Chapter 18: Newest Dimension!
(Celia’s POV)
It goes without mentioning, but Ria wasn’t there next to me. She had other work to deal with. Which was basically just going through the dimensions that she sent our family to, and figuring out what changes have been made.
Of course, she also finds it entertaining, so she won’t spoil anything for me. But she really doesn’t like being surprised by things. Such as what happened to us meeting Solia and Yona. Ria is a bit of a control freak, you see.
With that little detail, you should be able to understand why no one saved me in time. But it wasn’t anything to worry about. With my Nano Machines, I was confident that I could survive whatever gets thrown my way. That being said, I didn’t expect this dimension to be like this…
Woosh!
Flying overhead was a large, demonic looking wyvern. This wasn’t Hell, though. Instead, it seemed to be an apocalyptic fantasy world. Perhaps somewhat similar to Garentia’s destroyed Heaven.
The world was barren and black. The trees looked to be recently burned down, their ashes littering the ground. Around me was the horrible smell of death, decay, and burning, charring things. Why does this place look more like Hell than any layer of it that I’ve been to?
Looking around, there clearly wasn’t any living thing within sight. That is, unless you count that wyvern. But it did look somewhat like a zombie. Or rather, maybe it was a rot wyvern? It didn’t look like a normal undead thing.
Ah… this is confusing… With nothing better to do, I decided to walk around. My danger sensors weren’t going off, so I let my guard down. This would turn out to be an amazing mistake… Not! There wasn’t anything here to hurt me!
Maybe that wyvern would like a bite of me, but I haven’t it seen it in a while. In my boredom, I have omitted a few hours of boring walking, where nothing of interest happened to me.
I kinda wonder if the entire dimension is like this. If it is, then it would suck. But if not, then I should make my way out of this horrible area. With a sigh, I continued walking in a random direction, hoping for something interesting to happen so that I won’t be bored any longer.
Hours Later.
Cough!

That was me coughing, by the way. It would seem that, being in an area that was recently burned to the ground, is very bad for your health. Who would have thunk it, huh? Regardless, I am dying…
Nano Machines: “Are you insane!?” She asked.
Celia: “With the amount of times that someone has asked me that question… I honestly might be.” I reply with an unsure tone.
Nano Machine: “…”
Celia: “…”
This wasn’t Ria, nor Ruina, so I can only assume that it is one of my Nano Machines talking to me. This would be a first for me. Why have these things been so quiet for so long?…
Nano Machine: “Apart from helping you with your body, there really wasn’t anything for us to help you with. Due to that, we could focus far more on your body.” She explained.
Celia: “Oh.” I reply.
Nano Machine: “Look… you’ve breathed in too much smoke. You need to get to fresh air within an hour, or you will end up passing out.” She said with a serious tone.
Celia: “Oh.” I reply.
Nano Machine: “Why such a simple reply!?” She yelled in anger.
Celia: “Rot Wyvern.” I answer with a deadpan tone and expression.
Nano Machine: “Oh…” She replied.
Flying just slightly above the nonexistent treeline was that same rot wyvern that I saw earlier. I knew it was the same, as it had a distinct rot pattern on its wings. I wonder if it is the only of its kind?
Roar!
Aw… I was hoping that it would be a nice nightmare creature… What a shame! I heard a bubbling sound, and then the wyvern shot a fireball at me. Fucker! Wyverns shouldn’t be able to use fire!!!
Well… I guess that it wasn’t fire breath, but a shitty fireball. It wasn’t really that effective, either. I mean, the ground was left with a large, fiery indent. But I was easily able to dodge the attack.
Celia: “Can I even run from this thing?” I ask.
Nano Machines: “Look… things like this don’t exist in our original dimension. We have no data to go on, Celia. That being said… fucking run, please!” She begged.
With a smirk, I decided to be a hero. And by that, I meant to run away like a heroic coward. If I was in my original body, I could easily deal with this lizard. My Nano Machines recommend running away, so I should follow their advice.
Much Running Later.
Thud!
My breathing was labored due to running around so much. And I hurt my legs from dodging just now. Why did I have to dodge? Very simply put, the damn wyvern seemingly got pissed off and landed to block my escape.
Crunch!
A bite was lunged at me from the beast, but I dodged it. In my own annoyance, I swung my fist to punch his head, that was now at my side. The punch was strong enough to tear the wyvern’s head clean off.
Celia: “…”
Nano Machines: “…”
This wasn’t a fluke, either. The wyvern really wasn’t a zombie, as taking off the head killed it. I was about to celebrate as well as berate myself for being so afraid, but something bad happened…
The hand that I used to attack with was now in the process of rotting. Basically, wherever the rotted blood got on my hand and arm, was where the rot was happening. Oh, so that’s why no one tried to fight it…
Nano Machines: “Oh my god… What even is this?” She asked with a confused tone.
Celia: “Rot magic.” I reply.
Nano Machines: “Rot magic? How do you know that?” She said with a confused tone.
Celia: “Look through my memories, I am not a normal human at all.” I reply.
Nano Machines: “…”
Though, going through all of my memories would take a long while to do. Even if I have hundreds of thousands of microscopic super computers within my body, it will take them a while to process them all. As such, I stood there, wondering how I would be able to survive this…
