Chapter 51: Meeting Someone Powerful.

(*Celia’s POV*)

When I woke up, I was seated inside a carriage. What’s more, it was a very nice one. Similar to the carriage that Victoria lent me. It wasn’t shitty, like the carriage whose driver left Penni and me to our deaths.

Clarisa: “Good morning.” She said with a smile.

Celia: “Yeah, good morning. Did anything else happen while I was asleep?” I ask.

Selen: “Nothing much. It will be a while until we get back to Brestia’s capital city. If you want, you can sleep longer.” She suggested.

Celia: “I am fine. Are you Selen?” I ask with a curious tone.

Selen: “That I am.” She replied.

Selen wasn’t an Elf, but she was most likely a demon like Victoria. At least, a human can’t get powerful enough to release such an amazing spell as she did earlier. Selen had long, deep blue hair, with blue eyes as well. She was very pretty.

Celia: “That fire spell that you cast earlier was very impressive.” I praise.

Selen: “Thank you. Such praise from a Supreme Goddess is nice. By the way, Celia. We met up with Victoria while you were asleep. We know everything about you, so there isn’t a need to hide anything from us.” She said with a smile.

Celia: “Ah, I see… I guess that Victoria must trust you two a lot, then?” I reply.

Clarisa: “Victoria and Selen are demons, and so am I. Being a mix of a demon and human, it allows us to blend in with humans.” She explained.

Celia: “That so? Does that mean you’ve known each for a long time?” I ask.

Selen: “Victoria and I are childhood friends, Clarisa is much younger than us.” She answered.

Celia: “Can I peek at you twos Statuses?” I ask with a curious tone.

Clarisa: “We were actually meaning to ask you about this.” She replied.

Selen: “That’s right. You told Victoria about her Status, which helped her realize her current power. If you would be so kind to explain ours to us? I have some paper, and a pen that you can use to write them down.” She said with an excited tone.

Well, if they want me to peep, then I will peep! First, I should check out Clarisa’s Status. I wonder if she will be stronger or weaker than Selen… Considering that she is younger, she will probably be weaker.

Yeah, that is as strong as I expected her to be. Both she and Victoria don’t have MP Stats, so that must mean that they don’t use any kind of magic. But wait… how did she go invisible then? Was it some kind of item?…

Next will be Selen’s Status. If I am being honest, I am most interested in her Status. Selen should be far more powerful than Victoria and Clarisa, so her Status should be somewhat interesting.

Huh… Selen is a few years old than Victoria. Even just a few years older, and she is already far stronger. Not to mention a higher level… No wonder Victoria trust these two so much. In the end, they’re the same. Demons disguised as humans.

Clarisa: “…”

Selen: “…So that is how it feels.” She said with a red face.

Celia: “Huh? Was it that invasive? I never heard anyone saying it felt weird. They always told me that it felt like someone peered into their soul, or something along those lines.” I say with a confused tone.

Selen: “Not many people are willing to admit that they felt aroused by it, Celia. Victoria even warned us about it.” She said with a blush.

Celia: “…”

Note to self: Be more careful about inspecting people’s Statuses. At a minimum, I should do it when they’re asleep. While the two girls recovered from me peeping on their souls, I wrote down their Statuses for them.

Clarisa: “Am I really that weaker compared to Selen? That is vexing…” She said with a sigh.

Selen: “I am stronger than even I realized… Celia, how many levels do I need to evolve?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “I don’t know. It doesn’t tell me that, you would have to use your own System. Even then, unless you have a System, it is practically impossible to evolve. For instance, humans have a max level of 100. Unless they evolve, that is their cap.” I explain.

Selen: “I see… Is there no way for us to get a System?” She asked.

Celia: “I can give you two a System, but the method is very taxing. I haven’t even tried to give Victoria or Penni one because of this.” I reply.

Clarisa: “How taxing, exactly?” She asked.

Celia: “Hm… Last time I gave someone a System when I wasn’t a Goddess, I was asleep for over a month.” I reply with a thinking pose.

If they really want it, I won’t mind. Though, it seems that with a new body, my pain tolerance didn’t carry over…

Victoria: “Celia! Please give us Systems! It would help so much.” She pleaded.

Celia: “…”

Ah, so Selen and Clarisa weren’t just sitting on opposite sides of the couch for no reason. That cheeky Victoria was here the entire time, just secretly watching. Was she always here?

Shit… That is why she was able to meet up with these two. Victoria didn’t see us off, because she was following me the entire time. If so, why didn’t she help me with those bandits?…

Celia: “You were following me this whole time, Victoria?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Victoria: “Yes. That bandit attack made my heart race, but I am glad that you managed to survive it. If you were about to die, I would have stepped in to save you.” She explained.

Selen: “Victoria’s excitement aside, we would very much like for you to give us a System.” She said with a slight giggle.

Clarisa: “Yes, it would help so much. And we swear that we will take care of you the entire time.” She swore.

Celia: “Fine… I don’t mind, but do you three care about committing a cardinal sin?” I ask with a smug tone.

Clarisa: “…”

Victoria: “…”

Selen: “What kind of sin, Celia? If we have to kill innocents to get a System, then we won’t go through with it.” She asked with a serious tone.

Celia: “Worse than that.” I say with an evil tone.

Selen: “…”

Victoria: “…”

Clarisa: “Ah! Stop beating around the bush! Just tell us already!” She said with an annoyed tone.

Celia: “You have to kiss me.” I reply with a deadpan tone and expression.

Clarisa: “…”

Victoria: “…”

Selen: “…”

I assured them that I wasn’t a pervert, and it really isn’t an actual kiss. Rather, we just have to touch our open mouths together, and then I split off a small part of my soul and give it to them. Supposedly, Ria erased this method from our memories, but I, for some reason, still remember it.

Assuming it was the Creator’s doing, I swallowed my annoyance, and gave the three women a System in rapid pace. I needed to do this fast, as I will soon be in a world of hurt. From their reactions, I would say that it worked.

Celia: “Great… Now I will be in immense pain, have fun with your Systems.” I reply before spitting out blood, and then passing out.

Blood? That didn’t happen last time, did it? Ah, I can’t remember… As I fall into what I assume will be yet another deep sleep, I am somewhat happy. At least I can get some peaceful and deserved sleep for a while…
