Chapter 41: Stop Your Past Self!
(*Celia’s POV*)
Once the teleportation was over, we ended up back in Heaven. High up in the sky was where the crystal was located. God… this really isn’t the best place to hide something so important… Even if it is hidden inside a floating building.
God: “Don’t give me that look! This building is completely invisible.” She said with a pout.
Celia: “So you say, but Tia found it pretty easily.” I reply with a smug expression.
Since Tia is my wife now, her achievements are things that I can gloat about! Of course, she can do the same to my achievements as well. This is an equal relationship, after all.
Tia: “I cheated in that department. Those creatures showed me to its location.” She said with a giggle.
God: “Damn… I will get them back for betraying me like this!” She exclaimed.
Tia: “It’s not really betrayal. Unlike you, by past self showed great interest in running Heaven.” She said with a shrug.
God: “…”
Hmm… I wonder why it feels so good to give cheek to such a powerful being like God? Eh, I’ll just chop it up to me being cheeky. Oh, wait… What happens once we change the future!? Won’t Tia go away!?
Tia: “You don’t have to worry about that, Celia.” She said with a reassuring tone.
Celia: “Can you read my mind? No, that isn’t important! What will happen to you?” I ask with a nervous tone.
Tia: “I will merge into my past self. As for the time where I came from, that will just be a different timeline. It won’t disappear, but it also will not be the main timeline of existence anymore.” She explained.
Celia: “…”
God: “Celia, don’t bother trying to think about this too much. Time travel is always convoluted.” She advised.
Hey! I like learning about things, so of course I will think about this!!! Ah, never mind… My head hurts far too much to think about this for more than a few minutes… While thinking about this complex thing, Tia had picked me up in a princess carry very quickly. Standing where I once was, was another Tia…
Celia: “…”
Noooooo! My wife has betrayed me!!! Eh, this isn’t actually my Tia, so it is fine. Well, she isn’t my Tia yet, but she will be soon.
Tia: “Hey now, don’t go hurting your wife.” She said with an angry tone.
Garentia: “Me?…” She said with a confused head tilt.
Tia: “That’s right. I am you from the future. With the help of God, I have come back to this time to stop myself from doing something that I will regret.” She explained.
Garentia: “Hah… I stupidly believe you. But regardless, I am sure that you wish to combine with me, right?” She assumed.
Tia: “That is correct.” She said with a nod.
Garentia: “Then fight me! If you want to fix your supposed mistake, then you have to win against me first.” She exclaimed.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
A fight between Creators isn’t something that even I can get involved in. As such, I went over to God’s side. Clearly taking a side role, even with her returned power, God was once again cheering on the sidelines.
Celia: “Can I cheer with you?” I ask.
God: “Sure! The more the merrier!” She replied with a smile.
Devil: “Can I cheer as well?” She asked.
God: “Yeah, why not?” She replied a shrug.
So cold to your own daughter… The Devil, now in her full body, randomly showed up near us. Like before, she is very beautiful. If it wasn’t for Tia, I might still be lusting after the Devil’s tasty looking body… Huh, what? Why am I lusting after the Devil?…
God: “Devi! Turn off your seduction magic this instant!!!” She demanded.
Devil: “Tch! Fine!” She said with a pout.
Celia: “…”
God: “Are you okay, Celia? Devi was trying to seduce you with her magic. Even though your wife, Ria, has far more powerful seduction magic than vampires and succubuses, Devi’s is far stronger.” She asked with a concerned tone.
Celia: “I see… Thanks for helping me. I completely forgot that the Devil was after my body.” I say with a sigh.
Devil: “Your body is nice, I agree, but I am far more after your heart, dear.” She whispered in a seductive tone in my ear.
Tia: “…”
Even in a horrible battle with her past self, Tia still heard our conversation. Taking time out of the fight, Tia threw a sword with embedded itself in the wall right next to where the Devil was standing. So close, that the sharp blade almost touched her ear…
Celia: “That’s one of my wives, Tia.” I explain.
Devil: “Ah, so I just tried to seduce you while your wife was in the room? How funny.” She said with a hearty laugh.
God: “You know, none of you are doing cheering…” She said with a sigh.
Devil: “I am far more focused on Celia. Though, she is too young for me at the moment. I will find and seduce her a few thousand years from now.” She said with a shrug.
Okay, cool… So I have a few thousand years before I have to worry about the literal Devil trying to seduce me. Ignoring her comment, God and I started cheering for Tia. Though, because they both had the same name, it seemed to have just given them both some confusion.
*Hours Later.*
The building that housed the crystal was now almost completely destroyed. Much to God’s anger, as she willingly expressed. The future Tia was on a different level compared to her past self. Due to that, past Tia had no choice but to give up.
Tia: “So? Will you let me merge with you?” She asked.
Garentia: “I refuse! I need to get more slaves! My lust demands it!” She denied while on her knees, covered in blood.
Tia: “Once we merge, you will gain all of my memories. Trust me, we played to our heart’s content. So much so that slaves are no longer my domain.” She said with a reassuring tone.
Garentia: “…Alright… Not like you were going to give me another option, anyway. I do know myself well, after all.” She said with a defeated sigh.
Putting her hand on her past self’s head, damn, this is a confusing sentence… Tia disappeared into a bright light, with only one version of Tia remaining. She looked at me, and I could tell that this was my Tia. Not her past self.
Tia: “Now, I can finally continue living with you, my dear.” She said while giving me a hug.
Celia: “Dear? Please don’t get influenced by the Devil.” I say with a laugh.
Tia: “Not a good thing to call you? But coming up with a nickname would be hard…” She said with a thinking pose.
Celia: “Just call me as you want, then.” I give in.
Tia: “Great!”
Doing this little chat, God and the Devil watched us. Their gazes were sorta odd, like they were our parents, or something like that…
Devil: “Mother, will you be actually overseeing Heaven now?” She asked with a serious tone.
Celia: “If you don’t, then I will make you regret it.” I say with a stern tone and expression.
God: “…Threating me, God, like this… I swear, sometimes I question my own creations… Yeah, I will be taking care of Heaven from now on. Starting with the mess that Garentia did, and then with that AI woman.” She answered.
Oh, yeah… What happened to that woman, anyway? Originally, she was the main problem for Heaven, but Tia swooped in and took over that interesting position.
Celia: “What happened to the AI?” I ask with a curious tone.
Tia: “Celia… I killed her…” She admitted with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “She is an AI, killing her really isn’t possible. At least, not fully.” I reply with a confident tone.
Devil: “She is our mutual friend. For now, her soul is within me. It will be a few hundred years before her soul is repaired. Garentia did a number on her, after all.” She explained.
With that, I happily left with Tia in tow. It took just a few minutes to find Amelie and Alisa. I lied. I didn’t have to find them, as they were still back in the angel’s dimension. As such, we went straight there. Once there, Cimra gave me an amazing shock…
