Chapter 71: A Long Path Ahead.
(Zia’s POV)
Rubbing my head, I found myself in a room. Where even was this? My grogginess slowly fades, and I could then tell that I was in a bedroom of some kind. Getting up from the bed, I looked out the window. I didn’t see anything special out of it, though.
Yona: “Why do you look so confused, Ria?” She asked.
Yona, a person that I haven’t seen in a long time… She entered the room after knocking on the door. I stopped myself from rushing to hug her. It wasn’t because it was her. Rather, it was due to how long I’ve missed them all…
Zia: “Going by Ria’s memories… this should be Heaven, right?” I assume in reply.
Yona: “Yes, it is. And you? Who are you?” She replied with a raised eyebrow.
Zia: “I am the Ria that you knew before. That is, the Ria of this timeline. With God’s help, we both merged together. I go by Zia, now, Yona.” I answer with a smile.
Yona: “I see… It’s good to have you back, Zia. Would you like to go meet everyone else?” She proposed.
Zia: “I would rather go save Celia…” I reply with a remorseful tone.
Yona: “Unfortunately, you cannot do so.” She denied.
Zia: “…”
I can’t do so? Ria is still sleeping, it seems. And yeah. Her memories are there, but they are very vague. Is it because I don’t have the full understanding of what happened?
Yona: “Ria is still sleeping, correct?” She asked.
Zia: “She is.” I answer.
Yona: “For now, you can’t go save Celia. And you can’t leave this estate. At least, not until Ria wakes up.” She explained.
Zia: “…”
She didn’t tell me more than that, which just caused me to be confused. From Ria’s memories, Yona and the rest of our family should be far more connected to Celia than before. Why are they okay with waiting?…
God: “Yona, your habit of being vague out of spite is rude. She isn’t Ria right now, but Zia. Zia has never wronged you, ever, you know.” She scolded.
Yona: “…”
God: “Not to mention, but you already decided to forgive Ria for what she did. Keep this up, and Celia will be very upset with you. That is, when she learns about this.” She scolded more.
Yona: “…You’re right… Sorry, Zia.” She said with a remorseful tone and expression.
Zia: “It’s fine.” I reply with a smile.
God: “Anyway, Zia. You have woken up, sure. But you’re very, very weak right now. You must rest, and once Ria is awake, then you deal with the other loose ends that are limiting you.” She explained.
Zia: “Loose ends?” I repeat.
God: “Ria has kept Nia trapped in a singular dimension, and did the same with Lia. Both have constantly tried to escape, causing you to constantly use power to keep them there.” She answered.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
Zia: “…”
God: “Although I took over control of the game, it was, and still is, your power being used. The other dimensions that you froze the time of is another self-imposed limiter on yourself.” She added.
Zia: “What does that matter, though? Ria was doing just fine, even with the limiters that you mentioned.” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
God: “That’s true. But now, said limiters are preventing you from regaining your full power. You can only hope to heal very slowly, and then you can deal with them one by one.” She answered.
Ah, so that is why my Status looks like this? Would Celia be upset if she saw me so injured this badly? I am sure that she would give me the pampering that I deserve…

Compared to my Status from before, this was an absolutely major jump in Stats and power. But even without Ruina here to tell me about it, my HP and MP were clearly not recovering at a decent or acceptable pace.
God: “Did you check your Status? Yes, as you can very much see in detail, your body and soul are damaged.” She explained.
Zia: “Celia… she had a damaged soul like this before… Why am I different?” I ask with a confused tone and expression.
God: “That’s because the damage to her soul was on a far more extreme level. Unbeknownst to you two, I had to save her soul from being destroyed. For you, all that is needed is for you to rest.” She replied with a shrug.
I love Celia so much… Just going by the vague memories of Ria seeing Celia go through that horrible time… just makes me want to give her a loving hug. From looking through her memories, Celia is the being that I respect the most now.
Yona: “God, go away! We need to pamper Zia, as she has gone through far worse than us.” She pouted.
God: “Oh? Why am I so hated? Sure, I accidentally got you all’s shining light kidnapped, but I am a good girl…” She said with fake tears.
Devil: “~Dear Wife of mine.~” She said, appearing out of nowhere, and hugging God from behind.
God: “…”
Devil: “I know that Celia is important to you, but there is work to be done.” She scolded.
God: “…Se” Her words were cut off.
Devil: “No. You cannot get out of doing your work by bribing me with sex.” She denied vanishing and taking God along with her.
Yona: “…”
Zia: “…”
Recalling Ria’s memories of God and the Devil, I decided that such memories were fabrications. Though, it would seem that reality is far sillier than fiction… That woman runs Heaven?…
Ignoring the two weird women, Yona guided me down the stairs. Celia hadn’t saved everyone just yet, but there were still many of my family members present. Including two of my daughters.
Mena and Alisa: “Mom!” They happily exclaimed, running up to me and giving me hugs.
Zia: “…”
I recall Mena, but Alisa was a new daughter of Celia’s. Normally, I wouldn’t accept a stranger calling me “mom” like this, but this girl, Alisa… she already felt like my true daughter. Perhaps it is Ria’s memories affecting my emotions, but I am happy that she accepts me as her mother. Alisa is pretty cute too.
Kami: “Hello, mother in law.” She said with a curtsy.
Oh, this was Alisa’s wife, Kami. How odd… they make a good match. Ria was correct, though. The Will is surely meddling with Celia’s fate. It should have been impossible to find Kami so quickly. Especially when neither Ria nor Celia was even looking for her yet…
Mena: “You’re still hurt…” She said with a sad tone.
Zia: “I am fine, Mena. Don’t worry. I just need to rest for a while.” I reply, lovingly rubbing her cute head.
Oh, how I’ve missed being able to pamper my daughters like this… Of course, I would love to do the same to Celia right now, but I will take what I can get.
Solia: “Everyone, make sure that you watch Zia closely.” She said with a serious tone.
Zia: “…”
Yona: “We all know how much we want to go save Celia, and Zia and Ria think as well as feel the same. But her leaving so injured won’t do any good at all.” She added.
Mena: “Right! I’ll make sure that Zia and Ria stay put.” She said with a salute.
Ah, so you do some military stuff a while back, and now you’re all soldier like for your grandmothers? Where is your filial piety, o daughter of mine?
Alisa: “I will also make sure she is watched!” She added.
Kami: “Though the two are still weakened at the moment, only I possess the strength needed to contain them. As such, I will do the same as well.” She said, playing along with her wife.
Zia: “…”
Even my new daughter and her wife are plotting against me, all for my own safety? Dammit, Ria… This is the karmic event that you get for trying to do the same to Celia. Except, I am the one that has to deal with it! I am going to get her back for this; I swear on Celia!!!
