Chapter 40: Date.
(*Celia’s POV*)
Once she asked, I told Tia everything that I knew about my *situation* without holding anything back at all. Much to God’s annoyance, as I out right admitted to it all. From how certain Tia was, I can only assume that there were cameras in my room.
Celia: “Though we plan to leave, could you please remove the cameras in my room?” I ask with a sigh.
Tia: “You knew about them?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Celia: “Nope, but you just confirmed it.” I reply with a laugh.
Tia: “…”
God: “Hah! Serves you right, Garentia! Now you have to deal with Celia’s cheekiness as well!” She said with a smug tone.
Celia: “Go away, God! We’re bonding at the moment.” I say with an annoyed tone.
God: “Oh, come on! I had to be completely silent for days!” She exclaimed.
Celia: “I feel like that is your fault.” I reply with a shrug.
God: “…”
Tia: “God’s annoyance aside, I will have them remove the cameras from you room. And, I am sorry that I put them there.” She said with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “It’s fine, I don’t mind that much.” I reply with a shrug.
Tia and I chatted about random things while ignoring God’s existence almost completely. This is good, as she still needs some punishment for letting things get this bad, after all. I mostly talked about my life, and it was kinda fun to see Tia’s reaction to my up-to-date life story.
Tia: “Celia, we’ve made it to the aquarium.” She informed.
Celia: “Awesome!” I reply with an excited tone.
Like at the party, Tia got out of the car first, and then helped me out of it. Once outside, I realized that the place was completely empty. What the heck? Please tell me that Tia didn’t rent out the entire place…
Tia: “The grand opening for the aquarium is in a month, but it is ready to be explored.” She said with a giggle.
Celia: “…”
Ah, did I show my thoughts on my face? Damn… With that, Tia and I went into the aquarium. With magic, a normal aquarium would be just far too basic. Instead, the “tanks” that held the fish were actually magic bubbles. Similar to that one level of Hell, it was a closed off environment for the fish inside a bubble.
It was probably the most magical thing that I’ve laid my eyes on. Ever! It truly sucks that I can’t take my wives here to experience this place… I am sure that they would love it. I mean, I do…
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Tia: “What’s wrong?” She asked.
Celia: “Ah, nothing. Don’t worry. I was just a little upset that I won’t be able to take my family here to experience this place.” I reply.
Tia: “It is a shame… One day, I will make a new version of this aquarium just for you.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “That would be amazing!” I reply with a happy smile of my own.
Grabbing one of Tia’s hands, I dragged her around the aquarium. I wish that I could use a System here, since it would be fun to inspect all the different kinds of fish present. But it was still fun to look at them, regardless.
*Some Time Later.*
How did this happen!? Currently, those black stone angel creatures were surrounding Tia and me. Have they decided to revolt against Tia, since she plans to give up on this place?…
Celia: “Tia, are they upset?” I ask.
Tia: “Upset? More like, they want me to not leave this time period. If I do, they will cease to exist, which isn’t something that they want at all.” She answered.
Celia: “So… are the fun times over?” I ask with a sigh.
God: “Yes! Garentia, take us to my damn crystal so that we can go back!” She ordered.
Tia: “Not yet.” She replied.
God: “Why not!?” She exclaimed.
Tia: “First, we have to deal with them. Only I know where the crystal is. If we guide them to it, taking control of it would be hard.” She explained.
God: “Dammit…” She replied with an annoyed tone.
For once in a long time, I actually needed someone to protect and help me fight. Usually, I am the one doing that… Anyway, Tia and I both worked together to kill our enemies. Swarming the aquarium like flies, they were thousands of them. Of course, God had an important role to play as well.
God: “Fight! Fight! If you fail, we will be trapped here in this ruined timeline!” She exclaimed.
Tia: “…”
Celia: “…”
Okay, her role was just being a shitty cheerleader. But it’s not like she could actually help us fight. Her strength was poultry at the moment, and these creatures could easily deal with her. It wouldn’t even be a challenge…
*Hours Later.*
With much messing around, as I didn’t want any of the fish to die, we eventually killed those creatures. Apparently, from what Tia said, she didn’t make them. They just randomly showed up while taking over Heaven, and they have followed her since then.
God: “Those are Heaven’s helpers. Usually, they don’t do such things. But with Garentia being in control, they follow her desires.” She explained.
Celia: “That so?” I reply while using cleaning magic on Tia and I.
God: “…You can at least pretend to be interested in what I am saying, Celia.” She said with a pout.
Celia: “Oh, I am. But teasing you like this is just too fun.” I reply with a giggle.
God: “…”
Tia: “We should head to the crystal now. It will take an hour or two for more of them to show up.” She proposed.
Just an hour!? It took us so long to kill a few thousand of them, and they can easily replenish themselves? While I was lost in thought, Tia picked me up in a princess carry, and flew out of the aquarium. Luckily, God grabbed onto me before we left.
After flying for a few minutes, we ended up at an interesting location… Back where we first showed up!!! No, really. Even in the barren desert, I could still tell that this was the place we first ended up in. Tia landed, and then she used some kind of magic to reveal a hidden underground chamber…
Celia: “God, why didn’t you notice this?” I ask with a vein appearing on my forehead.
God: “…No comment.” She replied with a deadpan expression.
Tia: “…”
Walking into the chamber, we came face to face with a giant crystal. Frankly, it looked like a save point in a fantasy game… God touched it, and then the room flashed a bright white color. Once the light was gone, Tia looked the same, but now God had her full form back.
God: “Alright! Now you two, grab on, and let us go back to the past!” She proposed.
Tia grabbed on to God’s shoulder, and I grabbed on to the free one. With God holding onto the crystal with both hands, everything flashed white once more. Now, we were in a pure white teleportation thing. Hopefully, this one won’t take long to complete…
