Chapter 31: Found One!
(Celia’s POV)
Celia: “Found you!” I exclaimed with a happy tone and expression.
This city wasn’t that lively, so searching each person for if they have any divinity was easy. All in all, besides a very faint divinity coming from this person, there weren’t any other players here.
Danny: “You…” She said with a shocked tone.
Celia: “Hm… do I know you?” I ask with a curious tone after cornering her.
Danny: “You did let me live a few years ago… but I am surprised that you remember me, even when I look like this.” She replied with a laugh.
Celia: “You’re… Daniel, right?” I reply.
Danny: “I was, yes. But I go by Danny nowadays, though.” She clarified.
Celia: “Oh, you look very pretty.” I praise.
The man was no longer a man, and instead, Danny was a beautiful woman. I understand that a lot can change in a few years, but how did this happen?

Danny: “Will you kill me, Celia?” She asked with a serious tone.
Celia: “Why would I?” I reply with a head tilt.
Danny: “Well… I wasn’t originally a woman… Doesn’t that mean that I cannot join your guild, even if it is to escape the game?” She explained with a nervous tone.
Celia: “I don’t think that you became a woman to join my guild. Did you?” I reply.
Danny: “No. It was my decision, as I luckily got a drop, which let me change my sex.” She denied.
Celia: “Then you’re a woman, and always was. You just didn’t know it yet.” I reply with a laugh while rubbing her head.
Danny: “…”
Celia: “In fact, you being a woman on the inside… is likely why I let you live back then.” I say with a thinking pose.
I wanted to talk shop with her more about this idea, but the woman looked to almost be tearing up. Did I end up saying something wrong? I don’t think so…
Danny: “Your validation of me… oddly, makes me very happy. Thank you, Celia.” She said with a thankful tone and with a bright smile.
Celia: “I am glad that I made you slightly happy. Now then, do you wish to leave the game and go to safety, or continue to fight in it?” I ask with a serious tone.
Danny: “I would like to leave the game… I’m sorry if that disappoints you. Prior to getting a female body, I didn’t care much for living. But now that I have it… I don’t wish to die in this game.” She answered with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “Danny, I won’t blame you for this. You aren’t the first woman who wished to leave the game, and you will certainly not be the last.” I reply with a consoling tone.
Like so many times before, I handed her the standards bribes, and then she shortly left the game. And with a bright and happy smile on her face as well! Good Goddess, I love doing good things!!!
