Chapter 21: This Part was Underwhelming…
(Celia’s POV)
In less than two hours, the males were slaughtered, and the women were recruited. None of them joined as real members of my guild, but I wasn’t that disappointed.
Soon, my vision blurred slightly, and I was in a different dimension again. Like before, it would seem that these rest dimensions all follow the same template. Now that is something to be disappointed in. How uncreative…
Pop!
Celia: “…”
Midas: “Congratulations! You were the first one to clear this part of the game.” She said with various praises and claps.
Celia: “Really? It was so short… And I won’t get the chance to save more women…” I say with a sad tone.
Though I was welcomed with great fan fair, I wasn’t happy at all. I will admit that the cool firework magic that Midas did for me… was very nice. It did slightly better my sour mood.
Midas: “Maralia and I had rigged the game, you see. The weaker females, which we were certain would die in this part of the game, were funneled to you and your guild. The rest were even more rigged, as we only put one strong female in each game, with the other 99 players being male.” She explained.

Celia: “…That sounds a little extreme.” I reply with a shocked tone.
Midas: “Though extreme, it doesn’t even come close to repenting for all the people that have been erased after a game has been completed. Focusing on saving everyone would be crazy, but saving the females is doable.” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “So… if I recruit all the winners of this section of the game, won’t the game just be over?” I ask with a curious tone.
Midas: “No? Ah, right. It is the same setup for this rest dimension as well. Not every winning player will be present in this one.” She clarified.
I talked to her a bit more, and then she guided me into my new estate. It was practically identical to the last one, but clearly wasn’t lived in at all. Once she left, I was then alone in this estate.
Faith: “It won’t be long until the others get back. Celia, you should just rest.” She proposed.
Celia: “Instead of resting, shouldn’t I evolve?” I ask in reply.
Faith: “Absolutely not, no!” She denied with a hurried tone.
Celia: “Why not?” I reply with a head tilt.
Faith: “Maralia specifically told me to not let you evolve yet. If you do… then you’d get pushed to the last section of the game. You won’t be able to be with those in your guild, and you will be bored for a long time.” She explained with a serious tone.
Celia: “…”
Faith: “If you try to evolve, I will block it! So, you just rest for now, Celia.” She added with a stern tone.
I didn’t detect any players in this dimension yet, so I just plopped onto the couch. With absolutely nothing left to do, I decided to just sleep. Hopefully, when I do wake up, something interesting or good will happen…
