Chapter 6: Planning out an Assassination.
(*Celia’s POV*)
One of Tana’s maids woke me up, as we had finally arrived back on land. I was curious why the man called Tana crazy, and why he promised me millions that he didn’t have. Of course, it was just to try to survive. So he resorted to lying. Tana offered to drive the man somewhere, but he said that he would prefer getting his own ride. Which is understandable. Tana did almost kill him, after all.
Tana: “Celia, let’s head to my home and then we can plan out our assassination of that man.” She proposed.
Celia: “Alright, sounds like a plan.” I reply.
Aw… I made a pun, but she didn’t react at all… I miss my wives already! They would always at least chuckle at my jokes, even if said joke sucked to all hell. Come to think of it, I wonder what they’re doing at the moment?
I frankly don’t even know how long I was asleep for. Cimra and the rest refused to tell me, as they said it would negatively affect my tests and exams. Which makes me worry greatly… I think that they would only do that if I was asleep for a long time…
Holy shit… That man was totally wrong! Tana’s estate was massive, and was at least a few hundred million… Currently, we had arrived at Tana’s house. A little odd for a modern world, but we were sitting down and drinking tea.
Tana: “Alright, now that we have a place to talk, I should inform you about my target of revenge.” She said with a serious tone after taking a sip of her tea.
Celia: “Of course, explain away. This regal, elegant, and beautiful Goddess will listen to your woes, and decided if judgement shall be bestowed upon your target of revenge.” I jokingly reply.
Tana: “…”
Maid: “Is this how you normally talk?” She asked.
Celia: “Nope! I am just making a joke. I am a reincarnater, so just think of me as a random person from a world like this one.” I answer with a giggle.
Tana’s explanation was intense, so much so that she ended up crying multiple times. I actually felt bad about joking around… It wasn’t something so simple as you would expect. The man, who practically ruined Tana’s life, is called Chandler.
A man of wealth and overly high self-worth. Unfortunately, he met Tana. It was love at first sight for him, and with such a personality and upbringing, how could Tana not be with him? Tana is a lesbian, so she declined his advances.
This didn’t work at all, and he pestered her for four years. It wasn’t just her mother and sister. Any male or female friend was killed by him. And easily with his unchecked wealth. He had rumors spread about Tana, but none of them stuck, as Tana had a big team that took care of her PR.

Eventually, he decided that Tana had declined his advances enough, so he figured that if he couldn’t have her, then no one could have her either. The attempts on her life were rampant, but they would always fail in the end. But Tana neglected to have people protect her mother and sister, who were her only living relatives.
Examining the bodies, she discovered that her mother and sister were sexually and physically assaulted before they died. Information that was hidden by her maids until her family was murdered, was that her female friends suffered the same fate at the hands of Chandler…
Chandler was the most evil and corrupt rich person that you could think of. He relished in the fact that no matter what crime he committed, he wouldn’t be charged at all. None of his crimes were ever brought to court, as Chandler would silence all involved.
I was heavily confused, as even with a lot of money, you typically can’t get away with shit like this. Rich people do have egos, after all. They wouldn’t like a piece of shit like Chandler doing these crimes in broad fucking daylight. Sure, most of them may have committed similar crimes, but never in the light.
Tana: “Celia, the answer is very simple. He owns the world’s premier shipping company. At his word, he could easily destroy any country just by restricting shipments to and from said country.” She explained.
Celia: “What? Even still… why do you all have to turn to a fucking Goddess to off this horrible person?” I ask with a sigh.
Tana: “Chandler seemingly has a choke hold over pretty much every company. He has his hands in damn near every pie. As shitty as it sounds, divine intervention is the only way to deal with him.” She answered.
Celia: “Fine… Just pile up a bunch of entertainment. I will deal with Chandler.” I reply after getting up from my seat.
Tana: “Where are you going?” She asked with a confused tone.
Celia: “Hm? Ah, I am off to go kill a horrible person. I usually don’t agree with vigilante justice, but as I am a Goddess, I think my justice is well… justified?” I reply.
Tana: “Wait! I’ll go with you.” She proposed.
Celia: “No deal.” I deny.
Tana: “Why not? This is my revenge…” She said with an upset tone.
Celia: “…”
With a sigh, I walked over to Tana and gave her a hug. Revenge is a deadly path, and it is one that will destroy a person like Tana. This is a burden that I must take on for her. If I don’t do it alone, Tana will never move on.
Tana: “…”
Celia: “Tana, he will die, mark my words. But you can’t be the one to kill him. It’s not the kind of person that you are. Leave the murder to me.” I say as I rub her back.
Tana: “But…” She said with a shaky tone.
Celia: “Tana, I understand what you want. You want to make him suffer, to rip him into pieces for what he did to you, your friends, and your family.” I reply.
Tana: “…”
Celia: “That isn’t you, Tana. You don’t have to stoop to our level where conflicts start and end with violence.” I say with a warm tone.
Tana: “Then… what am I supposed to do?” She asked with an unsure tone.
Celia: “Live.” I answer.
Tana: “What do you mean?” She asked with a confused expression.
Celia: “Chandler will be dead soon, but you will still have to live your life. You need to find a reason to live. A way to deal or numb the pain that you’ve gone through, and the pain that you continue to go through. That said, if you do wish to die, I can kill you in a painless way.” I explain.
Tana: “I… I still want to live.” She replied.
Celia: “Even after I’ve killed Chandler?” I ask.
Tana: “Yes, of course!” She exclaimed.
Celia: “Good. That’s the first step done.” I reply while patting her head.
With that settled, I left Tana’s estate. I didn’t even bother to ask her Chandler’s location, as I wanted to hunt him down myself. Rabid animals need to be hunted and put down, you see. Wow… how edgy… Regardless, I will eventually find that fucker if I look hard enough. Now then, I wonder how I shall end such a monster?…
