Chapter 72: Taking Stock.
*Celia’s POV*
Life has been pretty chill lately. I mean, at least no one has tried to kill me, or those I care about in a decent while. It pretty much has just been a very peaceful three months.
Amelie tried to chew out Ria, but the cheeky maid had other plans, and started to flirt with her, while completely ignoring her scoldings. All of which I found to be quite funny.
Amelie could only last for two weeks before she had to leave once again. I think that Ria is slowly trying to whittle down Amelie’s defenses, before she tries to make her an official lover. Though, unfortunately, that girl seems to be a tsundere.
When the time comes, I hope that Ria doesn’t do that approach with me. I’d much rather her be more direct about it. Though, Lia’s approach with me is fine, since it fits her personality. Ria, on the other hand, is far more direct most of the time.
As you would expect, I was cleared of any potential charges for killing Hadi. In fact, she had a shouting match with the Principal, about how disrespectful the academy was to me.
Why was a teacher allowed to do this? Simple. Hadi is the queen’s half sister. Which is also the reason why she got off scot-free for not doing her teaching job for many days. Even in a decently fair kingdom like this one, no one wishes to piss off royalty.
Except, maybe Amelie and I… I’d probably easily piss off the king, but the queen was quite cute. I do not find making a cute girl upset to be a good thing at all. Unless it is in a cute way…
Now to the present, Ria, Nia, Lia, and I, are going on an expedition to a dungeon. They finally found a replacement teacher, so now they could actually do that class. Speaking class, and training, I haven’t been slacking off at all. Would you like to see my current Status? It is sure to excite you!

Finally, all of my Stats are in the hundreds! Increasing my Stats, isn’t the only reason why I have no SIP’s at the moment. As I bought a few Skills, and Upgrades. How did I even get that many levels?
I just camped out easy monsters in the forest where my dungeon is located in. Easy levels that way! Of course, I had the help of those three pretty girls. Ah, right, new Skills and Updates.

Thanks to that teacher, who I still do not know the name of, I gained a lot of combat Skills. I lied about the Upgrades, though. Those are apparently hard to come by. I maxed out most of my magic, but a few of them were harder to train.
Light Magic, Time Magic, Space Magic, and Darkness Magic, all required either far more knowledge of magic to train higher, or needed a direct target to train on.
Light Magic is impossible to train, unless you find a lot of ghosts, or undead. All of which are kinda hard to find, unless you venture into a dungeon. Darkness Magic needed the killed enemy’s soul to actually level up. Which didn’t always happen, for some reason…
Space Magic, I didn’t bother to focus that much time on it, as my pouch was pretty good as is. Hey, when I actually run out of space in it, then I will make one of those cool Spatial storage things, like in a novel!
Time magic, well, I was able to use it once, which gained it one level. The problem is that using it, for a mortal like me, is a really bad idea… After I tried it out, Ria showed up out of nowhere to scold me about it. I trained all of my magic in secret in that dangerous forest, so how she even knew where to find me, I have no idea.
Regardless, she made me promise to not use it, until I am immortal. Why I shouldn’t use it as a mortal, is kinda hard to explain. I felt no pain, but if Ria didn’t show up to stop me from using it, I would have died. No, really. I was almost at 1 HP, even without knowing about it.
Truly, I think that I have had far many too close calls in this new life of mine… Eh, whatever. I am having fun regardless, so as long as I don’t actually die, I should just be happy about my current life.
As most of the students in this class aren’t nobles, we are supposed to just walk to the designated dungeon on our own. What would be a miles long, and hard walk to most people, was a nice carriage ride for us.
Rather than just wait the entire time, Ria had brought some games for us to play. Though, I don’t know how, but a lot of the games she had given us to play, were ones from my lifetime. Teaching Lia and Nia how to play them, was very fun on its own.
And like that, we spent our time enjoying each other, while playing games. Well, just until we make it to our destination… I don’t want to work, though…
