Chapter 30: Ah, so That’s Why.
(Celia’s POV)
I did call it small, but probably a few thousand people could safely live in such a city. Hm… maybe Faith is right, and I can find a player here? Who knows…
Larson: “W-where did you throw that ball of undead?” She asked with a nervous tone.
After flying to the city, I was met by a security force, as well as the woman who looked to be their leader. As I was close enough, I could tell that she wasn’t a player.
Celia: “I flung it into space. They shouldn’t be able to come back. That is, unless… Don’t tell me that the zombies can teleport, can they?” I answer.
Larson: “No, we aren’t aware of them being able to do so.” She denied.
Celia: “How are you supposed to kill them, by the way?” I ask with a curious tone.
Larson: “You don’t.” She answered.
Celia: “( ’-’ ~)”
Larson: “The best that you can do is keep killing them until the sun comes up. Those zombies are… weird. They literally melt in the sun, and they know when they need to run for shelter.” She clarified.

Melting zombies? Judging from their outfits and their weapons, this dimension isn’t advanced enough to make such complex monsters like those zombies… I still think that they’re magic.
But why do they melt in the sun? Like, why is it silly vampire rules? You know, the light from the moon is just it reflecting the sun. Since that is the case, why don’t they also melt under the moonlight as well?
Faith: “That’s so rare!” She exclaimed in surprise.
Celia: “What is?” I reply.
Faith: “The sun and moon are alive, and at war with each other. The zombies were the moon’s creation, while the sun wishes to kill them. Thus why they melt in the sun!” She explained.
Celia: “…”
Faith: “Celia, I am being absolutely serious! Only the sun can kill the zombies, so there is no reason to even attempt to kill them fully.” She said with a serious tone.
What… She isn’t making some weird joke? Holy shit… This world was practically ended, all because the sun and moon hate each other too much? What a weird way to have an apocalypse happen, and continue to happen…
Larson: “How did you do… any of that?” She asked with a curious expression.
Celia: “I am Celia, a Supreme Goddess. Due to reasons that I am too lazy to constantly explain, me, and others like me, have ended up in this dimension.” I answer.
Larson: “…”
Celia: “A fight will surely break out between us, so do be careful not to tread anywhere near such fights, Miss.” I add.
I didn’t wait for permission to enter the city, as what could they do? Stop me? I mean, if a pretty woman asked me to not enter, then I won’t. But no one tried to stop me, as they obviously saw me easily mow down a horde of undead without much effort at all.
After I entered it, I gazed around the place. I was specifically searching for any hint of divinity. Even with it mostly blocked, I could still detect divinity if I get close enough. Now then… oh player, do please show yourself soon~! I am getting bored…
