Chapter 73: Into the Dungeon!
*Celia’s POV*
Well, it’s not like I DON’T want to get stronger, but I would surely rather spend my time relaxing with Ria, Nia, and Lia. I mean, who wouldn’t? Unfortunately, Ria informed me that we would arrive very soon.
Celia: “Aw… But I wanted to relax with you all longer…” I say with a pout.
Lia: “We can relax more when we get back.” She said with a sigh.
Nia: “She’s right, Celia. We should focus on the dungeon.” She said with a giggle.
Celia: “Could you tell us what happens, so that we can be better prepared?” I ask with a curious tone.
Nia: “Could I? Yes. But, Celia, figuring out what every second of my day will be like, would just drive me insane. I only look at the future for important matters.” She replied.
Celia: “Ah, I guess that would be depressing… Sorry for asking.” I say with a remorseful tone.
Nia: “It’s fine, it’s fine. Now then, shall we go exploring?” She asked.
Lia: “Whatever we will find, it won’t be anywhere as crazy as Celia’s dungeon. So we should be fine.” She said with a giggle.
Celia: “Right…” I say with a sigh.
I then tried to get out of the carriage, but Nia, Lia, and even Ria, fought over who would help me step out of the carriage. Girls… You all do realize that none of you are even dating me at the moment, right?…
With a sigh, I played a little game with the jealous women. I had Lia help me out of the carriage, to which the other two looked upset, but then I got back into the carriage. Then I did the same with both Ria and Nia. Now, all of you should be happy, right? Ah, they do look happy. Mission success!
Walking with them, we end up in a forest with other students. In total, there are ten teachers present. Hadi being one of them. The dungeon that the academy found, was a completely unexplored one, which had only recently appeared. Um… does this planet just birth dungeons now? Was that the reason why monsters started showing up, even a very long time ago?…
That would be pretty interesting, though I do not remember encountering any dungeons at all during that time. Maybe I just missed them? Regardless, the Guild is protecting this dungeon, and no one has entered it at all yet. No monsters have come out either, so no one really knows what will be in it.
We would be split into groups watched by teachers, and then explore the dungeon. Oddly, Hadi was the only one who would agree with watching my group. And, we were even chosen to be the first ones to enter it. The other teacher’s reasoning was, that my group, which somehow even included Ria, was the strongest in the academy.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
I didn’t even realize this… Is everyone else this weak? Fuck… I truly wish that I was stupid enough to use Inspect on random people… While I was thinking this, my group had gone into the dungeon already. Apart from Lia, Nia, Ria, Hadi, and I, there were five other students in our group. None of them looked interesting to me, I didn’t even bother to get their names.
Celia: “Hadi, isn’t this a pretty dangerous class? To just send random students into an unexplored dungeon.” I ask with a curious tone.
Hadi: “Lady Celia, I feel like you have the wrong impression. Our goal isn’t to completely explore this dungeon, but to experience being in one.” She answered.
Celia: “Ah, that makes more sense. How are we even graded?” I ask.
Hadi: “To avoid people rushing into dangerous situations just to get a good grade, as long as you survive, you get graded.” She explained.
Her explanation made a lot of sense. Whether the random student that ran in front of us actually heard her or not, I have no idea. But what I did know, was the girl that looked to be a mage, stepped onto a trap. With my overwhelming desire to protect cute girls, and as this girl was decently cute, I rushed over to her.
The trap that she triggered, well it was a floor dropping trap. As the floor opened up, I grabbed her arm, and flung her backwards. Unfortunately, I ended up falling into the hole…
While falling, most likely to my doom, I realized that I could just use flying magic. So, I did just that, to avoid dying via a long fall. Or, I would have, if magic actually worked…
For some damn reason, I couldn’t use any magic at all… At least this hole was pretty long, so I had plenty of time to test all of this out.
After falling for an ungodly amount of time, I ended up landing in a lake. Said lake looked similar to the one that was originally in my dungeon, except, waaaaay bigger.
Not wanting to take any chances, I swam to the shore as quickly as I could. I did not want to end up being entangled by a tentacle monster once more… Where the hell even am I? Even the dungeon walls look to be different than before… Ruina… this isn’t what I think it is, right?…
Ruina: “I… I do not know how, but a higher being teleported you once again... Sorry…” She said with a remorseful tone.
Celia: “Didn’t they get in trouble for that? And, if I was teleported, where even am I now?” I ask with a serious tone.
Ruina: “I have no idea… I need to go investigate once again, I’ll be back soon, Celia.” She said with a serious tone.
Celia: “Alright, good luck! I am beginning to get super pissed off with these higher beings…” I say with a sigh.
She didn’t respond, so I assume that she already left to go report what happened. As for me, I was now once again in a random ass dungeon. No. I will not be taking over this one, I swear!
It’s not all too bad, though. I wonder why they even bothered teleporting me, when I can just teleport to my dungeon, and wait for someone I know to show up, and take me back home. But they should know about that, so maybe there was a special reason to teleport me?
Ria: “How did you even end up here?” She asked with a sigh.
What!? Looking around me, I didn’t see her at all… Ah, she must be talking in my head. Ria, some higher being teleported me again…
Ria: “You’re really unlucky, Celia. I shall bribe the other students, and Hadi, so that you get a good grade. Just focus on surviving.” She said with a giggle.
Right, I’ll do just that. Though, I think that there is a reason why this happened, but I just don’t know it yet. If I can’t find anything, I’ll just go back to my dungeon, and then you can pick me up.
Ria: “I understand, have fun, Celia.” She said.
You too, I guess? Anyway, I guess that I should go explore now. I just hope that I do not run into any Goblins… I hate repeated content! Wait, this isn’t a game, but it would still be annoying…
