Chapter 3: Sava’s Truth.

(Celia’s POV)

Celia: “Are you just going to keep me patiently waiting, Sava?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

For over ten minutes, this woman had gone through various different expressions. I barely even know this girl, so why is it taking so long? Besides kidnapping me, what else could she have done?

Sava: “I did… a small horrible thing, which just so happens to have affected you by accident.” She finally spoke.

Celia: “And what is said small horrible thing?” I ask.

Sava: “The Will had erased my daughter, but I managed to find the tiniest speck of her soul still around. With it, I placed that small piece of her soul within the System.” She replied.

Celia: “And? How does this affect me?” I reply, urging her to continue.

Sava: “I…I set it to combined with the best possible candidate, and eventually take over that person’s soul…” She admitted.

Celia: “…”

What… does that mean that I will eventually cease to exist? Sava is saying this because her daughter’s soul is in me, right?… No… It can’t be! I refuse to let this happen! Oh, Goddess… I am going to pass out from the stress alone…

Sava: “Don’t worry! Your soul is far too powerful for my daughter to take over anymore. She’ll just be a dormant part of your soul from now on.” She quickly clarified.

Celia: “…Really?” I say with a nervous tone.

Sava: “Absolutely! I swear it upon my very soul, Celia! I can never get her back now, but I do not regret it. Her soul gave you a very good boost to your power and growth. Even more so as her domain as a Supreme Goddess was Luck.” She answered and added more to the story.

Phew… Thankfully, I am safe. Sure, I really shouldn’t be believing the words of this woman. But I feel like she is fully telling me the truth. In my opinion, if I was going to cease to exist, Sava wouldn’t have brought it up. Instead, Sava would have surely let me carry on with my life, and eventually turn into her daughter.

And her domain was Luck? No wonder I am so damn lucky in this life… I half believed that it was just the Will making my life interesting. It should have done some things, but at least my luck is my own.

Sava: “Anyway… I brought this up, as I want to be another mother to you. I admitted to having a daughter, since I don’t want you to think that you’re a replacement for her. You aren’t, and I will not treat you like her replacement.” She vowed.

Celia: “Okay, I don’t mind having yet another mother. Though… that does remind me that I left one of my newer mothers behind…” I agree.

Sava: “You mean Victoria? Like in every loop prior, she is slated to be in the game as well. I think that, since you’re from the same universe, you’re likely to meet her during the game.” She informed.

Celia: “Really? How does that game even work…” I reply with a confused tone.

Sava: “It takes the strongest people out of a certain dimension, and places them in a game. Ah, I don’t know if you know, but the game is for the fate of various universes.” She replied.

Celia: “Their fate? What does that entail?” I reply with a head tilt.

Sava: “The universe that had their inhabitant win, well… nothing will happen directly. Instead, the rest of the universes will be consumed by the Will of the winning universe.” She answered with a grim tone.

Celia: “…”

Fuck… This means that… despite me just wanting to save my family, I will have to doom quintillions of people in the process. Though, would I regret it? The one to be blamed is those Wills, after all.

Sava: “Which is where you come in, Celia.” She said with an excited tone.

Celia: “What do you mean?” I reply.

Sava: “You must win and save everyone! While consuming a universe, the Will cannot fight back and is extremely vulnerable. Not only can we get revenge, but you will also be able to save the other universes as well!” She happily explained.

Celia: “…”

Sava: “?”

Celia: “Is that really possible? I feel as if it won’t be as easy as you say…” I say with an unsure tone.

Sava: “Yes, you will have to kill those in the game to win, but that is just life, Celia. Rarely have you killed innocent people, but your streak of goodwill will soon end once the game starts.” She said with a remorseful tone.

Celia: “…”

That is exactly what I expected. Though I could possibly save multiple universes, I will have to kill to achieve this outcome… But isn’t this fine? I get to save my family and a practically endless number of people. It is a sin, no doubt. But it seems to be a sin that is worth committing. If such a sin ever did exist, that is.

Sava: “Celia, you must relax or the water won’t do anything.” She advised.

Celia: “Relax? How can I relax when such a terrible event is just over the horizon?…” I reply with a groan.

Sava: “Your training will be done far before the game starts, as I have done the calculations perfectly! Just relax and all will be fine. You will gain what you need for you and your family to survive. All you have to do is get blood on your hands, and commit a universal sin of killing a Will.” She explained with a motherly tone.

Celia: “It’s a sin? How bad of a sin, exactly?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Sava: “Enough to get you placed in UniHell. But you won’t be dying ever, so it won’t matter much.” She replied with a shrug.

Celia: “UniHell… What’s that?” I ask in reply.

Sava: “Each universe has one Heaven, but multiple Hells. UniHell is just the universal hell for this universe. Only the worst beings end up there. And in your case, it will be breaking an ancient law. Again, nothing to worry about!” She said with a reassuring tone.

Celia: “…”

Her tone sure was reassuring, but damn… Why wasn’t I informed that I be getting a one-way ticket to super Hell if I ever end up actually dying? Note to self: Get stronger as fast as absolutely possible. Oh, magic water that I am soaking in. Could you please give me more easy power ups? Dear family, I swear I won’t die in this life. For both your sakes, and very much for my own as well…
