Chapter 22: Waking Up Happily.

(Celia’s POV)

I don’t know how long that I slept for, but when I woke up, Lia and Nia were next to me, sleeping soundly. Rather than the couch, I was seemingly moved to the bed. Looking out the window, it was now morning.

Lia: “You slept for a while, Celia.” She said with a giggle.

Celia: “Apparently, I was pretty tired.” I reply with an embarrassed tone.

Nia: “That’s right. Lia was afraid that something was wrong with you, but she was just being an overly cautious wife.” She said with a laugh, which ended Lia’s giggling instantly.

Lia: “Hey! You promised not to tell her about that…” She said with a pout.

Nia: “I didn’t do that at all. You asked me to not tell her, but I just remained silent in response to your pleading.” She replied with a shrug.

Soon, our morning ritual was carried out. Lia and Nia tenderly washed my body off in the bath, even though we have cleaning magic which does such a thing in seconds. Then, I made some breakfast for us, and we ate until we were full.

Despite our large Hunger Stats, we like to keep them topped up. If we wanted to, we could probably go for a few hundred years without eating at this point. Which is probably just another reason why Higher Beings sleep for so long…

Waving them goodbye, I went to our guild headquarters. It was in the same place as last time, and like before, there was a large line. Did I sleep through the entire second part of the game?

Faith: “You did. This dimension has already filled up on its limit of people, and Maralia also rigged it to only have females. Though stronger, they will most likely wish to leave the game, rather than fight alongside you.” She explained without being asked.

Not surprising in the least. Perhaps only when the other players start to be Higher Beings will they then be willing to stay in the game. But, for now, I just have to act as some kind of savior for most of them.

Celia: “Everyone, please wait patiently in line, and you will get your turn to…” My words were cut off.

Ria: “Celia, I know that you care a lot for women, but this setup isn’t optimized in the least.” She said with a laugh, ending my words then and there.

Rushing to her, I quickly gave Ria and Zia hugs and kisses. Even in the same body, I still saw them as two different people, so I must give them each the love that they very much deserve from me.

Zia: “Lovely-dovey stuff can come later. This building isn’t needed. Why do it like this, anyway?” She said, softly breaking up the PDA.

Celia: “What do you mean?” I reply with a head tilt.

Zia: “Cute head tilt… I have missed them. Ah, and, let’s do it like this. Everyone who wishes to stay in the game, go to one side, and those that wish to leave, go to the other side.” She said loudly, using magic to amplify her voice.

As expected, all of the women had wished to leave the game. But what wasn’t expected in the least… was that Ria showed me that I could just send out mass invites to our guild. Why the fuck wasn’t I told about this? Faith, I hear you whistling like you didn’t hear Ria inform me of this! You cheeky sister!!!
