Chapter 18: Interesting Reveal!
(*Celia’s POV*)
The Commander gave us some targets to deal with, so Amelie and I went our separate ways. Unless the Devil pops up out of nowhere to deal with Amelie, she should be perfectly fine.
Of course, I was against splitting up, but Commander said that if something does happen to Amelie, then everyone present will willingly let me kill them. Fuckers! Like I could harm such cute girls… Ah, wait. I think that they’re males in this group as well…
Eh, not like I would kill them, either. Regardless, the only reason I agreed was because Amelie begged me to let her do her own thing. On top of that, besides Amelie, me, and the Devil, no one here is stronger than us.
Even if you were powerful before you died and ended up in Heaven, you won’t have any of that power when you arrive. You can get more powerful in Heaven, but most don’t. Why bother? They’re dead, anyway. Some do, though. Like with that Goddess that Amelie fought with earlier.
Considering these limitations of Heaven, it is weird that most of the people in that group are so powerful. But when you realize that the entire group is full of chuunibyou’s, that are basically freelance “peace” keepers of Heaven, you’ll understand why…
Yeah, the fate of Heaven is on the shoulders of a bunch of edgelords… Well, at the very least, Amelie and I aren’t like them. I mean, it’s not like they’re bad people, just that they aren’t as reliable as us.
Cloaked Woman: “Celia, as you’re the strongest one here, we have given you the harder targets.” She explained.
Celia: “And? Who is my first target?” I ask.
Currently, we were sitting on top of a building. The person with me is the same person from before. She refused to take off her cloak and also refused to tell me her name. Wait… why is that, besides the codenames, she is the only one with a cloak?
Cloaked Woman: “Businesses don’t really exist that much here compared to modern living worlds, but there are still a handful of them. One such business, or rather, the owner of tons of them, is under the Devil’s control.” She explained.
Celia: “That so?” I reply with a head tilt.
Cloaked Woman: “…”
The woman was shocked, as I have taken out and pointed my sword at her. All of us really fucked up. This woman was amazing at concealing her presence, almost as if she was air. On top of that, if I think about it clearly, she didn’t use her full strength when fighting me. Which, granted, she was testing me for the group, but she acted as if she used her full strength.
Cloaked Woman: “For what reason have you turned your weapon against me?” She asked with an unconcerned tone.

Celia: “You’re an outlier. I don’t know why, but I get the feeling that you’re more important than you make yourself out to be.” I answer.
The woman didn’t answer, and instead, she starting laughing a lot. It wasn’t a crazy laugh, mind you. In fact, it was quite the attractive laugh. Who is even this woman? Because I am getting more and more interested in her…
Devil God: “You’re very wise, child.” She said with a happy laugh.
I call her Devil God, as she was clearly a mix between the two. As she had taken off her cloak, I could see that one side of her had red hair, a red long horn on her head, and red eyes. While the other side, was blond hair, with one angel wing, and deep gold eyes.
Celia: “In my head, I am calling your Devil God, but do you have a name?” I ask.
Yestila: “For now, just call us Yestila.” She replied.
Celia: “Us?” I say with a head tilt.
Yestila: “Yes. God and I got caught up in an interesting scheme. Their plan didn’t work out that well, as God was mostly killed, and my body was taken over. But, with us combining into one person, we were able to make a new body and survive.” She explained.
Celia: “Ah, so you two are working behind the scenes to deal with this imposter Devil?” I assume.
Yestila: “That is correct, yes. Knowing that we’ve tricked you, your mother, and that interesting group, will you still help us?” She asked with an unsure tone.
Celia: “Hm? Of course I will help.” I reply with a confident tone after putting my weapon away.
Yestila: “…”
Celia: “What?” I ask.
Yestila: “Then what was the point of uncovering our true identities, if you were just going to help us, regardless?” She asked with a confused tone.
Celia: “I like to know who I am working with, and you were being far too secretive.” I reply with a shrug.
Yestila: “…If this wasn’t a shared body, I would try to seduce you.” She said with a wistful tone.
Celia: “Good luck with that. I am a married woman.” I say with a laugh.
Yestila: “…You would deny me? The Devil? I could give you everything that you’d desire!” She said with an almost crazed tone as she held my shoulders.
Celia: “And? Why exactly would that make me want to be with you?” I reply after shaking her arms off of me.
Yestila: “…Haha… Silly girl, you do realize that you’ve just made me want you even more?” She said with a seductive laugh.
Celia: “Like I said, good luck with that.” I reply with a shrug.
Yestila: “Don’t tempt me… Ah, for now, we should focus on dealing with this annoying person who is parading around in my body.” She said with a sigh.
Fuck… I was right about the Devil being hot… No. That doesn’t mean that I want to be in a relationship with her. Although, I wouldn’t mind it, I still need my wives permission first. And I can’t get something like that at the moment.
Celia: “Okay, with that out of the way, who is my target exactly?” I ask with a curious tone.
Yestila: “The CEO of many companies. She is currently inside her office in the building in front of us. Just break in, and deal with the darkness mind control.” She replied.
Celia: “Is she strong?” I ask.
Yestila: “Yes. Before she died, she was a Supreme Goddess, just like you. She isn’t as strong as you, though. Just expect a fight.” She answered.
Celia: “Alright. Wait… why can’t you deal with this?” I ask with a thinking pose.
Yestila: “To not hurt God, I can’t use any Darkness Magic. On top of that, neither of us has even one percent of our true power. In fact, you’re currently far stronger than us at the moment.” She explained with an annoyed tone.
Celia: “Really? That sucks… I guess that I will go do a break in, then.” I reply with a sigh before flying away.
As I flew down to the ground level of the city, I felt an odd feeling from the building. Fuck… Yestila made it sound easier than it will certainly be, as this place feels like it might end up being my grave… Oh, wait. I am immortal! With a giggly smile, I walked into the building without an appointment.
