Chapter 55: My Daughter isn't here, so Please be my Stress Relief!

(*Yona’s POV*)

Celia getting taken to Hell was quite shocking for us all. Lia clearly blamed herself, but none of us did. Rather than direct my anger toward my loving daughter-in-law, I instead focused it on my enemies. Unfortunately, as I wish to be seen as being on the good side, I couldn’t just murder my enemies with wanton abandon.

Though, generals, or anyone of high rank, were free game for me. If Celia was here, she would easily be given a very interesting new nickname. As for me, I have already been nicknamed “The Blood Soaked Queen.” Which is a very fitting name for me.

I have mellowed out quite a bit since meeting Celia, but I was once very, very ruthless to my enemies. And that wasn’t just on the battlefield. Solia mentioned this a while back, but she loved how much more happy and loving that I have gotten.

Before Celia, Solia and I had sex just for pleasure. We were wives in name only, and we truly only sought out each other’s bodies. As for the sex, it was pretty violent. Each of us only cared for our own pleasure.

We both didn’t see anything wrong with this, but somewhere along the line, we realized that sharing our emotions and love with each other, as well as having loving sex, was far better than seeking out our own pleasure.

My wife’s pleasure became my own, just as much as my pleasure was mine, and the same went for Solia. Fourteen months after Celia started living in our castle, I broke down and cried to Solia.

I had realized that due to what happened to me many years ago, I wasn’t able to open up to Solia fully, and the sex reflected that. It was like I was reenacting what that man did to me, as some kind of fucked up way of getting revenge on someone that I’ve already long since killed, but to Solia… When I realized this, I felt so bad, I truly wanted to kill myself.

Of course, I wouldn’t do such a drastic thing, as there are people alive in my life that would miss me dearly if I did. Solia admitted that she never liked having sex with me, and just did as I did, so that I wouldn’t feel bad. It was at that moment, that I knew that Solia truly loved me.

Who would be able to live with someone like me for that long? Sure, I have my good points, but I clearly mistreated Solia for almost fifty damn years… It was at that moment, that I decided to start over, and do our relationship right.

My plan went swimmingly, and Solia and I were all the more happier for it. I will never truly get over my hatred of men, but it will at least lessen over time. I think that I’ve made good progress, as I didn’t just straight up kill any male soldier that I came across.

If it was the me before meeting Celia, then I would have slaughtered them all. Celia… my dear wonderful daughter… She was, and still is, the greatest gift that I have truly ever received.

Of course, though she might already know that I think this, I will never express this to my dear wife, Solia. When Celia was stolen from us, it was like my time froze for a while. With Nia’s words, we quickly realized how horrible we all were.

Our monopoly on Celia was on an insane level. Although I wish to kill the person who did this to Celia, and in a very, very violent way, in some way, I have to thank them. Because of their trap, we found out the error of our ways very early.

If we didn’t figure this out so soon, we would slowly destroy Celia over a few more years, just as I was slowly destroying my marriage and love life with Solia. What’s worse, is that Celia would never admit to being wronged by us. Celia loves us just as much as we love her, after all…

Much to my anger towards myself, I don’t even recall the last time that I’ve asked Celia what she wanted to do. Talking to the other’s, it was basically the same for them. Sure, Celia would do things that she wanted to do from time to time, but it was mostly her doing what we wanted to do.

This was something that we already planned to change once she gets back home. That discussion lasted for three days straight. Though, nearing the end, it was mostly us talking about all the things that we love about Celia…

Now, this isn’t something that Celia probably even thinks about, but one thing that I absolutely love about her, is that she always, even while at the academy, would show up at my room. Right before we would go to sleep, Celia would hug both Solia and I, and then give us a kiss on our foreheads.

I am sure that she does the same for Amelie and Mena. But for us, she had done this for two years straight, not even missing a single day. Just remembering this puts a bright smile on my face.

As I had just finished beheading a famous commander, I am sure that my smiling blood covered appearance is just adding to my new nickname. Since I am already a queen, I have no need for war trophies, as such, I just tossed the head to one of my soldiers.

Looking at the now unguarded kingdom that I will soon take over, I slowly walk toward it. This… it was the last kingdom to take over. Amora failed to stop us, that much is clear to see. Once we took it over, there would be absolutely nothing stopping us from taking over Eloateilian.

With the infinite wealth of absurdly powerful Mana Crystals within Celia’s dungeon, I had powered up myself, and everyone around me. This included my military. An added effect of those Mana Crystals which contained every element, was that it also made people far stronger.

Remembering my Status from when I first met Celia, I am sure that I am now at least ten times stronger than before. And that is thanks to Celia and those Mana Crystals.

This is the key reason to why we were so successful in taking over practically this entire continent. It is also the reason why we have suffered no deaths on our side.

I know that Celia and the rest would hate me for this, well, it was Ria’s plan, so I can always blame her if they found out, I had put those special Mana Crystals in all of my family’s meals. Of course, they were thoroughly crushed up first.

Celia didn’t get this same treatment, as with her System, she would easily figure out our plan. Luckily, we weren’t too crazy, and we did some testing on some death row inmates first. Or rather, Amelie was the one that did those experiments. Yes, she is in on the plan as well.

Anyway, as I reach the front gate of this last kingdom in our path, I slightly chuckle at the soldiers that have quickly thrown their weapons away, and who are now on the ground, bowing in fear to me and my overwhelming force.

I am a bit of a sadist to my enemies, so such a thing is pleasing to me. But regardless, my goal is the king, so that we can end this war long before Celia gets back. Ah, the look on Celia’s face will be amazing. I just know it!
