Chapter 8: Execution.

(*Celia’s POV*)

On the ride to Chandler’s estate, Anastasia informed me of the various horrible things that he had done. Some of what she told me greatly pissed me off to no end. Long story short, Chandler will be burning in Hell for a very, very long time once I kill him.

Celia: “I know that it won’t make up for it, but do know that Heaven and Hell are real, and Chandler will spend thousands of years repenting in Hell after I end him.” I say with a warm tone.

Anastasia: “Really? Hearing that does make me happy.” She replied with a smile.

Celia: “Any idea on how I should go about killing him?” I ask.

Anastasia: “Truly? If I had it my way, he would be flayed alive.” She answered.

Celia: “…”

That is a little extreme, no? Whatever… I’ll figure out the method of execution when I get to him. Ah, that looks to be Chandler’s estate! It was fucking huge! Are those mounted machine guns turrets?… As they started to fire, I used wind magic to block the bullets.

Quickly, the maid driving the car turned back around so that we would stop being under fire. Fucking hell… This place really was a fort. What kind of insane person puts turrets on the borders of their estate!? Before he lost that power, he had practically the entire world under his control. Why bother making such a guarded estate? Crazies are crazy, it seems…

Celia: “I’ll go the rest of the way on foot.” I say after stepping out of the car.

Anastasia: “Right… Sorry about that. I forgot that he was crazy enough to do such a thing…” She said with a remorseful tone.

I just replied with a smile and flew away. I could block the bullets, but there was no reason for me to deal with them head on. As such, I flew just above them, and I used various kinds of magic to destroy all of the turrets at this estate. At least, on the outside of it. Oddly, the best magic to use against them was Electricity Magic.

Stupidly, because they set on fire once destroyed, I had to use Water Magic to deal with the fires. With a sigh, I gazed at a camera that was clearly active, and I flashed it an evil smile before destroying it. Chandler was watching his executioner invade his safe haven, which worked out well for me. Chandler needed to suffer somewhat for his crimes.

*Hours Later.*

Am I going insane!? This place had so many turrets and other methods of defense, I would think this place as some kind of last resort from a zombie apocalypse… Regardless, I now have come to a giant vault. Chandler was clearly inside of it, as I could sense someone within. Wait… three people?

Using a decent bit of force, I ripped the vault door off of its hinges. Right… I forgot that I am super strong… With another sigh, I threw it away behind me, destroying a wall in the process. Walking into the vault, well, it didn’t store many valuables. It seemed to be a last resort bunker, rather than a place to hold your immense wealth.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.

It didn’t look like a metal vault, either. The inside looked similar to the outside and the rest of Chandler’s estate. Going further in, I came across a door. It was a wooden door, so breaking it down was easy as pie. Inside, I saw an interesting sight…

Chandler: “S-stay away!” He demanded with a shaky voice.

Chandler held two handguns in his hands. He was pointing said handguns at the heads of two women. I don’t know why I felt this, but I felt as if they were related to Tana. I mean, they do look somewhat like her… They both had cloth gagging their mouths, so I couldn’t ask them any questions.

Celia: “And who might these women be?” I ask with a curious tone.

Chandler: “You care about Tana, correct? Well, I faked her mother’s and sister’s death. They’re still alive, and are right here with us.” He explained.

Celia: “So, you plan to use them to threaten me?” I reply with a raised eyebrow.

Chandler: “Surely, you, a Supreme Goddess, can’t let two innocent women die, right?” He said with a confident tone.

Celia: “That is correct.” I reply.

Chandler: “Right! So you should leave right now, and then I will release them.” He proposed.

Celia: “You didn’t let me finish.” I reply with an annoyed tone.

Chandler: “What?” He said with a confused tone.

Before he could react, I snapped my fingers and used Time Magic. It’s been a long time… forgive the accidental pun. Anyway, I haven’t used Time Magic for a long while. Now that I am immortal, I can use it without any worries. As time was frozen around me, I walked over to the two women, untied them, removed their gags, and then brought them over to the door.

Before letting time resume, I walked back over to Chandler and I unloaded both of his handguns, made sure there wasn’t a round in the chamber anymore, and I took his extra mags as well. I then walked back to the entrance, put my arms around the two women’s waists, and let time resume once more.

Chandler: “…”

Celia: “Chandler, the moment that I marked you for death, you were destined to die. Even so, I cannot let you take innocents out with you, so I will use all of the powers within my possession to stop such a thing from happening.” I say with a smug tone.

Chandler: “What… how did you do that?” He asked with a shocked tone after trying to shoot me, but failing, as he had no ammo.

Celia: “Did you really think that Time Magic was beyond me? Do you think that foolish fallen angel was the top? How foolish.” I reply.

Chandler: “Wait… wait! Don’t kill me! If you do, you won’t ever figure out who the angel that helped me is.” He said with a hurried tone.

Celia: “I don’t really care.” I reply with a shrug.

Chandler was sweating like a pig, and it got worse as I walked over to him. Before I could fully reach him, various maids showed up and pointed their handguns at me. The fuck? Really? Right when I am about to deal with him?… As I was stuck being very annoyed, I barely notice a beautiful woman walk into the vault room.

Woman: “I thank you for making our path easy, Celia. Anastasia mentioned you, so I when I heard that Chandler would be easily killed by you, I decided to come here as fast as I could.” She explained.

Celia: “And? I was just about to off him, you know?” I say with a raised eyebrow.

Woman: “Please leave that to us. I am sure that you would have given him a horrible death, but we can do much worse.” She replied.

Celia: “I figure that you could, but I was just going to kill him quickly.” I reply.

Woman: “Why?…” She asked with a confused tone.

Celia: “There is no reason to have him suffer until he dies, as he will surely burn in Hell for thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years. This isn’t a saying, either. I truly mean that Heaven and Hell are real, and he will suffer.” I explain.

Woman: “…Fine. Girls, kill him.” She said with a sigh before ordering her maids to execute Chandler.

Good lord… they riddled that man with so many bullets. He is now super dead… Ah, they even used 45 ACP handguns? That’s good! Seemingly, 45 ACP kills the soul. Maybe? I don’t know, but I still walked over to his corpse and reaped his soul. It was still there, so that myth is clearly busted. What a shame…

After that little event, Anastasia showed up again and took Tana’s mother, sister, and I, back to Tana’s estate. There was a teary-eyed reunion for Tana and her family. After they all calmed down, Tana said that it would take her a week or two to get all of the items that I requested. As such, it was decided that I would stay with Tana in her estate until then. Ah, now it is time to experience the life of a modern rich person!
