Chapter 88: This is...

(Yona’s POV)

Yona: “Where?…” I say to no one at all.

What and where this place is, was very obvious. This is Hell… I was supposed to be going to Heaven on a trip with my daughter. Instead, I ended up getting sent to Hell… With all that I’ve done, this is quite fitting, to say the least. Knowing Celia, she didn’t plan for this to happen to me.

Celia didn’t keep anything from that dimension, but I kept my storage rings. Taking out a knife, I once again contemplated ending my own life. This time, my daughter will not be here to stop me. Taking a deep breath, and then letting it out, I pointed my knife at my heart, and I was ready to die.

Yona: “…”

Once again, someone stopped the knife before it could reach me. Did Celia find me so soon? The person that stopped the blade was behind me. Turning around, I was face to face with a very beautiful woman. But this wasn’t Celia at all. Who is she, and why did she save me?…

Alenta: “I owe Celia a favor, but I won’t count this as fulfilling it.” She said with a laugh.

Yona: “Who are you?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Alenta: “I am Alenta, the current Administrator of this specific Hell. How did you end up here, anyway?” She replied.

Yona: “Celia was taking me to visit Heaven, but for some reason I got sent to Hell instead.” I answer.

Alenta: “That so? You must have not had permission to do so. Anyway, until Celia comes to find you, which I am sure that she will, I will watch over you. That is, I will not let you kill yourself, either.” She replied.

Yona: “…”

Alenta: “Your sins aren’t heavy, nor do will you ever end up in Hell when you die. And yet, you wish to die for your sins? How silly… How about we do a little game?” She proposed.

Yona: “Game?” I reply.

Alenta: “Yes, a game. Let me show you how much Celia loves you. Only then will you realize that you’re already forgiven in her eyes.” She replied.

A what kind of game would an Administrator of Hell even come up with? Just thinking about this makes me very nervous…

Yona: “Can you be more specific?” I ask.

Alenta: “Simply put, I will lie and say that you ended up dying. Then I will agree to make a new body for you, but only if Celia does something for me in return.” She explained.

Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.

Yona: “That won’t work.” I disagree.

Alenta: “Why not? Celia truly loves you.” She replied with a head tilt.

Yona: “Celia is a Supreme Goddess, she will easily tell that you lied.” I answer.

Alenta: “…That’s fine. I will just come up with a roundabout way to trick her.” She replied with a shrug.

Yona: “…”

Alenta took my hand, and then the world flashed for a bit. Once I could see again, I was in an interesting room. It was similar to that house that the Creator made for me to rest in. Is this just a standard design, or something?…

Alenta: “Welcome to my house. You can stay here until Celia saves you. Ah, as you can see, I have ten maids in just this room alone. You will not be able to end your own life here. Oh, and I will prepare a screen that will show you what Celia is thinking and doing, okay?” She explained.

Looking around the room, I could see that she wasn’t joking at all. Not to mention, the maids were stronger than me by miles. Even if I wanted to do something, they could easily and quickly stop me before I even have the chance.

Alenta: “How about a little chat?” She suggested.

Before speaking, Alenta and I had sat down on a couch in the room. The couch was of an amazing quality. I am sure that Celia would enjoy sitting on a couch this amazing…

Yona: “About what?” I reply.

Alenta: “About Celia, of course. She is a very interesting woman, after all.” She answered with a giggle.

Yona: “Celia has been on a lot of adventures lately. Most of them I am not aware of. I honestly can’t explain to you anything that you don’t already know.” I reply with a shrug.

Alenta: “Alright then… How about explaining why you want to die? It honestly baffles me greatly. Celia, and the rest of your family, surely loves you.” She compromised.

Yona: “…Okay.” I agree.

Thus starting me explaining what had happened in that dimension. It took a while to explain, but Alenta listened intently the entire time. It was… odd. Getting this off my chest to someone that has no stake in our family gave me an odd sense of closure. Looking at the clock on the wall, I somehow talked for over a few hours…

Alenta: “From what I’ve heard, Yona, you aren’t a bad person at all.” She said with a sigh.

Yona: “…”

Alenta: “You’re just making a small thing into a big problem. Celia already forgives you, but you feel like you shouldn’t be forgiven, right?” She assumed.

Yona: “I think so…” I reply.

Alenta: “Then this isn’t a problem that Celia can solve. Only you can. Rather than a game, I will ask something absurd of Celia. You will watch how Celia will easily give it all up, just to be able to save you.” She said with a serious tone.

Yona: “…”

Alenta: “You will then understand Celia’s forever enduring love for you, and you will no longer have an excuse to end your life. Celia will prove with her actions that she forgives you. This is a hurdle that only you can get over, but I shall help in any way that I can.” She said with a smile.

Yona: “But…” I try to say, but she cuts me off.

Alenta: “No buts! I have already decided! Now, Celia has been in Hell for a while.” She informed.

Yona: “For a while?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Alenta: “Actually, she showed up just a few minutes after you ended up here. What a faithful daughter she is…” She said with a wishful tone.

Yona: “Is she… okay?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Alenta: “Celia? Are you kidding me? She is a Supreme Goddess right now. Very little in Hell can actually be trouble for her.” She said with a laugh.

Yona: “That’s good.” I say with a relieved tone.

Alenta: “Now, now. I will go set up the play. You just sit here and watch.” She said with a smile.

The woman, Alenta, then vanished from the couch, probably going to find Celia and talk to her. Before my eyes, a holographic screen appeared in front of the couch. If I was to make a guess, this screen was probably similar to Celia’s System. I… what will I end up seeing and hearing?…
