia.
Solia is required for Yona to recover from this, but I have no idea if I could go in a whatever order I want of saving people. If I did try, wouldn’t that be me picking favorites? Though, if I went for my wives first, I am sure that no one would complain.
Creator: “Seeing you care for Yona so much… it makes me sad that I cannot be pampered by you like this.” She said with a sad tone.
Yona was sleeping on my bed, as I had just gotten her to calm down enough to sleep. Right now, she needs me to help her through this part of her life. As such, rather than leave, I decided to stay with Yona until she is better. After all, I cannot help her after we leave. I have the rest of my family to save.
With a giggle, I got up from the bed, and walked over to the Creator. Taking her hand, I guided her to my couch. I sat her down on the far left side. The woman was very confused. Which was something that I could tell, even though I cannot see her face.
I then sat down on the far right side, and made the woman willingly accept my lap pillow. The woman’s breathing was rapid, as she clearly didn’t expect for me to pamper like this. Eventually, she calmed down, as I was soothingly rubbing her head.
Creator: “…”
Celia: “This is nice, right? If you want to be pampered like this, all you have to do is ask me.” I say with a smile.
Creator: “I…I don’t deserve this, Celia…” She said with tears rolling down her face, which I only noticed when they reached her chest.
Celia: “Bullshit.” I reply.
Creator: “…”
Celia: “I don’t know who you are, but you’re clearly someone that I care about. Shall I make a guess?” I ask.
Creator: “No.” She quickly denied.
Celia: “Why not?” I say with a head tilt.
Creator: “You’re far too smart, Celia. I highly expect that you could, if not guess who I am, you could, at the very least, guess my purpose.” She explained.
Celia: “Aw… can I please just guess what your purpose is? I’ll make sure to not think about your identity, as I know you don’t want me to know it yet.” I plead.
Creator: “Fine… But the moment you realized who I am, I will erase it from your memory. I’ve already made up my mind to tell you my identity, but it isn’t time for that yet.” She with a defeated sigh.
Alright… so why is she doing this? Frankly… there are many potential answers to this very question. Oh! So that is her purpose!!!
Celia: “You are someone in my family, but from a far-flung future, right?” I assume.
Creator: “…Yes, I am. We…” She answered, but stopped speaking quickly.
Celia: “We?” I say with a head tilt.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Creator: “We… we both came back in time.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “We did? Then… why don’t I remember anything?” I ask with a thinking pose.
Creator: “That was my fault…” She admitted with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “…”
Her fault? What even happened that would require us to go back in time? I… I don’t want to think about it. All the possibilities, and all I can think of is that one, or all of my family members died…
Creator: “You are correct, Celia… Our family died, and you lost your mind because of it.” She said with a sad tone.
Celia: “…”
Creator: “Do you remember that question mark upgrade that you gained a while back?” She asked.
Celia: “I do.” I reply with a nod.
Creator: “I corrupted it on purpose… It was called, Regressors Knowledge, which clearly would have got you to regain your memories.” She explained.
Celia: “Oh? Would it be bad if I regained them? Similar to how Yona is currently?” I ask.
Creator: “I came back on my own, without your knowledge, but you also came back on your own, without me knowing. You were prepared to go back and save everyone. But this messed with my plan…” She said with a groan.
Celia: “What is your plan? Make me hate my family, so that I won’t be so torn up about them dying?” I assume.
Creator: “…Once again, you are correct. But now the plan has changed somewhat.” She replied.
Celia: “What changed?” I ask with a curious tone.
Creator: “After you came to this dimension to save Yona, I gained memories of her being alive at my time. When before, she had died. Originally, it was just you and me who survived. Before leaving, you woke up, and asked me to kill you…” She answered with a confused tone.
Celia: “…”
No wonder she came back, and now I fully understand why she wanted me to hate her. To save me, this woman was more than willing to tear our family apart, and to also make me hate her… Who else could do such a thing? I… I know who she is…
Creator: “Please… Please! I beg of you to stop thinking about this!” She pleaded.
Celia: “But… Ria, how can I sit here and not want to console you? Doing so much for me… do I even deserve such kindness? You… should have just continued living once I die…” My words were cut off.
Ria had taken my lips, the blur on her face now gone. The kiss was sweet, yet sad at the same time. I could feel what Ria was feeling at this very moment. This wasn’t a sexual kiss, far from it. Once we parted lips, I could see Ria in full.
This… this was Ria? Her beauty is multiple levels above her current appearance. Or, at least, from the last time that I saw her. Her beauty was present, but I could tell that she was haggard, almost driven mad about what happened. I… I really asked her to kill me? Was it because I wanted to die, or because I wanted to go back in time to save everyone?
Celia: “Ria… please don’t erase my memory.” I beg.
Ria: “…”
Celia: “We can keep going, right? I can save everyone, and then the future will be fixed. You said it yourself… Yona ended up still alive, so surely the others will as well. Not to mention, I am surely stronger now than I was in the original timeline. I can just feel it.” I say with a serious tone.
Ria was lost in thought, clearly trying to figure out what she should do. After all, Ria obviously never planned on telling me her identity so very soon. It was just a spur of the moment thing. Her emotions got the better of her, she just missed me so much, and my pampering did her in…
Ria: “I… I will give your memory of our talk once you finish saving everyone, okay?” She comprised.
Celia: “…”
Ria: “Please… this is the best that I can offer you, Celia. If… if you still don’t hate me after all this is over, then I will be the happiest woman alive.” She said with a forced smile.
Celia: “I will always forgive and love you, Ria.” I say after giving her a small kiss on her lips.
Ria: “…”
Her face flashed a bright red, clearly as cute as the day that I married her. Ah… I guess that I didn’t get married to anyone yet…
Celia: “You can hide my memory soon, but now, you need to cry.” I propose.
Ria: “Cry?” She said with a raised eyebrow.
Celia: “Originally, we all died, right? That would include me and Amelie. So, please cry. Let it all out, lean on me once more.” I say while hugging her.
Ria: “That’s…” Her words stopped as she started crying.
Ria cried while I hugged her. I don’t recall her ever doing something like this before, so she must have been very, very hurt. After Ria cried for two hours, she had cried enough. This should have been enough, though…
Celia: “Really?” I ask.
Ria: “It isn’t enough, but it will hold me over for a while. Now… once I hide your memory, you will pass out. Okay?…” She said with a nervous tone.
Celia: “Okay. When this is over, I want to kiss you again. Also, just erase the part of the conversation that explains your identity. I want to remember pampering you, at the very least.” I reply with a cheeky tone.
Ria: “…”
She put her hand on my head, and I felt an odd warmth from it. Soon, the memories that Ria wanted to hide were covered in a deep, dark fog that seemed to go on for miles. This will be a literal brain fog… Ah, now I am passing out. Goodbye, my wife, I hope to see you soon…
