Chapter 4: Anything Else?

(*Celia’s POV*)

As the only work that I knew of that I could was depressing, not counting helping Cimra out with her work, I went back to reading. Frankly, it seems that they don’t have access to make books to read at all. In fact, most of the books seem to be in really bad shape…

I can only assume that they’re pickups from when these angels go to other dimensions. Funnily enough, I’ve had many angels come to my apartment and ask me about borrowing a book. Apparently, the apartment I was given, was where they stored them, as they didn’t have a library at all.

Celia: “Cimra, it seems that you don’t have much entertainment here.” I say after handing her some documents.

Cimra: “I’ll admit to that, but we’re very busy most of the time. I understand that you’re bored, and I greatly appreciate you helping me with my work, but is there really nothing else for you to do?” She asked.

Celia: “I’ve already read all of books that you have here, so no, I have absolutely nothing to do.” I reply with a sigh.

Cimra: “…Celia, please answer me this question. Why do I sense Hell on you?” She asked with a serious tone.

Celia: “Because I am actually a very evil Goddess who is tricking you all! Not! A while back, an annoying person, who ended up becoming my mother-in-law, sent me to Hell as a trap. Before you ask, I did escape, and with the permission of the current administrator of the Hell in my dimension.” I explain.

Cimra: “Hm… No doubt, one of the main reasons you survived was because you’re married to a Death Goddess.” She surmised.

Celia: “You know, Nia never told me about going through these tests and exams.” I say with a thinking pose.

Cimra: “Death God’s and Goddesses are death’s domain. They don’t need to go through any testing at all.” She replied.

Celia: “Really? I see… Why bring up the hell smell?” I ask with a curious tone.

Cimra: “Just confirming that you can come and go through different dimensions like us. Here, take this teleportation crystal. Head to a modern dimension, and buy as much entertainment as you can get your hands on.” She said before handing me a blue crystal.

Unlike last time, I am sure that this one wasn’t candy… Cimra gave me some money to use, but I denied her funds. It will be good to spend money on entertaining your employees, but they need that money, and I have more than enough to spare.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

Besides, their money was in a currency that I didn’t understand. At the very least, Celestium was just various types of metal. I could easily convert them into whatever currency they use in a modern dimension. Cimra was hesitant to let me pay, but I quickly ran out of her off and off the edge of the floating island, way before she could convince me otherwise.

Sometimes, I have to thank Velta, as going through all of those layers has given me immunity to these annoying teleportation thingies. Now, I just chill out and read something while waiting. Once I arrived, I ended up in an odd spot…

Maid: “Excuse me, but even if you get on board by unheard of magical means, this private yacht is still reserved.” She said with a respectful tone.

Yeah, I ended up on a huge ass boat in the middle of the fucking ocean… Ah, was there an execution being carried out? A very beautiful woman was pointing a handgun at a man. The man had his hands tied behind his back.

Tied up Man: “Please help me!” He pleaded.

Celia: “What’s the deal with this situation?” I ask with a head tilt.

Beautiful Woman: “Please don’t tell me that some divine intervention will prevent me from getting revenge…” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Does magic exist in this world?” I ask the maid near me.

Maid: “No.” She replied.

Celia: “Hm… well, then this is harder to explain… But anyway, I am just here by random chance.” I reply with a shrug.

Maid: “So you won’t prevent Tana from getting revenge?” She asked.

Celia: “Depends on why you plan to kill this man. I mean, you took him out here in the middle of the ocean, probably waters with no laws, right?” I reply with an unsure tone.

Tied up Man: “Please! She is just acting crazy, I swear! Just save me already! I’ll pay you millions!” He pleaded once more.

Tana: “Don’t listen to him! This bastard raped and murdered my sister and my mother. He deserves the worst kind of death imaginable!” She exclaimed before aiming at the man, with clear intent to kill him before I could help.

Before she could fire the gun, I snatched it out of her hands. Well, I wish that I was what I did, but I wasn’t fast enough. Though, I prevented Tana was killing the man, he still funnily enough got shot in the leg.

Tana: “Why did you stop me!?” She asked with an angry tone.

Celia: “Are you high? He didn’t do the crimes that you’ve accused him of.” I reply.

Tana: “What the hell are you talking about?” She asked with a confused tone.

This woman seemed to be very smart, but she wasn’t thinking clearly, as revenge was all that was on her mind at the moment. The man didn’t give off an evil vibe, and he was absolutely confused about this situation. With a sigh, I walked over to him and used healing magic.

Tana: “You can use magic? I can’t believe that you used it on him…” She said with an upset tone.

Celia: “Get revenge if you want, but you need to think calmly about it. If you don‘t, you’ll make mistakes like this again.” I advise with a stern tone.

Tana: “What do you mean?” She asked with a confused expression.

Oh, come on! It is so blatantly obvious, that even that Velta with a sex-addled brain could figure it out! With another long sigh, I ripped the man’s head off. No, not really! He was wearing a fake face, which clearly resemble the man that Tana wanted to kill. Underneath the mask, was a man that didn’t look like the fake face at all.

Tana was shocked to see what I revealed to her. So much so, that she passed out. Her maid luckily caught her, which was good. You shouldn’t let cute girls get hurt, you know? Regardless, it seems that I am now involved in another annoying event… I just wanted to buy some fucking lewd lesbian novels!…
