Chapter 22: Supreme Goddess of Terror.

(*Celia’s POV*)

Very quickly, I realized something was absolutely wrong with this situation. The little girl radiated an evil aura, and the people around realized this. They all quickly ran away. Now, it was just me and the little girl in this park. She looked pitiful, but am I being tricked?…

Celia: “Hey, what is your name?” I ask.

Little Girl: “I never got a name. Celia, that is your name, right?” She replied.

Celia: “Huh? Yeah…” I reply with a confused expression.

Little Girl: “It seems putting my faith in you was correct. This girl has killed millions of people, and yet you comfort her like this. Make no mistake, I only just now took control of her.” She explained.

Celia: “…You’re that AI?” I propose.

Little Girl: “Correct. Now then, this child is very heartbreaking. Even I couldn’t bear to control her for long. Do you have children, Celia?” She asked.

Celia: “I do, yes. Three, in fact. Ah, all adopted.” I reply.

Little Girl: “Then, can you take this child into your life and give her love? She has always lacked it. Now, thrown here while still alive into Heaven, it isn’t easy for her still. To live, she must cause terror.” She said with an unsure tone.

Celia: “One of my daughters is actually the Void, so I doubt that I will discriminate against this child.” I reply with a shrug.

Little Girl: “…”

Celia: “?”

Little Girl: “Haha, you aren’t joking… No wonder God and the Devil put their faith in you.” She said with a happy smile.

She doesn’t have a name, and that isn’t the most tragic thing about this person. She was willing to go against God and the Devil, all because she knew that God neglected Heaven. In her mind, even if she dies, this will end up with Heaven being better…

Celia: “You confuse me. I truly don’t know who to side with, you or them.” I say with a sigh.

Little Girl: “Side with them, obviously. By the end of this little game, I will be dead.” She replied with a shrug.

Celia: “What if I don’t want you to die?” I say with a sad tone.

Little Girl: “…”

Little Girl: “Even if you don’t know me?” She said with a confused tone.

Celia: “Isn’t it my domain to love all women? This doesn’t mean that I want to have sex with all women. Just that I will love them. Whatever love they need, I will willingly give them it.” I try to explain.

Little Girl: “So… you think that even I deserve love?” She asked with her head down.

Celia: “Yes.” I reply with a warm smile.

Little Girl: “And… would you be willing to give me the love that I desire?” She asked.

Celia: “It depends on what you desire. If it is romantic love, then I have to consult with my wives first.” I reply with a thinking pose.

Little Girl: “I… I will adjust my plan. Me living after all this isn’t that big of a change. But if I could become your friend, then I wouldn’t mind living.” She said with tears streaming down her face.

Celia: “Then, I will wait for you.” I say with a smile.

Little Girl: “I see… The girl will wake up soon. She will fight you, and you will have to show her that you’re stronger. Only then will she be free.” She advised.

Celia: “Huh? Why would she be free?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Little Girl: “Do you not know? Once a Supreme Goddess or Goddess submits to another God, Goddess, or the Supreme versions, they will gain their strength from them. Once that happens, she won’t have to cause such horrible things to happen, like with that fire earlier.” She answered.

Like before, I wanted to ask her more, but the little girl closed her eyes, and I knew that the original owner was now awake. She looked somewhat confused, but I could tell that she was preparing to fight me.

Little Girl: “Miss… You’re like me, right? A living person?” She asked.

Celia: “That’s right.” I reply.

Little Girl: “Then… I hope that you will survive… I truly do.” She said with more tears going down her face.

Unlike with the unnamed AI, these tears were different. The little girl looked at me like I was her savior, and she looked so wronged that she had to fight me. I have met children that deserved to be loved and pampered, especially with their dark backgrounds. But this one might take the cake. Even without any confirmation, I knew that she must have lived in pain longer than Nina did…

The ground shifted, the earth being pulled upward as the little girl floated up into the sky, almost destroying the beautiful park. Was this a battle between me and someone on my level? Instinct told me that I couldn’t let our fight happen in this place. Quickly, I flew up and picked the girl up in a princess carry, before quickly flying away with her.

The poor girl didn’t even resist at all. It seemed that she realized why I did this. Maybe because she had gone numb to killing, she didn’t care about the environment for our fight. But I did. Others suffering because of her weren’t the only problem. I could tell that she suffered just the same, even though she was the one who hurt others.

As we ended up in a secluded part of Heaven, the fight began. I hated it. Usually, I love fighting. But this wasn’t a fight. This was a just a little girl, who has suffered for thousands of years, desperately hoping that I would be the one to finally save her.

Each injury, or limb torn off from me fighting her, was a nightmare. She did the same to me, and I was crying. Not from the pain, I didn’t care about it at the moment. The fight carried on for a long time. The entire time, I was crying. Never in my life would I think that a fight would hurt me like this…

*Days Later.*

The little girl, whose name I still do not know, was on her knees. Wounds littered her body, and she was bloody as well as dirty. The fight was over, and I had won. But I wasn’t happy, not in the slightest. Walking over to her, I healed and cleaned her. The girl looked up at me, and tears poured from her eyes once more. They were tears of happiness, though…

Celia: “Would you like to become my daughter?” I ask after picking her up in my arms.

Little Girl: “I… Do I deserve such an amazing thing?” She asked, not being able to look me in the eyes.

Broken girls… I seem to attract them a lot. Is it my nature that they’re drawn to me? As I knew it would upset her, I stifled my laugh. That AI woman said practically the same thing. But this is fine, right? I joked about this before, but it truly seems as if I was given a second try at life, just so I could make girls happy.

Celia: “Only if you make me a promise.” I reply.

Little Girl: “Anything!” She exclaimed.

Celia: “The suffering you’ve caused… it can’t be forgotten. But it can be forgiven. As long as you strive to live your life happily, and you’re willing to help others when you’re able to, then you will deserve my love.” I say with a warm tone.

I didn’t catch her name, but it wasn’t something that I could ask at the moment. The girl nodded her head, and then started to cry in my chest. For hours I stood there, letting her get it all out. The suffering of countless years all came pouring out of her at this time.

She was free to do this, as I had something else on my mind. Can… can I do this? Am I strong enough? Sure, I am strong, but is my heart and mind up to the task? Can I take on the weight of all of these girls pain and suffering? Or will I eventually break under the pressure and let them down?…
